Brunswick D2Z Deep Danger Zone Bowling Ball

(10 reviews) Write a Review

Out of the Zone comes another troublemaker for the competition. The newest threat for the high performance bowler, and a real menace for pins hellbent on standing. The Deep Danger Zone (you can call it D2Z) uses new PowrKoil Plus to put every frame within striking distance. Expect more length. And get more backend. Than with any other ball in bowling.

That ball has been a God send to me. I've bowled a good number of 10 and 11 strike games with this ball. I understand that it's been discontinued but I'd like to find another ball just like it. Over all it's a great ball. I used to be a high rev player with Brunswick's new release Inferno balls but this ball has brought new life to my game and helped me play a part of the lane that I've never played before. If anyone out there has a DZ2 laying around please feel free to send me a message on here because I'd really love to find another one.<scri

overall this ball rocks...I shot a 239 with it out of the bag at a house i have never broken 200 at ...If you can find one of these balls PICK IT UP. It is one of the best Zones I have thrown...right above my Sapphire. This ball is also VERY forgiving...you throw it out just a little too far it'll still roll home for you..same goes for if you pull the shot a bit and come in heavy..This ball will go Brooklyn and shred the rack. Another great Zone Ball....Brunswick ROCKS! CHECK E-BAY

For it being my first resin ball I think it did a great job. I went to the pro shop through down 180 bones and it was over. Went to the bowling center and through a 278 second game not bad, ha. This ball worked best for me when it was real slick up front and fresh buff on the back side. I have not seen this ball on e bay so as for recs I would say you can find a ball just as good or maybe better then it almost anywhere you would look for one. Good luck bowling.

This is one amazing ball. My friend gave this ball to me (and what a dumbass for not keeping it) and i have never got pin action like this before from all the balls i have owned. I guess thats why i never leave any corner pins with it. You will even knock the pins down going jersey. For me this ball is easy to adust with lanes and is great for a tournment shot. Its alittle to agressive for dry lanes so don't use it if your against dry lanes, but it may be different for you because i put a lot of revs on the ball.

I loved this ball more than any other. Handled the oil extremely well. Feed to the outside with ease. Unparalleled backend movement with a super strong flip. Carried everything. Mid-priced and easy maintenance. Everything you could love all in one ball. But, alas, no longer produced. All the hook was deep, deep, deep down the lane producing POWER. Very effective on dry lanes as well by just moving left, left and more left and going coast to coast. Never entered the pocket dead on arrival regardless of the lane conditions. If you come across one - grab it. I know I will.

I just got this ball by accident. There was one ging tossed out, so I grabbed it. ITS AWSOME! Its drilled up the traditional 4L brunswick drilling with the pin over the fingers. I was throwing it on a second shift of a tournament. Heads were SUPER fried and my Monster Frenzy was jumping up way to much. I pulled this beasty out and BAM! Played it out over center arrow out to 10 board (at 45 feet). It consistantly got through the heads, sailed down and hit. If I tugged it held, if I pushed it, it snapped. The only problem was with a couple of frames i came out flat. I still buried it in the pocket, but with very little angle (under 3 boards). It just kept tapping 10's on me. It worked well though, my first games with it and I was averaging over duece (no work required). this would be a great carry-along ball when you go to a tournament. Its reliable, hits well, and is a perfect step down from a Monster frenzy if its comming in to hard!

This ball gave me my first 299, 300 and 800. Next to the copper rhino pro, this is the best brunswick ball ever. Hits the pocket very hard with very little roll out. If the backends really dry up you my need to put some spin on it to make it not roll out. Oil makes it squearly. Might sand the ball down for oil, but never tried that. Ball recovers very nice if you swing it, but does prefer the down and in shot. This is the number 2 ball you need to get from brunswick, 1 being the copper rhino pro and the 3rd being the blue power blitz.<

This ball has done wonders for me. I love using this ball on the sport shot as well as the tournament shots with alot of carry down. Prefect for when the lane condition is long and during carry down. I suggest the crankers throw this ball on heavy oil and the more straighter bowlers throw on medium oil. This ball will leave alot of 10 pins and 9 pins for the righties. I do leave a 7 pin every once in a while. But overall i would suggest this ball to anyone. Dont be surprised if you leave alot of solid pins when you hit the pocket. This ball also just spreads the pins everywhere when you go light.

My friend gave me this ball as a gift a couple years ago. I am not a big fan of Brunswick bowling balls, but this ball proved me wrong. The thing I liked about this ball is that I can't miss a shot. I throw it inside, it holds and hits the pocket. I throw it out, it has enough power reserved to come back and destroy the rack. The only time that I would be in trouble if is there is HEAVY oil, even then it only would hit light and then I can make the simple adjustment to get it in the pocket hitting hard again. The Zone line is the best line that Brunswick has produced and will be hard to beat.

THIS IS A GREAT BALL TWO THINGS COME TO MIND CONSISTANCY AND CONTROL UNLIKE THE ORIGIONAL DANGER ZONE THIS ONE DOES NOT ROLL UP TO EARLY OR ROLL OUT WHEN LANES DRY OUT AND UNLIKE THE BLACK ICE DANGER ZONE THE PEARL ONE IT DOES NOT HAVE THE VIOLENT SNAP THIS BALL IS CAPABLE OF COVERING A LARGE NUMBER OF BOARDS AND HOOK CAN BE CHANGED BY CHANGEING BALL SPEED THIS BALL ALSO ROLLS CONSTITANT AND CARRIES BETTER THEN THE DANGER ZONE OR THE DANGER ZONE BLACK ICE WITCH TEND TO LEAVE A LOT OF SINGLE PINS ESPECIALLY 7 PINS WITCH IS WHY THIS BALL GAVE ME THE MOST 700 SEERIES AND 300 GAMES THEN ANY OTHER BALL I HAVE
