i like this ball it is very well when hitting the pins i love it. i threw a 278 with this ball it brought my average up from a 170 to a 214!!!!!! i think every one should own a doom raw hammer. my dad bought this ball for me and put hot pink grips in it as a joke. well people used to makefun of me for that and now they are wishing they had my bowling ball. thank you hammer because now im the king at the bowling alley. i just would like every one to try this ball out. thank you hammer for the king of kings the doom raw hammer. Its an ok ball for a begginer. Usually this is my spare ball on wooden, and oily synthetic lanes. This was my frist real non-plastic ball. The PAIN raw hammer is the better version of this ball. The pain is more aggresive on all types of lanes. Currently my most used ball is the Storm El Nino Returns. This ball is just perfect i roll it down the 2nd arrow and let it roll either to the 2-5 board and it just hooks back... I wanna know how good the Anger Raw Hammer is so if anybody can email me tellin me how good the ball is.. please do.

This is the smoothest and most consistent ball i ever owned and very devestating...its a great ball it does not hit hard as my Total NV but its really a great ball once u hit your mark the pins are gone. This ball is alittle aggressive then i imagine which is very good...This ball goes long and when it hit the pins the backend explode the pins.It recovers very nicely and is very great on light to med oil but also performs well on heavy. Great ball at a very affordable price unlike those expensive balls that dies out and don't do much action.... Hammer Doom is the way to go... love this ball pin action baby!

I am a 148 average bowler. I entered the MS state tournament and got my first 600 series ever with this ball. I have been bowling in the high 500 series since I started using this ball. My ball is drilled for Maximum Length for a dry condition but, it hit the pocket like a ton of bricks in medium oil. The color of the ball had me underestimating it. I had originally planed to use my heavy oil ball most of the time but, lane conditions had me using the Doom as my primary ball I plan to get a second Doom ball for when My first ball wears out.

Great ball for medium to little heavier oil. Has great length and a powerful backend reaction when it hits the dry. In the moment you think, the ball will do nothing on the backend, it turned so hard to the pocket......great!!!!! No question about the hitting power, it is a hammer!!!! If you looking for a polished one that goes long, straight and turns hard this is yours.....! The price is also good reason why you should buy it.......! Better hit the pocket, if you don`t, you get some ugly splits with it. The colour is also sweet. Nice looking bowling ball

Seems I'm always the second person to have the latest and greatest balls on the market. Teammate bought this ball and he bowled VERY well with it. I loved the bright red color of the Doom, and its reaction for him was awesome, so I decided that the time had come to replace my venerable Switch Blade and this was the ball to do it. Could NOT throw this ball. It hooked like nothing I'd ever thrown and was easily more agressive than any of my previous equipment. Drilling was standard, pin at 2:00, nothing fancy, but this baby HOOKED! I relegated it to the floor of my office shortly thereafter, and continued to throw my Switch Blade. The Blade was quickly falling to pieces (one crack led to another, to another and so on....) and all the while my Doom was sitting there in my floor, looking red and gorgeous... and useless. I vowed to conquer it. After much practice, I adjusted for the early roll, the powerful reaction and I finally managed to put it in the pocket. Three weeks later

My wonderful wife got me the Doom for Christmas. I have the Toxic already, and I'm a tweener from the 90's, just coming back to this wonderful game, and I still love the down and In shot if it's there. Anyway, this ball on a freshly oiled lane is my fantasy ball. I play somewhere between 5 and 10 depending on the shot, and when it comes in thin it just slaughters the deck. For being what many call, a weaker ball, well, they just mean that it's not gonna hook 35 boards. It gets through the heads nicely, and when the lanes dry up, I move 5 boards to the right (I'm a lefty), and as long as I throw it correctly, I still kill em. When the carry down is too much for this ball, I get out the Toxic. In my humble opinion, this ball will give most good bowlers as large of a pocket as any "power house ball" on the market. I now only lack a real oil ball for lanes when they are drowned, but I'm looking into that now. I love Hammer products! I have yet to be let down by one. Just an update: I h

I have been a Hammer fanatic for the last 20 years and in that time I have seen some great balls, but nothing comes close to the greatness of the Doom. I have had this ball for 12 months and in this time I have won a number of tournaments, as well as numerous top 3 finishes. Over the last 6 months I have also thrown 2 x 300's and a 299 with this amazing ball. In fact just last week in league I used it and threw 227, 237, 239 & 259 for a 962 without missing the pocket all night. It has such a consistent roll, and then when it hits the pocket it sounds like a bomb going off. Just recently I used the Doom in a tournament and threw a 232 ave for 12 games qualifying and then 223 ave in matchplay to finish with a 27 game average of 227. I have been bowling a long time and this is by far the best ball I have ever seen from any company.

