(2 reviews) Write a Review
The Code produces a powerful, forgiving mid-lane ball path motion with a continuous arcing reaction at the breakpoint. The new AMF CodePlus™ Reactive coverstock provides the traction, while the new core design provides the motion for outstanding performance with control.

The NEW AMF Code is a great addition to the AMF family. It seems to be a Heist on steroids. It revs up fairly easy just as the Heist did but the difference is in the hard arc/flip the Code creates when it hits dry! This ball is awesome on a fresh house shot or drier backends. The ball - a hybrid solid and pearl - is easily adjustable. If surface is needed the ball, with it's lower RG, revs up hard and has more control in this state. Out of the box watch out for flying headpins!! The pin action is impressive. This is a great medium to dry lane ball for sure. I have 2 - one drilled with a 5" pin and another stacked leverage with 2000 abralon. They both do what's needed and more. Give this one a try. It's a hard-hitter on the lanes and not in your wallet!! Had the ball out a couple of times and was fairly successful .. thought I'd try it at a different Center. During practice, using my comfortable line of starting on 5, the ball was hitting the 2 pin (I'm righty). Threw three frames on both allies and all had same results. When the league started I threw my first ball from 20 and blew the pins away. Stayed that way for three games and the ball stayed consistent. Had it NOT been UN-COMFORTABLE for me I would have had a LIGHTS OUT series .. but I didn't always get the ball out like I had too .. always left makeable spares so that was a good thing. Shot 643 with the ball and was using a different line then usual. Although my previous experience with the ball was and arc motion to the pocket this set had the ball SNAPPING at the end. Because the action was consistent I was able to keep the ball under control. I've gotten two excellent actions from the ball an ARC and a SNAP .. both times it was controlable and repetitive! Like m
