Yes, that's right... I bowled a 295 (darn it). This ball is supposed to be for oil, but I was on super dry lanes that night. My plastic ball was even moving too much. I had to move waaaaaay left and change my hand position for a lower axis-tilt. Oh boy, it hits wonderfully. It's early, constant, driving arc allows you to move right when there's oil and it will miss the carrydown when the track area is fried. While everyone else's balls are over-under, this ball does the job in my league, completely missing the carrydown that is causing everyone else grief. Highly under-rated ball!<scri

Great ball with a look reminiscent of balls of the 80's: Ball easily skids through the heads, goes into a nice heavy roll in the midlane, and hooks right through the rack. The cover tunes easily; a scotch brite is all you will need to adjust the cover for extremly oily conditions. This is my first ball out of the bag for all of leagues; it reads the lane condition right away. My ball is drilled label with pin above & between both finger & MB slightly right of my thumb. 1/4 finger & 1/4 side weight. Thanks to Jerry Francomano of Texas Station for this great ball & fit. I will be purchasing a second Max witha weaker drilling & for drier conditions.

well i bought this ball for 100 and this guy said, hey why dont i drill it to go long since you dont have a ball that does that. i said sure, plus i needed something to replace my blaze. well this ball goes pretty long and snaps....hard. i also really dont like how the ball rolls up either., but normally i dont when i have a ball drilled up to go long. well this ball seems pretty choosy on the line it needs to play. normally when i try to swing it it wont quite get there but when i try to play straighter it also jumps. i know this is a good ball, but the drilling isnt really for me

Conditions : Pin 3",Top 2-3/4oz , 15.3 lbs I drilled it as a label levarage pattern.A small balance hole on PAP to reduce differential within half oz. This ball combines the best condition that gave me a couple strike strings in first 6 games that I just drilled. I can play no matter first arrow, second arrow of third arrow...Inside angle to outside angle. This ball just do what suppose to do.Not disappoint me on ANY SHOT.I bowled a 722 for first 3 games.Really nice stuff that AMF created for recently. You need to have a strike machine for med-heavy oil pattern. And Maximum Velocity shall lead you to achieve another mile stone of your bowling history. Don't miss it. Have it today!!<

MY OVER ALL THOUGHT ON THIS BALL IS THAT IT IS A KEEPER IN THE BAG ADN I WILL BE DRILLING ANOTHER UP BECAUSE OF THE MOTION IT MAKES THROUGH THE LANE AND DOESNT QUIT LIKE A LOT OF SOLID BALLS. I DRILLED THIS BALL WITH THE PIN ABOVE MY FINGERS WITH NO HOLE AND HAS 1/2 SIDE WEIGHT, BALL IS SUPER CLEAN. I KEEP THE BALL SURFACE POLISHED CONTINUALLY TO KEEP A CONSISTANT LOOK AND REACTION TO IT. IT SEEMS TO BURN A BIT ON SYNTHETIC SURFACES SO KEEP AN EYE ON IT. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO DRILLING ANOTHER ONE OF THESE BEAUTIES BECAUSE OF THE GREAT ROLL AND I WANT TO GIVE MY SELF A DIFFERENT LOOK AND MAYBE GIVE ME A LITTLE MORE POP ON THE BACK WITH A BIT OF SURFACE.
