When i first got this ball, it was my first reactive resin ball and it was a great ball for the time being. After about 2000 games, i deffinitely started to notice a decrease in reaction. I've had the ball for about 5 years now so over 7000 games on this ball is pretty believeable since it was the only ball i had for a good 3 years. It did great when it was new and for probably the first 2000 games but even after that, if it was cleaned or resurfaced, it did start to get some of its reaction back. Another thing i didn't care for was in all the pictures, the color of the ball was supposed to be a dark navy blue with a lighter royal blue swirl but mine was always all dark navy blue except for when it got cold. Then the lighter royal blue would appear but then disappear as soon as the ball warmed up again.

I bought this ball to combat heavy oil. It was just as good as I hoped it would be. Great even roll, hit and carry. I used this ball everywhere with success. Had it for over a year and bowled about 4 nights a week. Had over six hundred games on it then, it lost something. Tried the "hook again", resurfacing and nothing worked. It was a sad day when I decided to retire it. But, in every cloud there is a silver lining. I bought my Storm Super Charge! Wanted the same ball but, Hammer didn't make this gem anymore.

I have had this ball for over a year, has over 50 games on it and it still hits just as hard. If there is no oil in the heads, the ball will "punk out" and use all it's energy by midlane, leaving nothing for the backends, resulting in less hook and less hitting power. I have mine drilled with the Pin above and to the right of the ring finger and the GG almost straight below it. If you play on a typical house shot with a small flood in the middle and a desert outside of 10....this ball will do wonders. It outhooks and outhits my Vicious Strike. It has a smooth and predictible roll and it is rare that it won't recover from an "out of bounds" shot. As far as people saying it "died"...I have yet to see it. I clean my equipment every week/every other week and have yet to lose any reaction out of this ball.

TOTAL REVIEW OF THIS BALL! The ball is drilled fairly strong, and it has a small weight hole. This ball was amazing when i first had it. Great arcing motion to a swift backend. And it hit hard, and I mean hard, probably the hardest hitting ball I have ever had. The only thing is it soaked up oil, like any other particle ball, and died, quickly. It's still a great ball, It's now in my basement, but still a great ball. Only thing is, I must use it on a medium-dry to a long dry pattern for it to be effective. This ball is graded on how it was when i first got it!

i bought this ball off of ebay for $75 new.. the first time i threw it after i got it drilled it absolutely killed.. it hook_ed right through the oil and into the pocket.. it got me a bunch of 600's in junior league because we bowl on fresh oil and thats when this ball should be used.. its hooking again now that its resurfaced and cleaned.. id say its worth the 100 you'll end up spending on it... maybe if you like reactive balls get the blade reactive, a lof of people reviewed that i see..<scrip

Lanes seem to be drying out a lot quicker in the Summer leagues. Bought this ball specifically for oil and I THINK it was a good BUY. As long as there is a trace of oil this ball is VERY forgiving. Light hits .. blow the pins away. In the middle of the second game the ball seem to come up a little higher .. rather then move I have been putting the ball away. Love the way the ball moves and the explosion it creates. The price was right and this is my first HAMMER .. think I will consider them in the future!

When I first used it (out of the box), I was not happy with it at all. I'm a full roller who doesn't throw real hard and I couldn't get the darned thing to break much at all. Next time out I sanded it to 400 and it still wasn't much. I finally tried 600 and found that it worked much better...but still didn't hook as much as I expected. I tried the outside line and it couldn't make it back to the pocket so I moved halfway toward midlane an found that this was where this ball wanted to be. It hits hard when you get it to the pocket and I rarely leave a ten pin. I have found that it is a bit speed sensitive. If I throw it with a bit too much speed it doesn't hook much at all but if I back off a bit too much it goes brooklyn but still gets it's share of strikes on the "wrong side." Overall I guess I'm not unhappy with the ball anymore but I don't think I would have bought it if I knew how little it hooked. I was hoping that it would hook at least as much as my apex agression (which was

I was throwin gwith this ball on a medium/light and medium/heavy condition and found out that this ball will not want to hook when thrown out. Therefore it will not recover to well when standing 5th arrow. Its prime is 4th arrow or less. The good thing though it will stand up to heavy oil. Will handle medium to light oil as well, but has some hooking issues on synthetic lanes. You might think this is BS,but i throw a ball that has 380 rpms and at 15 to 18 mph.Any speed slower forget about it.Anyways this ball hooking 31 boards......I would like to see that....On a medium oil shot.

ball is awesome for two games. then when the lanes dry out by the last part of the second game or begining of the third it will drive so hard it is unbelieveable. this ball will hook from almost anywhere on the lanes im thinking of putting a little polish on just to tame it down a hair. but maybe the lanes have been dry for a couple of weeks. then throw the blade pearl. that ball hooks just or a little tamer than the particle and the reactive but still a great ball . i wish i had one of each just to play around on the lane

i tested this ball in redwood city at the hammer challenge and the drilling was pin under the ring finger with the cg directly below, under the mid line the ball is strong and what can i say other then dang does it every hit hard. the ball would go about 25 feet and then just start to turn and continue to the pocket. the best thing i noticed about the ball was how little hand you needed to make the ball move. the more hand you had the less room for error you had is what i noticed. anyone who is struggling with heavy oil, this is the ball and its price doesn't hit hard on the pocket. great ball for the price. a few others at the demo day also liked the ball and how its reaction was on lanes that i talked to.

Most of you know that I currently own over 40 bowling balls and that I am not afraid to try a new ball because of reputation or bad mouthing of a product. This blade along with a new diesel and a new vicious were part of a ball expo I attended in Redwood City, Mel’s bowling center. A nice old house with 40 well kept lanes hosted the event attended by Hammer staff and proshop owners and a few hand picked guests. We were treated to a competitive oil pattern that was similar to PBA pattern B. This ball was laid out conservative but that did not discourage me at all. This ball rolls up deep and makes a reliable predictable move to the pocket it hits like a vicious but boy This ball is great for ease of shot I cant tell you how much of a pleasure it was to lob this ball into the crunch zone over and over with little difficulty. Pin carry was phenomenal, if the ball didn’t carry it was my bad shot not the ball, which performed flawlessly. For many months I have been partial to the storm li
