Overall I really enjoy using this ball on just about any condition but dry. I have never had an overreaction with this ball and have had forgiving reactions most of the time. The carry of this ball is wonderful. I hardly ever leave pocket 10's, light 7's or the occasional 9 pin. I prefer to have this ball shined up as it has a better reaction then dull. I have posted some pretty high games and series with this ball and am still looking out for that 300 game/800 series. This ball is drilled 4 7/16" x 5" with the pin in the 1:30 position and the mass bias one inch right of the thumb. There is a balance weight on my PAP. update: 4/3/05: shot 247,234,256 = 737 series on my saturday morning league.

This ball was my first track bowling ball ever....i throw alot of storm products, but since it was discounted i figured i would give it a shot...i must say now though it was the Worst ball i have ever bought. the ball surved no purpose I bought it for oil and in oil the ball skided and never griped. anything less than heavy oil the ball died, not to mention the hit was very weak. it just had no power what so ever. also for me..this ball was not forgiving at all..i bowled 30 games on mine before selling it..and i maybe threw 40 strikes with..if u miss left...the ball is going to skid stright ahead....there is no chance of it coming back and if u miss right u are jursey(weak...but still jursey), im a down and in player..and i have gotten a lot of bowling ball to work for me, but this ball , just wasnt what i was especting, i probally will try another track ball sometime...but after this ball..i cant guarentee

This ball and my Icon 300 are both really aggressive bowling balls, but I think this ball the Super Freak is more aggressive than the Icon 300. I really love the way this ball reacts because if I throw it out too far than it will come back, but I dont like what happens when I pull it because then it freakin' takes off and goes brooklyn. Although this ball does carry very well brooklyn. I would recommend this ball for anyone who needs a hooking bowling ball because this ball really knows how to hook. And in the words of an old friend when it hits the pocket BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!

I took it to the pro shop and had the pro extract the oil. It was great for a while but, it just dosent finish like it did the first 100 or so games. All my other balls out hook this ball now its to bad this ball was great . I would love a new one every 50 games or so.(and yes I do clean the ball after I bowl). This ball went from a 10 to a 8. I just bought the animal so I will post a review after I get some games on it and see if the same thing happens

I gave this ball 8 pins because it is versatile on many different conditions. I can sand it for real heavy stuff or shine it for short patterns.I have posted a few decent series using it (600+), but nothing too spectacular. I will agree with most and say that it does hit like a truck whether flush or light. More time then not though, this ball is always first out of my bag. This is actually my first Track ball and am very pleased that i bought it.....thanks again Track. I will more than likely look into other Track balls in the future.

The ball in genral is a decent bowl. ive had it basically since it first came out, but i really never got to impressed with it. Dont get me wrong, i still take it to all my tournys and i have scored real well with it, but its gotta be flush in the pocket or it hits like a little girl. its never really had the drive that the ball was intended to do. i put more revs on then the average bowler and i can get most balls to move and i got this to move but it doesnt hit. But will stop ripping on it, and say that it probly is one of the most consistant bowls i own. And i own way to many.

Bought the ball last summer. Right out of the box condition. Hadn't even throw it yet and bowled with it in a tourny. I played right up first arrow, left a lot of 10 pins, but that was my fault. Placed third without any practice. Which tells you how predictable and readable this ball is. Its pretty forgiving as well. I also took it to a state tourny. Still havent practiced with it since the first tourny and placed first in the State in all events. All 3 of my series were within 7 pins difference. My team finished 2nd. If you are looking for good heavy oil ball this would be a good choice. Dont throw this ball on dry will come in and hit too hard and leave a lot of solid pins!! Keep it on medium to heavy or just heavy!!

This is a great ball on synthetics and very relieable and very forgiving. My average was dropping very quickly . I was a 199 average bowler and I dropped down to 185, when I bought the super freak. Since I have been rolling the super freak my average has climed up to 204. I have only had one bad series of 580 since I started rolling this ball. My high has been 758. All I can say is this is a great ball on synthetics. I have tried this ball on wood with heavey oil and it doesn't do very good. It hit's like pumpkin at times and I'm just not that impressed with it on wood.

This ball is nothing but get around the corner hook. The home house this year decided to change things up a bit, last season, shorter pattern, outsides are open, this season, outside 10 either side is OB, the pattern is longer, the backends are questionable. Last year, all the equipment was drilled to go long, it had to, this year not one of those balls could turn the corner very well, and if they did, they hit like a wet noodle and left corner pins all night. Averages in all leagues dropped a lot, 10 - 20 pins for all bowlers (90% in the league I am president, this is not just a bad year for a few). So, I ask my pro shop operator for a ball that picks up the lanes a little quicker and will still finish with some thump. He drills a super freak with a leverage drilling that should get the ball going early. OK, forget losing pins for the average, this ball is fantastic. This ball glides through the heads, gets to the spot you want, and makes a nice turn through the corner and hi

Shot thirty games with it so far on numerous types of conditions and I have been extremely pleased with the reaction of this ball so far. It does seem to be speed sensitive but that could be the conditions causing that. The carry is pretty good. You have to have plenty of head oil to allow it to get down the lane, but other than that it is a very readable ball. On shots where you don`t catch all of it you still are ok. I have it driiled lable leverage but I would like to see one drilled up "hot" to see the different reaction it gets. I have not found anybody else throwing one around here, not sure what that means but I like mine. Overall another solid ball from track.

