A completely redesigned weight block features an inverted tri-stack design with 4” flip blocks on top and bottom for tremendous flare potential (7” plus), surrounding the weight block is a light density 7 ½” core lowering the RG (2.47) and increasing the rev rate, providing you increased read in the mid-lane and dynamic backend power. Encompassing this core is a new EGT™ (Enhanced Gripping Technology) particle coverstock for increased traction in the heaviest oil. The surface of the EGT™ coverstock can be easily adjusted with polishes, sandpaper or Scotchbrite™ for a specific reaction on most lane surfaces.

After reading reviews on this ball I decided to give it a try as my heavy oil ball. I expected it to chew up the slick lanes but man was I disappointed. I'm finding it very hard to control, it just is not the least bit forgiving if speed or line is the SLIGHTEST bit off. It also doesn't move in oil any better than my green messenger. Of course this is based on out of the box condition, I'm going to try sanding it down to 300 or 400 grit and see what happens. I will post another review if anything changes but for now I can't recommend this ball.

i used a 16 pound set up with a flip leverage drill scheme with 3/4 side and 3/8 finger weight, i have a little above average ball speed and prob above average turn. on a medium to heavy oil house shot i pitched over 15 swung out to 5 and had no trouble getting back to the hole. very high flare, great power in the pocket. my axis tilt is 3/8 down and 5-7/8 over. would definitely pull out another ball if the lanes arent soaked, because this ball does not know how to stop hooking.

The Cure may be the biggest hooking ball that I have had. This ball cuts through oil without any problem. Great carry. I normally shoot the ball over the 2nd arrow(right handed) and this ball is like a boomerang right to the pocket.Pins just go everwhere. Bowling on tournament shots, when nobody could get anything to move, I pulled out the cure, slowed my speed down a bit( i normally throw around 16 mph) and this ball did the trick, right to the pocket. This is a great heavy oil ball that always crushes the pins. Thanks, Kzilla

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We received one of these balls from Hank at Dyno-Thane and laid it out for one of the pro shop staff. We have received so many phone calls and emails on this ball we immediately wanted to see what this ball was going to do. Wow...With the standard 5" X 5" stacked drilling, this ball was a monster on the lanes. We left it in box condition to see how much it really hooked. The Shop guy that we drilled it for has struggle to hook a lot of the newer particle ball, but this ball, he had no problem. He has thrown this on a variety of shots, fresh oil, league, and open bowling. The Cure has the ability to get through the heads without much problem, as long as you have some decent head oil you shouldn't have a problem. With the 5 by 5 drilling the ball gets down to about 40 feet, then makes a strong sweeping move back to the pocket. With the normal heavy build up in the middle, he was able to move i
