With the core/coverstock combination the Nasty Nail clears the front of the lane with ease and has it's energy waiting to be released on the back end. This makes for a very aggressive entry into the pocket. The Nasty Nail Pearl are very good compliment to each other during the lane transition from medium oily to medium dry.

Granted, I have, thus far, only thrown about 25 games with this ball. But, I threw my first 600 in sport league (202, 277, 209) and the Thursday before that I threw 678 (210,248,220). The other league nights have all been 550+ so I have had good sucess so far. I really like the way the ball just floats down the lane and the smallest amount of oil. All I have to do is adjust left and right and toss it out and I will kill almost any shot with this ball. It works so well because the back end reaction is so strong, on oil that it comes back great with perfect angle. On drier conditions, the ball loses a lot of energy being pushed out, but the back end reaction is so strong with this ball that it still keeps enough reaction to come back across the lane. Bottom line, great ball.<scrip