For a big hooking ball this ball is SMOOTH. Great transition from roll to hook . With very similiar drilling it checked up about 2-3 ft sooner than the Mutant. It hooks more than the mutant, but usually you end up covering the same amount of boards, because the Mutant has a far stronger backend reaction than the SF. This ball hits great. Not the hit that you get from the Mutant, but very close. I found more messengers with this ball than with the Freak. One positive with this ball, but it is also true of the other Track high performance stuff is that the cover adjusts very well. If it is not quite making it with the factory finish, just barely touch the surface with a grey scotchbrite and that will do the trick

Super Freak is a pretty good ball. Although in box condition I couldnt throw it on heavy oil. Even when hit with a scotch brite to 600 grit, I still dont like it on heavy oil. Medium/Hvy at best is a good lane condition for this ball to be thrown on. It is not a HUGE hooking ball, not very angular at all. It does have lots of power at the pins though. I usually play 25-15-8 and this ball cannot make the corner unless there is dry on the outside. I usually have to play straight up 10 with this ball on heavy stuff. All in all, not a bad ball, but Track has made better.

Really worked as Track advertised. I give it 10 of 10. I recommen guys who needs a ball for heavy oil. The ball really hooks and has a very good backend on heavy oiled lane. I used to play on 2nd arrow now with this ball which is drilled to play inside angle, i throw at 4th arrow. The balls hooks back and bang!!!! I'm really excited to use this on my Friday league where we use long oil pattern and where my existing ball does not work well(does not hook). Hope to increase my average from 180 + to 200 so i can join the upcoming GCC Filipino tournament which will be held in August in Dubai,UAE<s

I have been bowling with a Brunswick Red Fuze drilled to get through the heads clean before it turns. I had been dying on oily lane conditions. I got this ball and it honestly opened up the lane for me like i've never experienced. I'm right handed and normally play 15/16 to 10. With the Super Freak I would be lucky to hit the 7 pin playing that line. I have never been able to play across 20 before I bought this ball. I had it drilled to get down the lane just a bit and it conserves enough energy to carry though the pocket as good, if not better, than any ball i've seen. Because of this drilling I can normally pull this ball out of my bag on most lane conditions other than dry or just dry backends. (simply to much ball) I recommend this ball to anyone that is not a high rev player unless you play on very oily conditions. It would probably be way to much hook for someone that hooks the ball alot.

This ball is no good. The ball doesnt even move in light oil. This is one of Tracks worest balls. My partner and I got mad at the ball cause its not mad for Heavy oil. We wasted are money on it. The Track Mutant Hooks more than the Super Freak. Track needs to get a better ball than this one. I meen this ball is a good ten pin ball but I hate to waste money on a Heavy oil ball. The white Dot hook more than the Super Freak. Also the ball look cool but just slides in the oil. Please make a better ball Track.

OVERALL I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BALL TO SOMEONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A EASY TO READ BALL W/ LENGTH AND BACKEND POWER. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT BALL FOR THE AMATURE, OR OBVIOUSLY FOR THE PRO, OR EVEN FOR THAT SUNDAY BOWLER WHO WANTS TO IMPRESS HIS FRIENDS WITH A BALL THAT HOOKS A TON! FOR A BALL WITH SUCH TREMDIOUS USERABILTY AND VERSATITLY "SORRY BAD SPELLER", TRACK HAS ONCE AGAIN OUT DONE THEMSELVES. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GREAT TRACK SET UP.. TRY WHAT I HAVE.. A SUPER FREAK, MUTANT, THREAT, AND A THRASH! AND MY NEXT TWO TRACK BALLS WILL BE THE REV MASTER AND THE NEW CRUNCH!

This ball is simply amazing. Felt a very strong reaction from both my Freak and Freak Out, but wanted something that still had a little extra in it. Track nailed it with the Super Freak. Had this ball drilled just about as tame as can be, with the pin just above the ring finger and a hair to the left, and I am almost concerned that this ball is too much for my ability. Threw it on a used flooded shot and had some difficulty keeping it left, but I believe that was due to a little too much carry down and some burned out spots on the lanes. I want to try it out first on a sport shot before I start to change the surface of the ball, but I might have to go with polishing it to make it usable longer. However, overall I am very pleased with the Super Freak. Keep up the good work Track!

I have to say, I have not been bowling very long,,, less than a year. But, the first ball I bought did not quite do what i was hoping for. At the end of the regular season, I bought this ball to use and practice with over the summer. Well, in 2 weeks of owning this ball I have gone from a 140 average to 180, wiith the occasional 200+ game mixed in there. Like I said, htis hard, clears the deck. I love this ball!!!!!!!!!!!! >This review has been edited. Please be more descriptive when giving a review to allow bowlers a better understanding. Thanks, Webmaster - BowlingBallReviews.com<

Here comes Track agin with another winner. The Super Freak drilled 6x4 with the pin above and centered between the bridge, and the cg out one inch from the grip center and just below the mid plane gives me a great deal of distance and snap reaction towards the deck with heart pounding carry. This ball for me is not a first out of the bag type ball, but this is by my choice, I bring it out when the oil carries down. I can use a typical 15 to 5 swing, or play a little more speed up 5 to 3 and finish through the carry down as if it didn't exist. ( Box condition ). I loved the Freak so much I could,t pass this up after I read the Bio's from Track, the engineering team put a solid ball together with a perfect combination of cover/ core mix, and they work in concert with each other. Good for me on heavy mediums, or heavier short patterns with carry down. Great job Track. -------------------- It's not my saying but I live by it's meaning. To get somewhere you've never be

Enjoy this ball. It made my mutant look like... well a house ball.. It hooks out of carry down. 10 boards more than my Crunch. Makes my Thrash look like its a spare ball. I am going to drill up a nother Super freak to go longer and polish it so I can have the same reaction just 10 feet longer hopefully. I think the world of this ball and everyone should own this one.. If you have any of the freak line,,,,,,, buy this ball. This review has been edited, please make sure all reviews are at least 100 words.
