Every Urethane (Conventional and Reactive is made by combining a liquid polyol and a liquid isocyanate to make a solid urethane polymer. Brunswick has gone back to these foundations and developed a totally new polyol, combined with a radically new Liquid Crystal Isocyanate and Additive system in order to create Activator, a new Advanced Reactive material. Activator coverstocks features a layered molecular structure that improves both coverstock durability and overall ball reaction. By design, the Activator material can be formulated to independently control the ball's traction in the oil and reaction to the dry. This ability to control the Traction/Friction Response has been used to fine tune the Activator coverstock to match up with a new Ultra-Low Rg core creating the Inferno, a ball with unparalleled characteristics from the foul line to the pit. Inferno Advantages: In the front-ends: The Inferno's Activator coverstock is cleaner through the fronts, saving more reaction for the

this ball is the devils child i tell you. I got this ball drilled skid flip with the pin above the ring finger. When i got it i could play 3-4 arrow with it and swing it out to 5 and have it come back. But 2 games later.....im playing 2nd arrow straight up. The ball has a bad UNDER reaction. if you dont hit straight up 10 every shot....your screwed. I couldnt swing the ball from 10 to 8. It wouldnt come back. and every once in a while that it did come back, it hit liek a LITTLE GIRL! its pin action is HORRIABLE. i have left so many dang 7 pins and 8-10's its unreal. the only thing i liek about it was i shot 300 with it by playing straight up 10. This ball was 1 and done

I never really liked this ball had no luck with it. in oil it went too long even though it was drilled to go early on the dry shot it would dig then die. i sold the ball and the next guy didnt like it either then he sold it and this guy has had moderate success. i just think this ball is way over rated to inconsistent. didn't hoook near as much as i would have liked. it did however hit fairly descent. but i do know many people who have had much luck with this ball. but most of them were down and in players no high rev power players. <sc

This ball is quite possibly the best ball ever made. For real! Everyone that I've seen throw this ball wacks the pins. I have it laid out in a negative barbell drilling. It gets down the lane with ease, and has a nice hard even arcing roll on the backend. My first three series with this ball were all above 750! Including a 803, 300! This ball has no clue what carrydown means either. This ball is the best all around ball for any player out there. Any layout works not very many balls are that versatile. This ball is a must for any tournament bowler.

My overall review on the brunswick inferno is that its a great all-around ball for no matter what the lane conditions. Whether its medium or oily. I would reccomend it to anyone except slow speed bowlers because it revs up quikly and will get squirrely if u dont keep your speed up. But i have had many balls and this is the best one yet. I know its not the newest or most high tech ball on the market but i suggest you give it a try. Its great and fun to use. i threw a 268 and 235 the first day with it. kep up the good worl brunswick!!!

I drilled mine with the pin at two o'clock because I have not had a brunswick ball for a long time and I wasn't sure what to expect from this different ball. Coverstock is like none that I have ever encountered. This ball seems to react stronger with more oil on the lane and less with less oil on the lane. If i would give this ball a prefered lane condition I would say the sport condition. Just because this ball will not do anything funny and keep you out of trouble. But you must have some backend. Have drilled some off lable and the reaction multiplies so be careful.

This ball was a great ball for the first one hundred games. After that the ball did not hit as hard or hook as much. When polished the ball goes longer and snaps harder. When dull the ball had more of an even but stronger arc to it. Surface did not matter for the ball much. Did not carry any back row pins often. Had lots of area with it's first one hundred games. After that it died basically. The ball did what it was supposed to for a while but now it does nothing. The ball needed fresh oil or would not work right.

15lbs, 2-3" Pin, Drilled 5x4 Small weight hole on PAP Check my profile for style. This is such a great ball, It gets through the heads very well, and has a strong and continuous backend move, But no flippy. On flying backends the Inferno is very controlable, kepping it in play longer. And the carrys great as with all Brunswicks. But it doesn't like much carrydown and too much burnt heads. I have had two, drilled em differently and got two different reactions(Both great of course) I really believe that there is a spot in everyones bag for this ball. GO, Go buy one now. And drill it how ever you want because with every drilling you get different reactions. Good Bowlin, Joe<sc

Wow, when my friend recommended this ball, I didn't think it was this good. I'm a decent bowler, i guess, about 175avg. My first series with this ball, I shot a 642. I almost shat my pants. The ball has GPS, it must. I would miss 3 boards right, and the same blistering strike would occur. I would miss 7 boards left and same result. I love it. This ball is amazing and I would recommend it to any kind of a bowler. I'm more of a stroker with avg. revs, but I throw it pretty slow, so this ball gave me the nice easy hook I was looking for in a ball. It doesn't overskid the heads, and has good readability in the mid lane. I love it and picks up every light hit. Get this ball

Has brought my average up and if I would have started to use this ball at the start of the season my average would be over a 210 instead of a 197 like it is now. I tried a Storm Trauma that my buddy has and that ball and the Inferno act a lot alike. Since the Trauma was discontinued, I opted for this Inferno and am not regretting my decision at all. The bolwing alley starts out to as medium to heavy oil and will work great then and as the night goes on. I would recommend this ball to anyone looking to use a ball that allows for some error in throwing, gets great pin action, and allows control over a variety of oil patterns.
