Every Urethane (Conventional and Reactive is made by combining a liquid polyol and a liquid isocyanate to make a solid urethane polymer. Brunswick has gone back to these foundations and developed a totally new polyol, combined with a radically new Liquid Crystal Isocyanate and Additive system in order to create Activator, a new Advanced Reactive material. Activator coverstocks features a layered molecular structure that improves both coverstock durability and overall ball reaction. By design, the Activator material can be formulated to independently control the ball's traction in the oil and reaction to the dry. This ability to control the Traction/Friction Response has been used to fine tune the Activator coverstock to match up with a new Ultra-Low Rg core creating the Inferno, a ball with unparalleled characteristics from the foul line to the pit. Inferno Advantages: In the front-ends: The Inferno's Activator coverstock is cleaner through the fronts, saving more reaction for the

This ball is the hardest hitting ball I own! This ball hits so hard, sometimes it blows right by the 9 pin!! But on pocket shots, this ball takes the 10 pin down! The only real downside is that this ball can overhook way too much and sometimes can be a little inconsistant. So really all I can do is use it on specific lanes. ButI mainly use it as a back-up ball incase the lanes get a little wet. But on the flip-side, when I get on the right lanes for this ball, POWER, POWER, POWER!!! You want a ball with power and takes pins out, this is the ball you want! I can throw it sloly, and it still takes it all out! Unfortunately, all that power, comes with a price and thats leaving 9's and 4's at times. But its cool. All in all, The Inferno is a power hitter with lots of hook and a little inconsistancy, but for people who have good accuracy and consistancy, GET THIS BALL!!

well i did change the drilling on this ball and it is alot better i got it 1 inch below the left grip (im a lefty).. and it did alot better...it rolls sooner and hits harder..just as hard has my icon...its just that i need to find the right condition with this ball i believe this will be my medium oil ball since thats when it does its best...im no bum when it comes to revs i know what it can and cant do hahaha...but anyways this ball is very readable and looks awesome when it goes down the lanes with all the crazy colors.

The brunswick Inferno is another great ball in the inferno line.. it is a great compliment to my raging. The ball is drilled pin above ring cg at 12:00 with a small weight hole 7" out for a smooth more even reaction. I love this ball when the heads dry out a bit because of the pearlized coverstock give the ball the extra couple feet of length i need when the Raging checks up a bit early. Great job Brunswick with another winner cant wait for the BLAZING INFERNO!!!!!!!!!!!-- in which does any1 have a clue the the new BLAZING will hit the market?????

I played it down the 3rd board, and has a nice strong hook at the pocket.. I played it from the 30 board and used 3rd arrow as target nice overall cure if your cositent with speed and rev. assumeing u hit the target bets pin reaction.. as the lanes dryed out I stayed on the moved 1 board right and moved target to the right 3 boards and boy it came all the way back. from the first arrow I playing straight up in drying conditions more ball speed produced strikes.. very nice ball thanks for your reviews.. I never bowled from the left side of the lane before. being a stroker that is i always set up stright up the line and let it rip down the 3rd board and first arrow. but i have tryed it with the inferno and by god its sweet nice curve to the pins.and as the lanes dryed i looked like a pro hanging it out and watching with amazment that it can travel across so many boards and still have enough ball to get back and strike..

I am an Inferno fan. I have seen some many strikes that have carried with this ball that would be 8 counts with certain other balls I have. I am writing this review after shooting a 780 (235-245-300) so I may be a little to excited. But I can tell you this ball carries the pocket shot very well. I have to agree with an earlier review that says the lighter hits seem to carry really good. Since this is a Brunswick ball, they should have called it , "The Swish Zone"!!!! When this ball hits the swish zone the pins go down. Every now and then an 8 or 9 pin will stand but I believe it is no more common than any other ball out there. The only time I leave a 10 pin, other than the normal hard hitting 10 pin tap, I have done something to cause the leave. I find it hard to blame this ball for any thing I leave as it seems to carry everything. You may not knock the lights out, but even spotting conditions are even playable with this ball. Overall, I can not think of a better ball to ha

With this ball , the raging Inferno, the Columbia WOW, and the red Fuze my tournament game is stronger. This ball completed my arsenal. with thsi ball I can play anywhere on the lane and still be effective. And if you only had a choice of two balls, the inferno brothers would be my pick. These two balls complement each other. When throwing the Inferno, let your finger come out of the ball last and you will see a movement that will absolutly amaze you. with this ball I bowled a 279-290-269. while everyone else was guessing were to play I was counting my winnings....

I throw mostly "Storm" equipment so this was a BIG change for me. One of the guys I bowl with suggested this ball for the lane condition that we currently bowl on so we drilled one up. Put the pin under the fingers and at the 2-o'clock position and stacked the CG under the pin. The ball works real well on the synthetic lanes and over reacts on the wood lanes at a different house. But I bought it for one condition and it was worth the money. It ahs a good and heavy roll to the pocket and extremely good hitting power if you keep it side with the oil. If you get the ball out early (Bowler mistake) the ball makes a left turn and will not stop until you see it come back the ball return. Over all I am very satisfied with the Brunswick product. But I am still a "Storm" guy.

this was drilled with the pin on top and between my fingers with the cg kicked out. the core looks like a log, so hitting power is no problem with the combination of that and the activator cover stock, the aggression of this ball is incredible. if you r fortuate enough to get one of these balls, make sure you find oil for it. it's clean through the fronts, saving more reaction for the back-ends. This provides improved hitting power and back-end recovery while reducing sensitivity to breakdown in front-end lane conditions and lane surfaces that are less than ideal. With its high-gloss finish the Inferno matches up well on medium to oily lane conditions.

This ball and the raging inferno are the best combination of balls out there. Shot 675 with it on Friday and 700 last night with it. Hits very hard and you dont leave very many corner pins only 2 for me last night. Keep up the great work brunswick!!!! This ball is also very forgivable. A few times I pulled the ball a couple of boards and this ball held this ball is unbelievable, might have to change my favorite ball section in my profile from the Zone X High Differential to Inferno. Seems to be very versatile also not very many scratches on it at all and still hits very hard and I got over 50 games on it.
