This ball does not have a good roll, it is a AMF ball, drives too hard at the very end causing ten pins like up the yin-yang, can only be used at the very beginning of very heavily oiled tournaments for about 5 frames---what's to like about this ball? I laugh when I hit fast turns in my car because I know that the ball is back there flying and bouncing off of my trunk. I should destroy it but it doesn't even deserve to be honored by destroying it. If you have bought this ball, you might as well throw it away now unless you are used to throwing the ball hard and with little spin

This ball holds its ground, but likes to bite too hard at the end. leaves a lot of 10's and 8's for me because im left handed. often unpredictable. i average 225 now in league play and this ball would surely bring my average down 30 pins plus. im use to throwing a ball that has a nice smooth arch and continues through the pocket. this ball has nice smooth movement down the lane, then it hits the oil continues into its roll and just before it hits the pins it speeds up into another gear and over hooks. this ball is primarilly a junk ball that i use for decoration. its over aggressive movement to the pocket got me into trouble time and time again.

I HAD THE SAME INITIAL PROBLEM WITH CARRYING 10 PINS. THEN I FOUND THE ANSWER. IF YOU START LEAVING 10'S, THAT IS FROM BLOWBACK. I STARTED AN EARLIER RELEASE, GOT THE BALL ROLLING EARLIER AND NOW I EVEN CARRY WEAK TEN'S. WILL LEAVE A 9 NOW AND THEN, BUT WHO CARES. UNLESS YOU ARE OVER REV'ING, ITS AN AMAZING BALL. I WENT FROM 40 FT OIL, TO CARRY DOWN IN THE SECOND GAME, TO DEAD DRY IN THE 3RD, AND STILL HAD GREAT REACTION. ONLY LEFT 4 TEN'S THE WHOLE NITE. HAD BACK TO BACK 690 SERIES OUT OF THE BOX WITH THIS BALL.

I got this ball because I wanted a ball with more backend and more power through the pocket. The ball breaks nice but it is very unforgiving. Once it thouches a dry board it takes off across the head pin. Unfortunately despite the big backend this ball has no power in the pocket. I constantly am leaving a 10 pin. No matter what adjustment I make a can't run my strikes. Maybe because it is a 15 not a 16 pound ball but I see others with 15 pound balls that carry alot better then this ball. The price was good but it was wasted because I had to get a different ball. After 50 games with this ball a finally gave up and put it back in the box. This was my second AMF ball and maybe my last. I just expected more power and carry then I got.

The carry percentage on this ball is simply amazing. If you get the ball anywhere near the pocket, you will strike! The ball has a 3-4 inch pin and is drilled with pin in the middle of my ring/index fingers. The CG is located straight below on my grip line. This allows me to play a nice arcing shot from the 3rd/4th arrow out to the break point. The ball has a nice controlled back-end and is not a bit flippy. I use the ball for my 3 game set and rarely have to move or adjust. I purchased this ball on a whim because I needed something for heavier oil. I couldn't be happier with this choice. The only other AMF equipment I have used was the Whiplash and I also like that ball. I'm not a fan of pearlized equipment, but would purchase a pearl version of this ball.

Had this ball about 2 months and i cant honestly find anythin to complain about it does exactly what AMF have said it will do. I had this ball drilled with a leverage drilling so it would produce the maximum reaction and have a good role and carry into the pins and alow me 2 play 11/12 bored on heavy oil (im not much of a cranker lol) I resurfaced this ball 2 a 1200 grit hand finish and it hooks so much more thn a box finish, but goes a little longer. I have found tht it is the perfect partner 2 my AMF-Triumph AMP when the lane drys out 2 much 4 this ball and it starts burnin up i just pick up my AMP and bowl the same line as before. This is a very good ball by AMF and works really well on heavy oiled lanes, but if u do have an agressive drilling on it like I did dont try and use it on lighter oil because it will tend 2 burn up!<

Quite a ball. I own the Velocity, just bought the Max Velocity, and I bought this ball several months ago. It's a hooking machine. DO NOT use on medium or dry oil lanes as it will break too much. If you are shooting on heavy oil or a sport shot, or something similar - this ball should be the one you take out there. This is the only ball I've never been able to adjust to and not control well on medium oil! I normally play 2nd arrow, but I have to go beyond that on a house shot. This ball could give you a great edge on a more complicated, oiled down shot.

As advertised, this ball is clean through the heads and rolls up early. I've used this mainly on medium oiled conditions and shot 828 on Thanksgiving night with it. This ball handles carrydown with ease and it more controllable than one might think. If your looking for power and control, you won't be disappointed. I've used this ball on synthetics and wood this ball matches up well on both. I would like to see how this ball would handle a tougher tourney shot because on a house shot this ball can't be beat. I was the biggest critic of AMF, however, this ball has made me a believer.<scrip

If you are looking for a more consistant ball that has tremendous hook potential this is your ball. For people who don't have the rev rate to get the big hook with your normal ball, you need this ball you can get the most hook without sacrificing your normal delivery. I was bowling with a new Track Arsenal Reactive and was looking for more hook without going to an asymetrical weight block, I decided on the Termial Velocity because the weight block was symetrical and it had a particle coverstock. You can't go wrong with this ball if you can hit the pocket. This ball will definitely increase your score.

I threw this ball for the first time last night and it was great. I am a very middle of the road bowler and my last league AVG. was a 161, My all time high avg. was 175. Well last night I threw 11 games with this ball and I had an AVG of 191 with 3 of those games over 210. My all time high was 245 and 3 games last night I started with 5 in a row, but got caught up in the excitment, and opened the 6th everytime. Another friend of mine who is a 200 bowler rolled back to back 230's and now he wants to buy my ball. I recomend this ball to everyone.
