Affordable. Versatile. Lethal. Introducing the Hawk, the newest weapon in the AMF arsenal. The Hawk combines affordability and performance in one lethal package. Its dual torque block technology offers you the best of both worlds, combining better length through the front of the lane with a strong-hooked wallop on the back end. The Hawk is versatile enough to handle any lane conditions and any bowler skill level. And because it's affordably priced, the Hawk is every bowler's dream. And every pin's nightmare.

This is a 14# ball with a one and a half inch pin. I bowl without useing my thumb and drilled this ball without a thumbhole. Cg between fingers and pin next to ring finger. It left half an ounce of top weight. The ball gets good length and the covers a lot of boards late. Even though the backend is really strong it is fairly easy to read. Out of box finish was matte, and the ball hooked to much for the oil volume I see so I polished the ball. The ball polishes very well. My only complaint with this one is that it has tended to leave a lot of solid nine pins due to lack of deflection. I'm confident that I'll work that out in time. The Hawk is a nice ball that can handle any of the mediums with proper cover prep. Its main feature is a strong controllable backend with good length. AMF has rereleased this ball as both the Enfuego and the Valor.
