First off this ball HOOKS, I bought it hoping to fit in my light oil spot, well this ball actually makes a very good Medium/Heavy oil ball. Anyway, Drill, 3inch pin, with the Pin above the bridge Cg, no weight hole I recently used it in a tournament with a 38 foot sport shot with good backends, playing a pretty straight line(18-12) with good success. The ball got through the heads with ease and maded a nice strong arc to the pocket. The houses carry sucked but I carried better with the Sling Blade then I did with my inferno(Witch it also out hooked) So that says somthing. I also used the ball on my house shot(Medium/Heavy 42 feet), Without the flyin backeds, I was able to play in the track area(Around 16-8), it made the same nice move with less backend reaction. The sling Blade is still a great ball, that I will be bringing with me to tournaments when I need a good control ball. Just remember this ball is stronger then advertised

I got this ball about 2 weeks ago. I drilled up all four balls for a weekend tournament. The Sling Blade is laid out with the Pin 4 3/4" and the CG 4 1/2" from my Positive Axis Point (PAP). The weekend tournament had a light oil shot. 10 to the gutter was dry and 10 to 10 was had some light oil. I was able to swing the ball from 15 to 5 into the dry and the ball made a controlled arcing move to the pocket. On the same type of shot, my Blade Pearl would make a more snappy backend move. I used this in another tournament the next weekend where the heads were hooking and there was some carrydown. The Sling Blade got through clean and I was able to play a more direct line than most other people. With the flip block off of the Sling Blade, all the bowlers that wanted more length than the Blade Pearl will find it in this ball. If you have any questions, please email me
