Drilled this up high-track, Pin position 1 - under the ring, MB postion 2 - just right of thumb (righty). Balance hole 2" from PAP. I've got about 30 games on the ball at the time I write this. My only real gripe with the ball is that it's just a little 'peaky' when it comes to conditions. When it's on, it's incredible. The ball should be illegal on an easy house shot. Anyone can score with it. When it's 'not exactly on', I have to come back down to earth and work it a bit (like we should have to do). I have not had much success using the ball on heavier patterns. People with more hand would probably beg to differ. The core is an incredible design. I was a little skeptical at first, but it'll do exactly what you ask of it. Come straight up the back of the ball, and it'll barely move and you can pick off 10's no problem. The more you come around it, the bigger backend you'll have. It's that easy. Standing left foot between 35-25, I can play anywhere between the s

This was my first asymetric core ball purchase and I needed something special for the heavyoil lanes. The ball is special but it's not for heavyoil, at least not if you're a cranker! I first tried it out with the massbias at #1 postition and box finnish but it just spunn out of orbit into eampty space. Aiming straight to the pocket didn't do no good since it hit like a marshmallow. So changed layout to massbias position #3 and sanded the ball but still, in heavy oil, it just didn't do the work. Sure, reducing the speed, movin to the inside and givin it lot of time and lane to rev up, the balls engine works, even on medium oil since once it gets started it never stops. I already have balls for the medium lanes so i sold it of and went for the lower RG Mutant instead. The buyer who plays with lesser revs and speed, is very satisfied with my used Freak and gets a tremendous hook.

It is a very good bowling ball for swing it or shooting down and in. I have had a few shots hit the head pin and get strikes. I have my highest series a 646 with 193,256,197. I also have my highest game with it a 256. I was a 158 bower and now a 175 and still improving my average. Great hooking and backend reaction. I have it drilled so it would have more lengh than hook. For dry lanes do not move left, move right and begin moving the ball so you can play down and in to the one three pocket. This is my second bowling ball from Track. My first ball from track was the Track Enforcer. I hope that Track can kept up the great work.<scr

I love this ball I struggled with it when i first got it but since then i have raised my average from about 196 to 210. It is a ball for heavy oiled lanes but be careful if you clean it with alcohol it seems to suck it up like water... When throwing the ball it seems that if you can throw it from 35 to about the 2 to 5 boards your shot will carry most of the time but if you start coming higher than that in the pocket you are just asking for 8 and 9 pins laughing in your face all day.

This ball has been my weapon of choice for a good number of months now and i love it more and more with every roll. Since ive had the Freak i have won singles in city tournament where i live and placed 3rd in tkos that i started doing just this year. This ball always manages to find away to the pocket and hit so hard that the pins just die. To have this ball work right you have to pretty much be a person that turns it up with more speed because if you turn it up and slow your speed you will find yourself in the left gutter. This ball is still the best ball out on the market and thats all i can say. TRACK FREAK #1 ball in America.

this ball i believe is the best for my game! Not since the black rhino, I've felt so comfortable making shot after shot! After ajusting the surface from box to polished, it just FREAKED ME OUT! This ball should be in the Hall of Fame! It has gotten better. After averaging 190 starting out, now i'm shooting 650 or better each time i hit the lanes! The Spec's of this ball: weight 15.2 lbs top weight 3.0 3" pin stacked leverage. I've found for my style of bowling that I needed a dull surface ball! Now since I've polished it up I'm averaging better and being more consistance scoring.

I give the ball a good reviw It is one of the best balls on the market right now. Since I got thae ball that is the only ball that I use . Believe me the people knows that I used to change balls on the last game but now since I got the freak I have only sot under my average only 1 time and have Had the ball for a month. I tlaked my dad into getting a freak and his ball and my ball are drilled totally different and we both still love the ball. It is one of the best balls that track has made and since they made this ball and I like it There on my list of one of the best bowling ball companies on the market.