Oh my God I love this ball it is a great ball. I got this ball as a backup but I find myself using this ball more than my other balls. It skids down the lane for about the first 45 feet and then the ball just takes off and boom! I get a lot of good breaks when I pull it or throw it out too far. Anyway, if you don't have this ball get it. You can get a lot of revs on it, especially if you tuck your pinky finger in. Do not get this ball or use it when the lanes are dry.

This is a great ball for medium to light oil I have one of these and the pain both drilled the same way and I just love them. Best 1-2 combo out there!!! It is just so smooth, I heard that this thing was a skid flip monster but I have the pin above my bridge , CG straight down and I love it great roll and pin action! Thank you hammer and keep putting out the great stuff!!!Thank you hammer and keep putting out the great stuff!!!Thank you hammer and keep putting out the great stuff!!!Thank you hammer and keep putting out the great stuff!!!

A very versatile ball, in it's box finish you only have to find some friction and away it goes! Drilled with a 4" pin-pap 90 degree layout with the pin just above and to the right of the ring finger. I love this ball! can play anywhere from up the 2nd board to 3rd arrow breaking around board 5, as lond as you have dry boards on the backend this is the ball to have! I sanded the ball to 1000 abralon and tried it, much smoother ball and does still hook a lot, beter for carry down. Am looking forward to trying a Pain somtime soon as the core in these balls seems to match up very well with my game. over all though a fantastic ball when the lanes suit.

I had this ball originally drilled for maxx snap.( previous review) However it was too much for the type of roll it had. I just got it redrilled ( pin under ring finger cg directly under it ) and the ball still hits but the roll is just ok. Kinda weird this ball seems to need the snap on it to be on anything other than med-light oil. If you feed this thing anything heavy it stinks. I'm not a big fan of the skid-snap era and this ball will more than likely be used on breakdowm conditions. I like equiptment that will flare and heavy roll, this one is not it. Even reaction is the way for me, I have descent hand in the ball and even movement is easiest for me to read. If you like a sick skid-snap, this is for you. pearlized balls might not be my thing either.

This ball is good and i would recommend it as a second begginer ball. once you learn how to hook a ball it doent hook as much as you want it too. this one does. it hooks plenty at 13 mph if your a cranker like me. strokers and tweekers should have no problem with it hooking but the ball loves to be abused. the more revolutions you put on it the better it performs. it truly is a great ball. however if you start to get tired your screwed. the loves to hook and it never stops. your only hope is to change balls or play really deep in the oil if your tired.

I'm going to go to more of a label drilling to tone this beast down. If you like balls that make huge moves on the back then this is as good as advertised. My suggestion is watch your drilling for ball consistency. I'll probably go label on mine just to see if I can settle it down on the backend. Since "the one" everybody wants to go skid snap now. if every thing is gonna go that way , along with more aggression, then we have to watch our drilling to make our equiptment dance a little different. If anyone reading this happens to have tried a label drilling on the doom, then please post. It would be helpful if we included that in the reviews.<

I have been thoroughly impressed with Ram Hammer Doom. My arsenal, because of ball choice or dilling, was lacking a ball that truly read the backend and react. The Doom is the first ball in my arsenal that clears the heads with little to no effort from me and then moves to the pocket abruptly, yet smoothly. There's no need to crank the ball. I found that if you just feed it to the breakpoint with consistent speed and release, you'll achieve fantastic results. It will almost make you feel like Tommy Jones the way the ball snaps back!

I haven't bought a new ball for over 10 years as I have been quite comfortable with my Omega Acryllium (I know it's vintage). So when I began considering buying a new ball, I did a lot of homework on the bowling balls that have hit the market recently, and everything that I read about this ball was what I was looking for. First, I wanted something that would go long, you can check that box off as this ball definitely has great length. Then I wanted something that would do it's best to make it back to the pocket no matter how far right I threw it....you can check that, too, because I've never had a ball that snaps back to the left like this one. Finally, I wanted a ball that would hit like a ton of bricks, and I'm telling you this thing hits the pins like it's got something personal against them. What I'm trying to say is that for the price and the performance you have got to go get you one of these! First game out of the box was a 256.

great ball, bowled 7 in a row 2day, only left 1 ten pin, and its my first 15 pounder, my bro has 1 and my dad used it to bowl 274(8 strikes) and my bro won a tourn. with it, so it is a great, hard hitting, carrying ball, u shud get it and u will probably win something with it. especially u shud get it from buddies pro shop .com, great prices great service. any1 who tried my bros ball loved they way it looked, and how it hit especially. AMAZING BALL!! if u bowl in a league with good bowlers and u need a ball, u shud get this ball and u will probably win or atleast score great.

