I first decided to get one of these after seeing Wayne Webb throw one in a PBA Regional. I liked the way it seemed to set up all the way down the lane and roll through the pocket like a runaway freight train. The color also attracted me, the nice combo of blue and white, and then I was pleasantly surprised when I got one that's mostly white. It's awesome watching it roll down the lane, kinda mesmerizing actually. I shot my 2nd 800 series with this ball, and have never failed to score well with it. 10 out of 10.

This ball was really good in the begining when I first had it. Kind of been losing its reaction which sucks. Pin is right above ring finger. CG kicked out. I tried to keep in the box condition. If I polish it, it goes down the lane too far. When I first had it, it was more of a medium-heavy oil ball but it now is a medium-light condition ball. If I had the chance of buying another one I would. Hmm so hows your family. My family is good. Have a nice day. And thank you for reading this review of the Columbia 300 Wicked (the original). Joe.

k well i get this ball about, oh, 2 years and 6 months ago, and it still rocks! It is soo easy to strike with this ball, you just hit your mark, and WHAM! bye bye pins! It is drilled like a normal logo drill, pin in. I decided to make an update on this ball because it's been about 8 months sence my ast one and i have put more then 500 games on it sence then. Yea thats right more than 500 games sence then, and its still hooks! This ball is never a dissapointment when i throw it, so i suggest if you find one, BUY IT DAMMIT!

I hated this ball. I wanted to find a rock on replacement and the columbia rep said this was the closes one that they have. Biy were they wrong. I hate when I am recommended a ball and it is not even close. That sucks more than a car with four flat tires. Do not buy this ball. It is terrible. You will NOT like it at all. Im not trying to bash Columbia product due to the fact that I own a few columbia ball, but this one is a dump of a ball. Buy a super Trooper or an Alter Ego, Or a Bully. Those are much better balls.

I bought this ball for $20 off a guy who didn't like it so I said what the hell. I should of kept my $20 bucks. I throw a cranker and it hooks harder than most stuff I throw. Usually that is a good thing, but this time it isn't. I would play middle arrow swing out to about 5 board and it would go brooklyn every time. If you are a bowler who strokes the ball, then this is a great ball for you. But for a cranker, this ball just hooks way too much for somebody like you.

one of the best balls made by columbia. miss left it hold. miss right it comes back. Great price too. never had this great a ball in the price range its got. Scored my first 290! my highest score ever. now i can dream of bowling a perfect game. its just a medium range ball that can give a big bang when it hits the pocket. another grat job by columbia. wich i bought this ball sooner! Thanks to my coach i have finially found the ball for my shot. Just don't try using this ball when the lanes are flooded! you'll see that it wont react!

This ball is amazing. Even though this ball has Pin In, it still is on of the best, if not the best ball in my arsenal. My first one, is pin in, my second one is pin out. I didn't like the Pin Out wicked, i always had a problem with throwing that thing, but my original one is great, its just a standard logo drill, there the logo is on the side of the ball, there's no weight hole, and it's really old now. My best series with this ball is a 656, and my best game with this ball is a 299. I sold my newer one so i could get a scout, and a Brunswick Target Zone, but i will always use my older wicked. This ball, iIcan use on sry, oily, longer, shorter, you name it, ill make it work. I can shoot it going from 40 to 5, I can shoot it straight down 5, and it works no matter what. only thing i don't like about the ball is it discontinued, but if you find one, BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT!

I recommend this ball if you average between a 120-150 in my opinion I would get a high-performance ball not this one if you'll want to pick up your 10 pin or your 7 pin get this ball. The main reason why I like it is because I put a lot of crank on it toss it up in the air to the second arrow and the ball will hook strong to the 4 or the 7 pin for me I'm keeping this baby for a long time. This is my left spare ball by the way. The right spare ball I'll get either a Miller Lite one or Ebonite Captain Class (glow) for my ten pin shots. Thanks and see ya later.

