I bought this ball for my"dry shot" ball as I always wanted the original, but never got to pick one up.Judging by the low diff.(.024) and the med low cg(2.52),I thought it would fit my game fairly well for dry lanes.I didn't do anything fancy with the drilling, just a basic label shift, pin at 1:30 2x4 no weight hole. The first house I tried it at was all synthetic medium heavy oil with some carrydown. Not what I intended to use it on as I have dull paticle balls for that.I couldn't get it to tilt except when I slowed down and played straight up the 8 board and it walked right in the 1 3.Hit and carry was nothing spectacular. The second house was an old all wood house with burnt heads, light oil and carrydown.I had much more success at this house with it.Playing about 13(at the arrows)to about the 8-9 board and at about 45 feet or so the ball makes a good strong move and hit/carry are better also.So to sum up this long-winded review.A fairly decent ball to smooth out the over/under reactions.

pull em' n tug em'
rolls nice , hits very, hard. got is for my birhtday and have loved it ever since. shot my county tournament and swept my division sot 712, 657, 633. got it drilled with negative side and when this baby flips it stops then makes a right hand turn.only bad thing is it gets those damn scuff marks, but a towel cleans it right off this goes loner than my Shock Trauma and hooks like my icon.I wish they would have remade the Piranha/c ,but what can u do?OH did i meantion Storm SUX!! blah blah blah blah blah

stone nine pin
I really like this ball for what it is. It is a medium/strong ball with decent length and a strong arc on the backend. Mine is drilled 5x3 with no hole. pin is above my middle finger. Cg is a little right of center of grip. I would have rathered columbia re-make this ball exactly like the old one (with Flexcel). Instead, they "enhanced" the Flexcel and added a little more hook to the coverstock. This no doubt is what drove up the price of the ball into a "high Performance" category. Again, I like this ball and think it is a great, smooth, semi-strong ball. I don't think it should have been so expensive. This should have been a mid priced ball, and the Wicked should have been a high priced ball...... maybe they were trying to make up for offering the Wicked so cheap. If you want a really good ball that is smooth and semi strong.....and want to pay the extra dough to be the only person in your city with one.....and like bright orange......this is a great ball for you.
