While Asymmetric in appearance, the Zone X Low-Diff. core design is dynamically symmetric and behaves like a traditional symmetric core design. Thus, even though it is 4-sided, the Zone X Low-Diff.l can be drilled using the included techniques developed for symmetric core balls. The Zone X Low-Diff. is a low differential ball (Rgdiff.=0.024”) to help guard against over-flaring, which can cause early roll and inconsistent breakpoints. Over the past 5 years almost every ball introduced has had a high differential which works well for average rev rate players on typical house conditions. This practice has caused those bowlers with higher rev rates to feel that they have to place the pin in a weak position (5” or more from axis) to have any hope of getting a good ball reaction. The lower differential in the Zone X Low-Diff. allows a wide range of drilled reactions to be created. To max-out the reaction of the Zone X Low Diff., high rev rate players will need to drill leverage pin positions, while more average rev rate players

I found one online, 15LB, 1.5 Top and a 1.5" Pin. Drilled the ball to roll early and with the cg directly underneath it in a straight line down. Not sure of how used it was prior to getting it but my proshop said it had many games on it. Ball hits harder on dry when the reaction is forced from the ball but even on oil, ball can carry and hit when used correctly. Allows great control as the ball rolls like a urethane Turbo and Blue Hammer (in between in regards to amount of hook) and hits with the power of resin and a solid core.

I just recently traded my shock zone pro to my friend with this ball. This is a very good and ideal ball for dry and sticky lanes. Just practiced with it once, I came to the baowling lanes at around 10:30 PM when the lanes were very very sticky the first game i had with this ball i had very good score of 190, and a couple of 180s for me its a very good outcome noting that it was my first time to use it. I recently was having problems with my amf victory when the lanes became very very dry, and i needed a reactive ball for dry lanes, before i was using my target zone as a substitute when the lane was very dry but the carry was just not enough for me, and it was just really intended for spare shots. So I traded in my old ball for this one and I guess, this was a very good trade. Now I'm looking forward to those nine to twelve game marathons i would be joining knowing that I have everytihng I need to win some.

I have my X Zone drilled with pin at 4", CG at center of grip. This ball is the best dry lane ball I've ever thrown. Has a smooth, even arcing movement. Even if the heads are fried, the ball still gives great length before making its move. When this ball hits the pocket, pins scatter. To me, this ball hits nearly as hard as the Morich Colossus (believe it!!). I only wish i had more opportunity to use this one, because I am most consistant with this ball than any other ball I have. The only downside to the X Zone is that I can't use it as much as I'd like to. One of Brunswick's best. Ever.<scri

Ball Specs- 16lbs., 3" pin, 2.5oz top weight. Drilled this ball with the standard label drill to use as a dry lane ball. This ball is great when you need to get a ball through dry heads. This ball from Brunswick actually does what it says. This ball is still a little excessive on scroched lanes. I used this ball at a Tournament on the second shift and was playing 30-5 because they were so dry. But it is a good ball to pull out of your bag when you want to tighten your line up on lanes with some oil. Careful though, too much oil and the ball will never turn over. This ball isn't for rookies, you have to know when the time is right to throw it. Not usable for the first ball out of the bag to gauge the lanes either. All in all it is a great single purpose ball. My main problem is that when I recently changed all my equipment to 15lbs. I couldn't get this ball anymore which further lead to me turning my back on Brunswick. I doubt I will ever own another Brunswick product again.
