AMF Black Cobra Bowling Ball

(1 review) Write a Review

When the Cobra is unleashed, no pin is safe. The Cobra tracks its prey with incredible precision, and penetrates the pocket with lethal force.

That's because its two piece construction offers a strike-coil weightblock developed through computer design. A strike coil that delivers power and drive at the moment of impact. The Cobra's shell contains 71% more urethane for less pin deflection and smoother release. What's more, the Cobra will do its stuff whether it's been drilled with standard or advanced techniques.

So if you're ready for a ball that's different from the rest of the species, get your hands on a Cobra. And don't worry, With AMF's name on it, you won't be bitten.

So here we are, the last night of our 3 man league and my team is competing to stay out of last place. I use my costly morich WMB II and notice that the lanes are taking many chunks and scrapes out of it. After my 1st game is over (180), I tell the management, they say they will look into it but the decision is mine for now, so I decided to bowl on with a house ball. I grab this old Cobra off the rack and the rest is history. I roll a 258, 221 with it for a 659 series and wonder of all wonders, we end up tying for last/next to last and splitting the monies for those 2 spots. Nothing fancy, I moved a board or two to the right, piped this old urethane cobra up the boards and it hit dead flush most times crushing the rack. I don't think I even left 1 ten pin at all with it, shows how effective the simple, symmetrical, and venerable lightbulb core can be, eh? And While my $220 Morich ball looked like Mike Tyson after fighting Lennox Lewis, the Cobra didn't hardly have a scratch on it f
