I got this thing drilled very aggresive for the backend and had it polished. The thing hooks as much as my Black Widow when I first got it. This thing can really take off on the backend. Sometimes it can be a little speed sensitive, but what ball isn't? It is not as forgiving as other balls. I like to play with this ball standing on last dot on the left and shooting it at the 3rd or 4th arrow. This is a good ball to have if you need something that is a little jumpy off the dry.

This ball straight up MOVES in the back end! I found this ball on the rack of my home center and i didn't know much about it, but after throwing it a few times i cannot fathom why someone would leave this ball behind. It is by far my favorite ball i have ever had the pleasure of throwing. The back end motion is incredible, the angle it takes to the pocket is just plain devastating and the looks of the ball are beautiful. It is a hook monster! it has its weaknesses but what ball doesnt? i can easily look past this downside to appreciate this ball for everything that it is. If you can find one....pick it up!

Drilled it stack with a half inch kick out, pin under the ring finger. Wrong drilling for my style and this ball. This ball has amazing potential, more so than almost anything I've ever thrown. Gets down the lane and makes an incredibly sharp turn into the pocket. Begins hooking way to early but when I can get it there with this crappy drilling, nothing stays up. Sends pins flying much like my old vicious. Only problem is the ball tends to be very sensitive. On a fresh shot, it's magic, but once things start breaking down and the oil starts moving, get something else out because this ball will be nothing but a headache.

i got it drilled pin up.i polished it a bit and on dry i was able to swing it out to about 12 and it had so much backend it was rediculous. on oil i was able to go straighter up 2nd arrow and it would start out in oil and hit the dry down lane and take off. hits like a truck. saves a lot of energy for the back. doesnt track up. all around great ball for pretty much every condition. my favorite ball by far . so good i got another 15lbs one. it should have been the ultimate inferno of midpriced balls in terms of sales.you do have to rejuvenate it more often than other balls

My gosh what a ball. First let me start out by telling you that this isnt a normal Saw Blade. I work in a pro shop and it just so happens that my boss is a hammer Rep. So this was one of the test balls he recieved. We call it the "Green Pin". He had a green, yellow and red. The red hooked the earliest, then the yellow, and the green went the longest. Anywho, this ball is wonderful. I dont have any specs because it was plugged and re-drilled. But i can say its a 45 degree drill with the pin next to ring finger and the cg in palm. Good midlane read with a nice move on the backend. Usually the first ball out of the bag now to tell me what i need to change to. Another good piece from Hammer.

This ball is awesome! Had a few practice throws to find mark, after that it was all fun. Very consistent hook, always found the pocket, and best of all hit the pins hard. Even if it looked like a pin would stand up, one pin would fly from the side and knock it down, very good pin action. It has now moved up to being the first ball taken out of the bag after just one day of throwing with it. The only problem I had was that I was also trying out my new spare ball ( my first spare ball) and wasn't use to getting no hook, so it ruined my average. Overall though, I had a 195 average out of 6 games!

This is a great ball and I am very glad. As a beginner it was very forgiving and didn't cause me to have low scores even though i was just learning. Also it was very nice working with buddies pro shop. I highly reccomend purchasing your new items here. If you get the chance buy this ball. You will not regret it. It works pretty well in all lane conditions, but you just dont want it to be extremely dry or extremly oily. anywhere in the middle would be a nice fit for using this ball. Anothing winner in the hammer line is all that i can say.

I thought I would never own a particle ball again after my RAGING INFERNO [ marshmellow] And SWAMP MONSTER [sissy]. The two Brunswick balls that broke the bank and my spirit. I just purchased the SAW and this ball is the bomb when the condition calls for a particle to do the job, hits harder than I expected, retains twice the enegry as the brunswick balls mentioned above, and opens up the lane when called for I can play this ball all over the lane what a concept In would recomend this ball to anyone looking for this type of ball it's a great compliment to my absulute,rs1,ultimate. I cannot say enough Hammer got a WINNER

This ball is pretty darn simple folks. Throw the ball outside on the lane and let it do its thing. this is a good ball for players who like to go long and have a snap reaction. I was throwing a variety of lines. i went with the big hook. and then i went with a small hook and either way this ball still had would it took to get in the pocket and carry. This is probably the most powerful blade. Although, the blade series are probably the best bowling balls around. if you want to relax and not worry about your ball coming in on the backend of the lane take the Saw blade and have some fun. Good luck and good bowling.

i got this ball for xmas with my real deal. i drilled it the same as my real deal (stacked leverage). On drier conditions this ball out hooks my real deal. in the oil it slides further but finishes stronger than my real deal In the oil they hook about the same if the back ends are dry and clean. Real Deal is better when their is carry down. i used the Saw Blade on my 9:30pm leagues when the lanes were medium oil house shot and rolled 300-259-259 for a 818 series. Need i say more. Great carry in or outside of the oil. A truely amazing ball.<scri

I played this ball on several different lines. The ball is a great ball for a player that likes to play over the middle or let the ball drift alittle outside and SAW it's way into the pins. I never really liked switching ball companies, but I'm pleased with what Hammer has done to this ball. Get this ball to play different lines on the lane and be very pleased at the same time. The ball also rolls very nice down the lanes, doesn't seem to die out like some other Hammer series balls. Overall, they did a great job on this ball.

I drilled 2 Saw Blades up today Axis Point 5 1/8 x 1/8 Ball 1 Axis Leverage. Pin Adjacent to the Ring finger cg=enter of gravity on PAP Balance hole on Midline 6 3/4" from center of grip. Used ball on a house shot. Outside of 5 was dry with a ton of oil 5-5. I was able to play up the boards and bounce the ball off the dirt and get it back to the pocket. I was also able to play 3rd arrow and keep the ball in the oil and get a great reaction. I left a few stone 10 pins; but what ball doesn't? This ball produced a smooth even arc The Second ball was laid out with the pin above the bridge with the CG kicked out to the right about 1 9/16" right of the center of grip and 3/4 " down in the thumb positive Quadrant again i put the weight hole 6 3/4 in away from the center of grip on the mid line. I only got to throw about 6 shots on the same house shot and liked the reaction. This ball went a little further than the first ball with a pronounced flip. I like the reaction of both bal

Brian Graham was kind enough to send us a few us these early to test out. I laid out this ball with the Pin and CG 3 5/8" from my PAP. The pin was 2 3/4" above my VAL. I threw this ball on two different lane conditions. The first was on the Fresh Oil house shot, and the second was on a 39 foot sport shot. On the fresh oil house shot I was able to play a variety of lines and still get the ball back to the pocket with punch. My favorite line was throw from the 11th board out to the 5th boards and the ball would pick up a mid lane arc back to the pocket. On the 39 foot sport shot, the ball was super clean through the front and picked up a mid lane roll and had a strong move on the clean backends. This is by far the most aggressive Blade that I have thrown. The Hammer Saw Blade features the familiar original Hammer core roll pattern. This ball comes out of the box polished to help it get through the heads cleaner. If you have any questions, please email me at Bill@B
