This ball was just a fantastic ball. I have tried to duplicate the reaction for years since the discontinuation of this ball. Great for up the boards bowlers and big benders too. The simplicity of the core and mild durability of the cover made a dynamite combination. Columbia has always made a great staple of lightbulb type cores and this was the best of them. This was a very heavy rolling ball that was at home anywhere but in the high pocket. I have had two of these balls, one 16lb and one 15lb. I drilled both the same. 3-3/8 leverage with the weight hole 8in from the CG. Same exact reaction for both. Very consistent.

I love this ball. If anyone knows where I can find any that weren't sold, please e-mail me at pitvpr21@yahoo.com . Make the subject line read "Piranha/C Pearl located". I don't know what else to say about this wonderful tool of the trade. It had made bowling very enjoyable. I used to have two, but one cracked when using a home remedy for "sweating the oil out of the pores" of the ball. That's why I am looking for another. Of all the balls I have owned, the Piranha/C Pearl is probably the only one I have ever raved about
