very good ball with high strike percentage, very forgiving if you do not hit strike zone flush. it goes long and hooks in at the end. excellent ball at a great value since it is a discontinued ball. it is definetely a high performance ball. does not leave 7s or 10s as much. very powerful ball. best hitting ball i have thrown in my 10 years of bowling.i would recommend this ball for medium to heavy oily lanes. it does not pick up oil at all on heavy oily lanes, in three games that i bowled, i did not cleaned it once.

I just Love this ball it is the first amf ball i've tried and i'm very impressed. The ball get up the lanes and give you great bvack end and hits like a runaway train. The ball keeps the pins low so you get better carry. I think they made it better then they think cause i have used it on many conditions and had had great success. The only negative thing i can think of it can be a little speed sensetive. Now if the only thing you have to do is keep your speed up it should not be that much to remember. Look i liked the ball so much i had to get two. If you try it you buy two also. The ball is that good you want this in you arsenal.

Overall this is a very versitile ball. I have two of them with different layouts. The only difference is on one the pin is above the fingers and the other is below. Both have the CG kicked out about 60 degrees. The one with the pin above the fingers rolls a little sooner with strong backend. The other gets down the lane easily with a mild backend reaction. You must find the dry for this ball. From what I have seen this ball is better for higher rev and higher ball speed players. If you have slower ball speeds you will have to have some mid-lane oil. This ball got better the more I used it. At first I didn't like it. After about 50-60 games is when it really came alive.

Got one and threw it 10 games on after league condition lanes. Ball finds the pocket easily but is somewhat speed sensitive, forgiving at the least. The ball hits great and carry percentage was high. Hit the pocket from any angle and it strikes almost always, even with a soft hit, which I found to be amazing. First 2 games I played down and in 2nd arrow and the ball was very predictable. As lane conditions wear down I was able to swing it out and it would come back to find the pocket. The path and arc seems similar to my older Brunswick Raging Red Fuze in my opinion, but hits much stronger. Haven't had a chance to throw it on fresh league condition but am excited to. Very satisfied overall for it's striking power.

This ball is everything the Velocity should have been but wasn't. As good a ball as the Velocity was, it was limited in that it needed a dry board somewhere to get it to continue and it retained alot of energy down the lane causing the pins to fly a little higher than normal. Probably around 4" off the deck. With the Radar, it does what the Supreme Justice balls do so well. That is keep the pins low on the deck where they can hit other pins. The difference between the Supreme Justice Pearl and the Radar is the Radar makes its move about 2-3 feet later before the core faces the pins. AMF manages to create tremendous roll in the mid-lane and still gets continuous motion. This is a great great ball! The best ball from anyone in probably 2 years.

Drilled the Radar with a 4 1/2 inch pin to pap above fingers cg 3 1/2 from pap and a small deep balance hole low. For me out of the box, because I am a tweener of sorts the ball tend to push too far through the mid lane. So I took the ball to a trip to the spinner and applied a 1000 abralon pad to it. This did the trick. The read I gained in the mid lane was exactly what I was looking for. This ball always seems to turn the corner and hit. I notice when I throw a shot that looks like a half ten down the lane the ball still slaps the ten out. If you are looking to replace the Velocity or Max velocity don't hesitate to drill a Radar or two. With the all new Tower core this ball definitely turns the corner harder than any other AMF300 ball in the current line up. Because the ball is so clean through the heads it will definitely be a medium oil ball, which makes it very versatile seeing that in todays lane environments, hooking balls can only be used so long before burning too early. I can

A few weeks back I drilled up this ball, used a 31/2 by 3 drilling. Even though the ball is pearl I wanted it to be sooner than some of my other equipment that has 5 inch pin to PAP drillings. One of the centers I am bowling in has been heavliy over walled with carry down and wanted a miss in to still react. I am very happy with this ball, the new Tower core is a winner in my book I can't wait for more equipment with this core to release. The Radar is stronger overall than my Velocity was( which is one of my favorites). It is more continuous in the back end , and mixes the pins very well. Reminds me somewhat of the Maximum Velocity. If you want a ball that is clean through the head and strong and continuous on the back end get a Radar.
