When I first threw this ball I loved it, it was great. It hooked and killed the pocket. But after about a month I was hitting the pocket and leaving splits like crazy including to seven-tens in my finals(while hitting the pocket.) My average went down big time because of this ball I couldn't believe I sold my Jade Quantum for this ball. IMO this ball is not as great as it was hyped up to be. I sold this ball and bought the Raging Inferno and the Vicious Strike which turned out very great balls that I can use.

Most reviews I have read say this ball dies and it sucks and all. I agree that if it is not well taken care of, it will die quickly. I use Neo-Tac's Liquid Sandpaper and a Green Scotch Brite pad and I must say it restores the cover stock to almost new, and I have had the ball for about 2 years now. (I bought it used). It is listed as a heavy oil ball, but I don't find it useful for heavy oil, I usually turn to my Speed Zone in that case. I have had a high series of 789 with this ball, and I am maintaining a 204 average at my present house, which keeps rising every week. I can safely say, buying this ball used was the best move I made in bowling.

Watch out...this ball is great on league and sport conditions. be aware that you have to know to put it away when it is dry bc this ball will just hook right into the gutter. I wish this ball was not discontinued because it is still my favorite. viewers who said this ball is made for light to medium oil, i do not know how that is possible, this ball is perfect for lots of oil. if you can find this ball, but it...I got mine used for fifty dollars and it was well worth it. its about 4 years old and still hooking well. make sure you let the oil out of it from day to day.

I've had this ball for some time. I absolutely love it. The ball rolls up early, goes down to the break point and hooks only once. I've noticed that some other balls tend to hook then hook more. This ball is an exception. The break point is very distinct making it easy to make adjustments. This ball works best on good mid-lane oil with good backends. Can shoot lights out with backends. Pin carry is EXCELLENT. the ball hits like a truck. Just gotta hit the 1-3 and everything will go most of the time. Awesome ball... I'm around looking for one that rolls like it. Oh yeah it also works great on sport shots. Obviously nothing is forgiving on a sport shot. This ball will definitely give you a consistent reaction on a sport shot making it easier to hit the 1-3.

LIKES:This ball has some of the best pocket power. I never thought I would care too much for a ball with a lot of roll... but now I am proved wrong. Use this for the Outside shot on Heavy Oil, so take it for a ride on a drier shot. DISLIKES: HPH is a great ball... but it does a little problem... it's sometimes a little radical. You have to hit your mark dead on with this in order to get the best results. VERY HIGH MAINTANENCE!!(sp?). I have had it 5 months, and gone to the Oven 6 times! The surface of the ball just eats up oil. Also, resurfacing the ball will come in handy as it takes nicks like the old-school rubber balls (ok... maybe not as much... but u get the idea)! OVERALL: Overall, it's a great ball for the long haul. I prefer to break it out on Medium Heavy to Heavy lanes, place it down on the 5th board and rev it like all hell. The ball can also be played with the Deep line... but I have found that it has a slightly less dependible first ball. On heavy oil

This ball has to be my favorite zone I have ever thrown down a lane. It hooks like a madman, and is still very controllable. I can play 90% of the lane with this ball by making minor adjustments to its surface. I have played bone-dry lanes with my HPH, by just polishing the heck out of it, while playing it in the thickest of soup, by just roughing it up a bit with the sander. The only bad thing about this ball, is how quickly it soaks up oil and dirt. I bake mine about twice a month, and resurface it every other month. Other than that, Brunswick has a gold mine in this one!

Great ball to have it work like a train it just rolles right over the pins its great for oily lanes to cut through the oil it also absorbs oil really well doesn't take to long to get dull which it then hooks more. This is the first ball I have ever shot over a six hundred series with and I'm very impressed great for shooting 10 pins too. If you are a starting bowling person this ball might not be for you because it requires someone with a little experience to control it because it has such a hook to the pocket but if you are a more experienced bowler this ball is for you.

I had mine drilled full hook and pluged that up beause it rolled out 15 ft. down the lane I got it drilled less hook and it still rolled out 20 - 25 ft. down the lane it had no power what so ever a lot of 7 - 10's were left more than any ball I own sometimes it would hook of the lane other times it went straight other times it was perfect this ball was very inconsitant in reaction. I got rid of this ball a fast as I could I traded inthis ball for a Demolition Zone that ball kicks butt NO ONE GET THIS BALL ITS A WASTE OF MONEY BIG TIME I spent like $400 in a few months because of this ball<scr