I am reviewing this ball for any one in the possition I was in a few months ago looking for a ski flip ball not sure which ball I wanted so I tried a friends the Wicked is a good ball for the strong back end and consistant results when working for you. make sure you hit your area tho this ball has high tendency to get away from you especially if you give it high revs works extremely well with the messenger ti pearl this combination boosted my ave from 159 to 199 in a matter of a couple months and I am still working on the right shot and layout for my own ball

When i bought this ball i didnt really know what it did. Now that i have used it for awhile i understand that this ball is very smooth and finds its way to the pocket very well. The way this ball hit , it hits very hard, I think this ball possibally hit harder then any ball i have ever had. I dont know anything about all the specs and stuff , but i do know that this is one of my favorite balls right next to the Inferno.I bought this ball used from a friend and am very pleased with it. Way to go columbia.

Great color, looks really good when the ball starts to track out. Very wicked snap! Gave me about 4 to 5 boards of area. Hit the pocket and boom, 10 in the pit. Hit light here comes the messenger. Just keep away from heavy oil and you're fine, but once it hits a flood hits really flat. Wish I bought this ball a long time ago. I polished the ball and does well on dry even the driest lanes. Haven't trying sanding this ball. I'll post another review if i do! Another great ball from columbia with a very reasonable price!!!

What a wicked ball? Man this is the best ball I have had in a long time. This ball hits hard like a truck. The only bad thing is that it leaves the weird pins. Other than that I wish i had another one so if this is one goes bad that i have another one. I am so happy that i got his ball. Columbia 300 you should be proud of this ball. This is one of the best ones you have made. Really whats wrong with a ball that continues like this. The color of the ball is wicked. Thanks for making this ball. Its made for any condition except for heavy heavy oil, but out here you will never see that.

This ball is the best ball I had in a long time cause I liked storm. This ball is a good strong carrying ball in the rite condition. The color of the ball is wicked. I wish I would of got this a long time ago. The number one ball in the market. Shot 11 in a row with it. I think that this ball will be one of the best from Columbia 300. This ball has a huge snap. This ball hits hard like the Hammer Truck. But I like balls that carry on the right condition. This ball will slide in the Heavy oil but you have to throw the ball slower.<scri

This is currently my favorite ball in the bag. I have mine drilled 2 1/2 X 3 which makes it roll a little early and arc more than flip on the backend. Don't get me wrong though, with this enhanced superflex coverstock, this ball definately finishes very strong and will turn up hard when it comes in contact with the dry backends. The coverstock is unchanged form out of the box. For those who have been around a while, it rolls like a red pulse on crack (hooking 12-14 boards more than the original pulse but smooth transition from oil to dry). It flares about 4 inches for me (which is a lot considering where my pin is). This is a high price ball disguised as a medium price ball. A perfect ball for a fresh house shot, or a good 2nd ball in tournament conditions when my particle Wow! starts to hook too early and burn up.

I would recommend this bowl to anyone who has good ball speed, and likes to swing the ball.. This the perfect ball for swing bowlers, and the only enemy is yourself.. Speed is the key, and Swing the ball out are the only things you really have to concentrate on.. Also the ball goes down the lane through the head pretty good, but don't let that fool ya because its going to do a u turn heard in the center of the lane.. This ball has great hitting power on the right condition, and I believe you can really break a pin with this ball.. GOOD SPEED, AND SWING SHOT IS THE ONLY THING YOU WILL NEED.. ALSO, DON'T GET CAUGHT WATCHING HOW EASY THE BALL IS GOING THROUGH THE HEADS BECUASE THAT WILL BE A SPLIT SHOOT.. .

Pin under ring finger, I had this set up for flat out skid/flip. Stand left and throw right annd watch it bank off the dry and destroy the pins. Im actually very impressed with this altho im throwing all AMF stuff. Columbia makes AMF tho. Got this for leagues and it didnt dissapoint. I do believe the first game of league is not the time to throw this one too much over/under. Loosen them up the first game then pull this out and watch the fire works. My equipment hooks in the shape of a hockey stick, This one is the shape of a backwards L. Truly, No pulling any ones leg this ball flat out moves. I think once a little oil has been moved from the heads this ball burns just a tad but just enough so it holds in the backends fairly well. Keeping this one for a house shot, Hope this helps, rickyp..............

