This is by far the most forgivng ball out there! I can play down the boards, slight swing, or crank the snot out of it and carry the house. If your in the pocket, you can turn your back on it because it's ten in the pit! Trust me, I've thrown them all and this monster is the real deal. Don't get me wrong, its not the biggest hooker out there but it is the most versatile ball on the market today. Take my word for it, add it to your arsenal and it will soon be first and only ball out of your bag - 2nd thought - don't buy it - keep your Storms, Hammers, etc and just hand me your money! Have a nice day...

I stopped using Brunswick because I have a problem with them outsourcing to Mexico, even though I really really liked my old Blazing Inferno (which is American made) so I tried AMF, and I am sold. I now have 3 AMF balls, the Heist was the first one, and I love them because so many people wont give AMF a chance for some reason. Their loss! . Performance wise about the Heist, this ball makes me look good. The best part so far is it has not soaked up oil like some of my other balls have. I do clean them with Storm Reactaclean within 24 hours of use though.

Great ball. Hits very hard and carries like a mack truck. I Have not thrown AMF in a long time. This ball is a carry monster. If you hit the 1-3 pocket your carry is 95% of the time. Has just the right amount of hook to it. Recommend to everyone!! Amf is coming back up in the ball industry with this one. Need to make moreballs with this same weight core. It is good polished or with a dull finish. The way the core is tilted causes this ball to move just right on the backend. I have not seen this core in a ball in a very long time.

I contacted Rotogrip about how to drill my Cell, they suggested placing the Pin under & 4 inch's from my 3.5 PAP and placing the Cg & 45 degree's and that the Cell would handle playing from deep inside lines with my Low Track, well they were Wrong! After reading Joe Falco's Post on the Heist and viewing the Video of this ball, I quickly dumped the Cell and bought a 14 Lbs. Heist & drilled it Pin Below the bridge and placed the Cg below, the NIB surface made the Heist a little squirty on heavier oil, the next day, I sanded it 1000 Abralon only! I have 15 games on this ball and have shot no lower than 219 & it get's down the lane with ease, then it makes a Hard Sweeping arc to the hole and retains a ton of energy, Dang I wish I bought this ball instead of the Over Hyped Cell!

I had this ball drilled pin above fingers 5" from pap and CG swung out 2" from pap to tame it a little but could have drilled it more aggressively. This drill gives me great length and a big move to the pocket playing 15 to 8. It is strong enough to handle the swamp inside and can play up the boards with minor hand changes. The carry is phenomenal as pins explode on contact and the headpin bird-dogs almost everytime even though its rarely needed. This ball will perform its job no matter your style; crankers, strokers, tweeners, even spinners will find the pocket and benefit from its power. Give this AMF a try - I don't think anyone will be dissappointed.

We got The Heist test ball and I was eager to drill it up. I laid it out with the pin 4 5/8" from my PAP and 1 5/8" above the midline of my grip, and the CG 3 5/8" from my axis. I left it in box finish (1000 Abralon with light compound). On our house shot The Heist was very surprising. I was able to play every part of the lane with nothing more than a hand position adjustment. The ball motion was as predictable as it comes. The one thing that stood out to me most was the hitting power from various angles. No matter what part of the lane I was in, pins continued to fly around. This seems to be a great go-to ball that would fit many bowlers styles. It won't out-hook most of the ball market, but will give you something to dig you out of a hole. Sure to be a winner from the newest version of AMF. Any questions, please call me at the shop, 1-877-BOWL-PRO -Tim

Got this ball drilled with the pin 3 and a bit" from the PAP next to the ring finger with a weight hole on the grip center line past the PAP. This ball is incredible at reading the lanes. If there is too much friction, it jumps and leaves something nasty. If there is too much oil, it skids way too far. On medium oil, this is one of the most consistent, powerful strike balls that I've ever thrown. The over-under reacting on more extreme lane conditions give an accurate idea of what equipment change you should make- this ball also is affected by carrydown. This is the ultimate reader ball and on medium oil house shots or sport shots it is consistent and powerful. Simply excellent, highly recommended.

I had chance to drill up the Heist AMF's first ball under 900 Global's watch and this one does not disappoint. While most balls released are all about backend this one seems to be about good roll, easy use and high scores! A blast from the past you might say, this balls reminds me of a Red Pulse on steroids. It is a revy, rolly ball that hooks on oil and calms down fresh backends. I punched one up with a longer pin, good top and i kept it simple. Pin up at 12 o'clock over the fingers, small hole. Left it in the box finish - i wanted to see what it was suposed to do. This one revs up, rolls in the midlane and has a good move to the hole. It hooks more than you think because it wants to hook the whole time it's on the lane. You might not see a huge backend but it's made it to the 1-3 and has blown them off the deck! Good oiler, good carry. Don't let the burgandy color fool you, this one is no sissy! Could be the sleeper of the year! Thanks AMF. Joe Arvai IV 900 Global Am

My ball is drilled as defined in the drill sheets as LEVERAGE-ARC! I'm using it on MEDIUM OIL. I am partial to AMF balls but believe me when I tell you this ball is GREAT! What they did to make the product better I don't know but it sure paid off .. the ball rolled in an ARC and it was consistent all night .. same path ..predictable! Many of you are looking to try a NEW BALL .. TRY THIS ONE you will be HAPPY! I was impressed with the hitting power of another manufacturer but this ball surpresses that company!
