Great match to the Reactive Pearl and the particle versions. I would take this ball out of the bag first and then adjust (unless you already know the lanes). You probably should use it if the Particle Pearl is setting too early. Like Bill says, why wasn't it out sooner? I've only thrown six games so far, but when the ball isn't on a 25-30 unit dressed lane, it does a great job. Definitely a medium oil ball and it's a beautiful thing when matched correctly. I shot 714 although the first game was low, it was a matter of grip and release. After that, it was strong rolling and hitting (threw 18 in a row between two games). I love the roll, arc and finish. This makes me happy and confident that I can throw reactive equipment again.

This ball is what Hammer sent me as a replacement for my old Big Blue (read the review for that mess). Pin is at 4", located just above grip center, CG is just right of thumbhole. This ball is one of the smoothest movers I have had the pleasure of using. Only hooks about 2 boards less than my Ultimate Inferno. Clears the heads nicely while revving up the whole way, then makes a very smooth arcing motion in the midlane with continuation through the backend. My second complete practice game with the Big Block was a 300 (and there was much rejoicing...yay). I was able to play between 3rd and 4th arrows very easily with this ball. I do like the control that the ball/drill combination offers. A very sincere THANK YOU to Brian Graham and the Hammer staff for sending me what may very well be the best ball available right now.

We received two of these and drilled them up for one of shop guy and myself. I laid the ball out with the pin in my ring finger and the cg about 1/2" off my grip line. This layout puts the mass bias in my leverage area. I threw this ball on a house condition that is light oil on the outside and building to heavy oil in the middle. On the house shot, this ball was very smooth and easy to adjust off of. I was able to go up the lane without a problem, and could swing the ball back, and have a smooth sweeping hook back to the pocket. In the box condition, I found this ball was more for medium-light oil shots, but you can adjust the surface easy to get more of less hook. I think this is a great addition to the Hammer line and anyone that likes the Diesel series will love this ball. The stable rolling, smooth arcing reaction that is the Diesel line, is found in the new Big Block Diesel. Any questions, please email me at Bill@BuddiesProShop.com Thanks Bill