The first time I threw this monster I Stood there shock and amazed. The amount of hook and hiting power is simply amazing!! I have some positive side weight on this baby and at times I have to put this one on the spinner with alot of polish. Have alot of different balls and this is for sure the #1 go to ball for me. My buddy tuned me on to this monster and I saw him throw it and I simply fell in love with this Hope this one stay's around for awhile. If it dries out or the heads are burnt LEAVE THIS IN THE BAG. UPDATE!!! You must keep this thing clean!!!Make sure to wipe clean after every League/Torney before you put in bag. and bake the oil out sometimes keeps this baby just as good as the day you got it......

After the first month of throwing this ball, I thought it sucked, plain and simple. This ball would not do what everyone else in the world said theirs was doing. I then took off the factory polish and wetsanded to 600 grit and put some Doc's Magic Bowling Ball Elixir on it. Well, that gave this ball a different personality. The ball is drilled leverage, pin, cg and mass bias all in an equal line to the right of fingers and thumb. The ball now moves alot more but still not as much as advertised. This ball is also NOT for heavier oil patterns. Med/Heavy at best. My thursday night league puts out 24' of heavy oil and buffs to what seems like the pin deck. I have tried to play every line on the lane and this ball just wont move. I could probably shoot 10 pins with it on this condition. I throw the ball avg speed with good revs and nothing!! Overall, I say this is a very good ball, just condition specific for me. Could be a bit more aggressive, but I guess that is what the new Track Mutant

Overall this ball will do what you want it to do. It takes a while to get used to the break, but the finish on the backend is what so pretty. I recommend this ball for serious bowlers, who likes to shoot on medium - heavy oil. Stay away from dry lane condition with this ball unless you want to use it to shoot at the seven pin. This ball would be great for crankers who like their balls to hit the pocket hard on the backend, and you get a decent shot for those who like to shoot up the first arrow.

I'd heard some mixed reviews when this ball came out, so I waited until I learned my Freak Out well enough to be comfortable with it before trying my hand at the original. HAd this one drilled just like my Freak Out, with the pin just over the ring finger.thought it was just okay until I encountered the swamps that I'd been waiting for....OH my GOD!!!I had a feeling this thing would grip through the oil where my Freak Out would slide into the channel, but never did I think it would grip and drive with that much power. It may actually hit harder in it's respective conditions than my Freak Out, but that's just my opinion. I don't know if I'd recommend this line of balls for anyone who plays down and in with any kind of power behind the ball, but I will say for anyone who likes to crank it up, the Freak line is defintely one to keep in mind when shopping for something new.

Really outstanding ball. Put it right from the box into league play. My mass chaos wasnt finishing in one of the houses i just started to bowl at. They oil all the way down. The freak rolled right through the oil and gave me a 200, 227, and 259 for a 686. i have a 187 avg. in that house. In its debut at my usual monday house i threw a 243, 278, and 226 for a 747. (201 avg.) No practice needed. I really recommend this ball. It takes out the ten pin with ease. (rt handed). Really sticks to the pocket. Track has really come a long way with this one.

took a little while to get use to the ball. but this ball is doing what they said it would do. if lanes dry out a little just use a little more muscle. not that big of a deal.use to be a stong believer in brunswick balls no longer.ball does not need that much cleaning . track recommends using magic shine. i purchased a bottle. and works great. keep going track balls are becoming more competive.also play great on wood. balls comes off fingers nice a smooth. if you make a mistake it is forgiving. once again best ball i've bought in a while. got to get the wife one now also.

I put the Detonator in the bag and brought a Freak. Average up to 195. Don't be fooled by all the Storm balls in the best 10 balls. The Freak and Freak Out are two of the best out there. I WANNA GET FREEEAKKY WITH YOU!!!!!! Can be used for lanes that are medium to heavy oil. However if you can speed it up you might be able to throw it on broken down conditions. Carries high and light hits. Sometimes leaves a 10 only due to how powerful it can hit. I'm a stroker so I can't say how a cranker would like it. Drilled pin next to ring finger pap just off center, balance hole drilled to make it legal. I'm no drilling expert so I can't tell you more. If you find it's getting uncontrollable get a Freak Out it will be a perfect compliment. The only balls that i will ever buy again will be factory spun. MO Pinel advised on this ball... You will not be unhappy.