AS I SAID ABOVE I BOUGHT THIS BALL FOR AMBER TO THROW IN LEAGUE & NABI TOURNAMENTS! LAST WEEK IN THE FINALS ROUND SHE THREW A 197 TO MY 187. I'M NEVER GOING TO LIVE THIS ONE DOWN! HER HAMMER SLIDES SMOOTH THROUGH THE OIL AND THEN TAKES AN IMMEDIATE LEFT TURN. PINS STAY LOW TO THE DECK AND THE CARRY IS AMAZING! SINCE WE PURCHASED IT, SHE HAS THROWN 3 200+ GAMES AND A 249 GAME. THE BALL ALSO GETS A TON OF COMPLIMENTS ON THE WAY IT LOOKS. THE BALL ROLLS AND HITS ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE MY TRACK FREAKAZOID. IT WILL GIVE YOU ALOT OF LOVE ON A BAD SHOT AND THE SOUND OF A SHOTGUN GOING OFF ON A GOOD SHOT! IT'S DEFINETLY A GREAT LEAGUE SHOT BALL, BUT MAY HOOK TOO MUCH ONCE THE LANES DRY OUT. BUT FOR A BEGINNER OR AN EXPERIENCED BOWLER THERE IS NO DOUBT IT IS AND IS GOING TO BE A GREAT BALL. BALL GRABS IT'S SHARE OF OIL BUT WIPES OFF EASY.

ball drilled pin over ring finger , if i would of known the angle the ball has on its own i would have had it drilled different. i have alot rev and this ball goes very long and then sideways. ive had plenty of success the first 15 games , 289,255,and 3 other 9 x games, but i have to be very careful or it will run away on me . i really like this ball as long as the lanes match up. if the heads are dry youll probably not even notice , which is my favorite thing about it . ill definitly get more hammer balls as i like the predictability of this one. now ( 05 02) threw a 299 , 2 days later 286.<s

Hammer is known for the tremendous hit. The Raw Hammer Doom is keeping the pace and lives up to the name. The simple core design and pearl cover combination match well. I like the price, too. I borrowed this ball during practice and fell in love with the nice "kick." If you need length and snap, this is the ball for you. Cosmetically, it is a real looker. Because it was borrowed, I don't have many details about the layout. Looked like 2" pin distance and positioned at about 2 o'clock from ring finger. Good layout choice. Just remember to use the ball during conditions for which it was designed. Keep it in the bag if the lanes are heavily oiled. I am always impressed to see these mid-priced bowling balls out perform the expensive ones! Go Hammer!

This Ball is a hard hitter. It always come back and end in a great smash in the pocket. I can threw it wrong and it comes back and result in a Strike (real or brooklyn). You can play fast or slow, straight or with big angle. This is my first hammer bowlingball - I was very impressed about it- . My next ball must be hammer too. I also like the red-silver colour. I think this is my first ball out of bag for the most conditions in my area. I´m waiting for the next ball of the hammer raw line.

Specs 15 2.3 oz. 3 in pin. rilled aggressive. Above ring finger CG. This is my first mid priced ball. WOW, I am impressed. My first Hammer, WOW, I am impressed. The ball rolled out extremely smooth. Reved up halfway down the lane on house shot (MEDIUM) condition. Turns right for the pocket 10 ft before the pins and WHAM!!!! Great pin action.......hard hitter!! I love this ball. It is replacing my Uranium Pearl. As conditions broke down I simply moved left and played it out and in. VERSATILE. I like versatile product and this is one of my all time favorites. I did not expect a ball at this price to hit as hard as this one did. FUN BALL!!! 2/27/06 This has become my benchmark ball. I put away my Uranium Pearl. I made so many comments on the price because of the large difference between the Doom and the Uranium (over $100). I have bowled my best, most consistent games ever with this ball. High series and high game. Thank you Hammer. I WILL TRY OTHER HAMMER PRODUCT

This is by far the best reactive pearl bowliing ball I have ever owned. Hammer hit a homerun with the Raw Hammer Doom. Hook: If played on med to light oil this ball will perform great. It covers a lot of boards on the back end. Rating 9 Control: This ball is all about control. This is what just floors me about this ball. Most skid flip balls that are this strong on the back end are hard to control when the back ends are dry. Not this ball. This Hammer has a strong but controllable back end reaction. Rating 9 Hit: This ball flat out hits! I seem to carry everything with this Hammer. You wont believe the carry this ball has. Rating 10 Overall: This ball can cover med patterns all the way to most dry lanes. If you don't mind moving in deep this ball can take place of 2 balls in an arsenal. This is a coast to coast type of ball. There is a huge amount of recovery. I like this ball so much that i'm going to buy a case of 4 just to keep in my closet before there