Clean through the heads, retaining maximum energy for the backend. Hooks late and HARD, so beware. Dry lanes are impossible. Also, if your style makes use of this ball's potentially powerful breakpoint, carry-down can make things really ugly. If a good amount of oil gets into your hook zone, the reaction will be significantly weakened. The angle you can create into the pocket is the thing that's truly "Wicked" about this ball. It's very well-liked for a reason. It's everything that a powerful reactive ball should be. Definitely the extreme end of the skid-flip type of reaction. For the last few weeks of the league I'm in now, they decided to change the oil pattern from the normal house shot...possibly to a sport shot. Kicked my a$$ pretty bad at first. So I decided to really try to be a power player and see how I'd fair under the conditions. So I juiced up the ball speed, and cranked up the revs. Perfect angle to the pocket with even more power! The ball CAN be used

This ball has an incredible reaction and return to the pocket. I had to move my normal foot position five boards left in order to get enough swing room for this monster, but once I was lined up...unbelievable! I cannot remember bowling six games in my home center and leaving only a single tenpin. I learned quickly that this is a very unforgiving piece of equipment if you set the ball early or do not remain firm with your follow through, because this ball will drive right through the snoot if you baby it. Overall, this is a great ball for the money, if you encounter a lengthy oil condition. On dry lanes, leave it in the bag unless you have great ball speed.

This ball is great! Gives me the consistant hook (when I throw it correctly) and really hits the pocket hard. Almost impossible to pick up a consistant 10 pin so I switched to my old SUMO ball to take care of the right side spare oppertunities. Considering the lane conditions I have to deal with here in Germany, this ball is even better than I expected. The only thing I would do is have it drilled for more hook action. Ball is currently drilled what I would call 'normal' without much hook so I need to provide what it gives more than I'd like but experience will take care of that.

With this ball, theres nothing stopping you. Ive been buying many new bowling bowling balls lately, all high performance. but now im low on cash (lol), so i bought this mid - price ball. Awesome ball. gives you a controled backend. in the house i bowl in, the further u throw it, the more it comes back. can go really long. does'nt rev up as much as my colossus supreme. but hits as hard as lane #1 balls. There is absolutely no reason to buy equipment that is $100 more. It will be nothing compared to this. This ball doesn't leave as many 10 pins (righty) as my other balls, expecially my colossus supreme. Columbia 300 must becoming really stupid, selling this ball at this price is unbelievably stupid.

HADN'T USED THE BALL FOR ABOUT A MONTH THEN I SUBED ONE SUNDAY NIGHT AND GOT IT OUT AND SHOT 300(MY FIRST) AND 790 SERIES!!!!! IT IS A 15 LB. BALL AND HAD TROUBLE AJUSTING TO IT HAVING USED 16LBS. MY WHOLE LIFE, LOVE IT NOW!!! I REMOVED THE BOX FINISH AND (HAVE MY OWN BALL POLISHER) GOT TO 600 GRIT AND A HIGH GLOSS ON THE COVER, TRY THIS IF YOU HAVE A HOUSE WITH DIRTY BACKENDS IT SHOULD FLY TO THE POCKET!!

One night during one of my leagues I through a couple 170's with my Trauma. Couldn't get the 10 pin to fall whenever I hit the pocket and would always miss it. All my strikes were light hits that carried really well. My friend let me use his Wicked for the last game. Got the first five strikes then tugged it leaving a four pin. Then I struck until the last ball when I left 8 and got a 277. Used it again the next week and shot a 268. There's something about the ball that just works very well for me. Right when it leaves the oil it slams towards the pocket. If you don't get all of the head pin you'll get a good reaction as the head pin goes flying everywhere taking out the 4-5-7 for you. Just a beautiful piece of equipment.

I have been able to us the wicked on a variety of lines. I have it drilled up to rev a little earlier but still provide me with good backend. I have not had trouble playing in the oil with this drill and the amount of carry I have gotten from this ball is unreal. I would suggest this ball to all types of bowlers, but if you bowl in a house that has a lot of oil you might want to consider a earlier roll and maybe make some adjustments on the surface. It's hard to complain when you shoot 790 and 732 your first two series with the wicked.