I could not believe this ball when I first threw it. I tried my Response first to see how much hook i could get out of it, and then I threw the Freak right after to compare. All I can say is WOWY WOW WOW!!! It hooked so much that it barely clipped the 2 pin on the left side. I moved farther and farther left and found myself throwing a wide, smooth arc. This is what I have always been wanting from a particle ball, and even when I throw it too wide, it still comes back and hits the pocket. I've learned from watching AwsomeLeftyXXX that I should only use this ball for one purpose, tournaments. I don't want to burn the ball up too soon and end up having to buy another because I used it on 4 days of practice and league each week, and tournaments every other week. So right now, its outta the bag.

i saw del warren speak about the freak series in october. he explained certian ways to drill the asymetrical core. it is also is nice that track spin the mass bias to perfection. so i got one and drilled it up 31/2 by41/2 with the pin to the right and down of the finger. first time i threw it i knew it was going to be a great ball for medium to heavy oil pattern. when this ball hits the break point it rolls right through the pin deck. the only bad thing about the ball as with any heavy oil ball ,when the heads dry up its hard to control. over all this ball is setting a standard for everyone else to follow and the others are trying to follow. this ball got me back on the track wagon

My Freak was 16lbs with a pin out of 2-3" and it was drilled pin over the ring finger with the MB placed in the strong position. I bowled with this ball on Brunswick Anvilane synthetics and it showed a good reaction playing slide foot on 25 out to 10 on a fresh shot. I wouldn't recommend using this ball on second shifts, or dry heads, or worn out wood lanes. The Freak is too aggressive and you'll end up picking off the corner pins on each lane. From my experience the ball died super fast from scotchbrite and 225+ games in less than a year. I tried my best to keep it clean but maybe the particles were too big????? After that experience I am hesitant about purchasing another piece of Del Warren's equipment.

This ball is awsome in every sense of the word. If you are looking for a ball that will work on anything but dry lanes, this is the ball for you. You pretty much have to throw it harder with more revs on it and if you slow ur speed at all it will take off on you. This is a ball pretty much for a person that swings it because its to hard to play down the boards unless the lanes are completely flooded. So in my opinion the best ball on the market is the one that i am righting about Tracks Freak!<s

This ball is better than the Money ball which I have right now and I thought that could not ever be possible. This ball has already changed my outlook on the rest of my bowling career and I am only 17! This ball can roll to the outside and hook more than 5 boards more than my trademarked Money bowling ball. This ball has it all! Finese and everything you would ever want in a ball to begin with and it won't dull like those other balls that you take home and 3 months later a plastic ball will break more than it. This ball is in a league of its own and it will not be challenged by any other balls! Not even Columbia's Icon and Icon 2! This ball can out react both of those balls even after both of the Icons would be sanded or polished for optimal hook to the pocket. Overall, I think that this ball will see its way into the bags of league players and most likely professionals on the PBA and PWBA tours. You aren't a Freak until you own this ball!

this is one of the best heavy oil balls on the market. backend is unbelieable. the pin action is great. it goes long and at last second clears the pins of the lane. very happy with this ball. medium oil still hits pretty well. dry lanes are horrible for this ball unless you can really slow it down. be prepared to pick up spares on a dry lane. i seen some really great games with this ball and first game out of box was a 229 which is not bad considering never throwing it before. would really suggest having this ball in your arensal

Wow! Is all I can say about the covestock and the ball reaction I get from the Freak. I love using the freak and getting my freak on, play on word if you will. Works best on blended patterns but ok on top hat conditions. On a top hat condtion Moving in deep and getting around the corner is no problem. On a blended condition I like starting the night using the Freak and if for some reason I start getting a funky midlane reaction I switch to my Voo Doo. The ball carries well with minimum to mild carry down when playing straight up the lane or with no more than 10 board head belly (swing) . Well worth my investment. Now go out and get yourself a Freak and get your freak on! Caution when using the freak, your liable to get that song in your head "Get your freak on" for the rest of your bowling night.
