FAT MAN (and Little Boy) are only bowling balls with the revolutionary TWIN-PIN WEIGHT SYSTEM, which dramatically improves both the accuracy tracking and efficiency of your hook or straight ball. A powerful gyroscopic action is created by the Twin-Pin Weight System, which produces the technical efficiency to deliver a disruptive, explosive, pin-killing force at the critical point of impact. The FAT MAN ball hooks less than the Little Boy. Even more amazing... no matter what your current bowling ball speed... the FAT MAN bowling ball will maximize its striking power and knockdown efficiency! We’ve all spun a gyroscope and marveled at the difficulty of moving it off its axis, or turning it to the side... it seems to have a power and force of its own that goes on and on. FAT MAN harnesses this gyroscopic force in every ball. Bowling balls typically loose striking power as they divert some of your initial energy to maintain a track line down the lane. Ball really got through the heads and made a nice even snap to the pocket. When everyone else was struggling I was able to get to the hole. Seemed that if the lanes were spotty then forget it. Just never had any hitting power. But if you like playing straight up when they are freshly oiled then this ball will do the trick. I liked this ball, it is very unique and everyone, friends and fellow competitors are asking questions. With it being discontinued it is a hard find. At first i had it drilled cause it was given to my boss and he wasn't interested in the ball, it didn't fit his style. But after i had an opening in my arsenal, and watch this ball sit on the shelf for sometime my interest grew. I rolled my first 700 series with this ball and have reset all my personal bests. Twice. I rolled a 712 and 723 with the ball. I didn't like the ball at first, when i rolled it. I was rolling over the thumb hole, and didn't know why, I asked my boss why? He said the ball had a pin in and for me it isn't really good, but it was the only one we had so, he said to change the surface, i sanded at 400 and finished at 600 and then a little Clean' Dull. the ball stopped rolling over the thumbhole and improved the control of the ball. My only recomplaint is that the ball has so much power, i have faced fewer ten pins but
