You asked for it. We took action. Introducing the new Action bowling ball from Columbia 300. The perfect mix of low RG and high differential, symmetric simplicity in the core and our powerful M-80 reactive coverstock. It's a potent combination that gives you the fast-revving, versatile "go-to" bowling ball you've been looking for. But the Action bowling ball is much more than a bowling ball. It's the continued commitment to all the passion that has kept the Columbia 300 brand in the winner's circle for more than six generations. The sport of bowling is changing and we're changing with it - but we'll never change our core values.

I love this ball. This ball hits harder than my big bully. Rolled the ball on fresh oil with ease. Carries very well. I rolled a 240 in my third game. I only cracked 240 four times in the past 6 months. This ball outhooked my epx and big bully. I just began to use the arrows, and this ball is very accurate and easy to throw. Everytime I hit my mark I rolled a strong strike. It is also very forgiving. If a was off a board or two, it still carried great. On a side note it is also a great looking ball especially with lime green grips.

Columbia has finally added a versatile high end ball to their arsenal. Drilled 4x4 for medium lanes and a 4-inch pin out to give the ball some length and a lot of roll. In three different houses (all synthetic) was able to maintain a line between 10 and 15. The Action gives you the ability to play inside on tougher conditions and to maintain a large margin of error. Can't wait to get another one and drill up with a stronger layout to play against the flood. This ball rates as Columbia's defense against Ebonite's "The one" and is by-far the best Columbia ball since the Alter Ego.

I now have respect for Columbia300 by throwing the action. I throw this ball over the fourth arrow on a heavy oil shot, and man does this thing come back. Don't get the wrong impression of this ball being just a heavy oil ball!!! This ball is my most hooking ball while also being the most versatile, for which it most definitely is! I love this ball, it is most definitely my favorite. I used to have to switch balls for different conditions, and now there is no need to!!!!! This ball not only helps my game, but it gives me a lot of confidence. I got this ball drilled with the pin under the ring finger and with a X-hole!!!!! I could spend all day telling you how great this ball is, but it is better for you to find out for yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Drilled up an Action last week. Wanted something that had more backend the my GP2 but I didn't want to sacrafice any midlane roll. This ball did just that. Not only does it get through the heads with ease and roll hard in the midlane but the backend for this resin ball is just absolutely amazing. Dull this ball will preform best on oil. I hit it with some Clean and Sheen to see what it would do for the dry shot. Ball still rolled hard and gave some added length but what i liked most is its predicibilty. I plan on buying anothor to keep it polished. Great ball for the money if your looking for that "GO TO" ball.

This ball is amazing. This thing hooked alot more than I expected. Great control and predicability. Pin is 4" from PAP and MB is 3/4" right of thumb with 1/2 oz of side weight. When it makes it turn it doesnt stop, drives all the way to the pit. It filled the spot in my bag that I wanted. Needs alot of head oil for this one. If it is dry, forget it, unless you put a coat or 2 of polish on it. Will post another review when I get to bowl on a little more oil with it. Until then, buy one if you want something that just flat out hooks.

This is the strongest, most accurate ball I have ever thrown! It is like the core of this ball has an internal GPS unit to go straight to the pocket! I also own a Jekyll, and a Formula, which are both great balls, but this one goes far and beyond what my expectations were on buying a high performance ball! My average has gone up 18 pins just in the first week and a half that I've had it! I have thrown it on medium oil, heavy oil, and dry conditions, and it has come through with flying colors! Great job Columbia! I'm definitely here to stay!

I just got this ball last night. I practiced with it a little bit before we had our squad, and WOW. I was absolutely blown away by the way that this ball turned the corner and the way it absolutely demolished the pocket. It soaks up the oil very well and when it hit, everything was blown away. What I really love this ball is that it does not leave the corner pins, when it hits the pocket, the pins just explode. I have been bowling for many years, and I can easlily say that this is the very best ball that I have ever bowled with. My very first series with this ball was a 665, and I shot a 247 in my very first game. A guy in my league thought that there was some kind of special chip in this ball because of the way I was hooking it. I can see why Wes Malott and Chris Barnes truly love this ball. This is truly the greatest ball that Columbia has ever made. Many thanks to Bowler's Pro Shop, and it's owner Ariel Domingo for this ball, it's just amazing.

This ball only had a 1 inch pin so it took a little longer than usual to lay it out. The pin is about three inches below my ring finger. Got it drilled to arch strongly, no skid/snap reaction. The lanes I tried it on were a little toasty so I tried to play inside where the oil is. Had some good hold and never lost energy. I pitched it out across the entire lane and it still came back. Left weak 10 pins but I don't hook the lane often so a minor adjustment shall fix that. On fresh oil this ball will hook tons and in a couple of weeks I'll let you know how well it does. So far it's a 10. The last Columbia I owned drop to a six so let's hold our breathe and hope this stays up there.<sc
