Ball is very good in all lanes and lane oil conditions. I don't own one my freind does. I have thrown it once or twice when my balls over react. The ball works good until it gets hot and oily then it is very squirrelly. Very good when cold. Can't play really deep with it, because it will get out there and just die. Needs to be a bigger line of Troopers, like a Magnum Trooper, Pearl Trooper, Urethane Trooper, heck a White Dot Trooper. Hits the pocket hard but don't count on many light pocket hits because the ball will just flare off the pins. Its an alright ball, just I really can't get reaction out of it. Now a good columbia 300 ball is the Ninja.I have it now and as an experiment I tried to see whether it would hook when thrown deep. I put in to fingers and reved it up, it got out there and hooked 10 boards to barely hit the 3, this was on med head with a dry back end. I said this ball hooks better up and in.

Ball has been kept in "out of box" condition and really no use to sand/polish it. This ball will move A LITTLE when the conditions are right, and I mean very dry lanes. When you get to a tourney/league night when the lanes have fresh-heavy oil on them, forget about using this ball for anythign other than a spare ball. But what a spare ball this is! Very consistant shots with it. Truly not a strike ball unless you bowl on a dry lane, nothing else to say about the ball other than to enjoy it and not to pay more than 60-70 dollars for it.

I think that this is one of the best dry lane balls i have ever owned. It completes my arsenal and gives me the confidence to play any shot at any house. I cant wait to throw it in my next big tournament. I find that the ball carries exceptionally well when there is a little bit of a sanded finish on the ball. I was skeptical at first about buying a urethane ball, but if you are a high-rev player, you should give it some thought. One of the best balls i have ever bought. Can't beat the price.<sc
