I took a shot with this ball and picked it up on Ebay for $29.00 including shipping. I wanted something that wouldn't go quite as long as my Track Crash but would cover about the same number of boards. I punched it up label leverage for the first week of the season and was not disappointed. This thing reacts a lot like my Track Crash except it hooks up a little sooner and doesn't have quite as dramatic of a flip. It covers about the same number of boards and keeps the pins low on the deck so any scouts and messengers (of which there are quite a few) stay where they can do the most good. These balls are out of production but the Super Scamp is still around and from what I've seen of that ball, it has a bit more flip on the back end but otherwise is very similar to the Scamp. If you can get one of these, get it. For the price / performance combination, it can't be beat.

Ball Specs: 15 pounds Top Weight: 1.5oz Pin out: 1-2 inches Factory Surface I picked up my Scamp about two months ago. I wanted something to be able to give me some control and predictablity when running into shorter patterns as well as some mediums and I have problems with. Also I wanted to try out the new AMF line that I have been reading a lot of great things about. I drilled up my Scamp 5 1/4" 90 degree, this put the cg in the middle of my grip with the pin about an 1 inch above it. I kept the coverstock out of box. I first threw it out on a broken down New Years Eve house shot. The lanes had around 50/60 games thrown on it and not a speck of oil out there. The Scamp preformed well above my expectations. It cleared the heads like a beauty, never once wanting to check up soon at all. When it got to the midlanes, it really didn't do much only until the back part of the midlanes. That's when it start to pick up a roll and drive through the breakpoint. Once it

First about the ball before drilling: 14.4onces, 3 inch pin, 3.0 top. Because my PAP is 3.5 and ball's with a med. RG's-go way to long and past the break-point. Me and Paul Yoder decided to drill this ball with about a 1/4 once negative with no finger weight. The result has been phenomonal! I have yet to throw a series lower than 700 IN 3 WEEKS! On medium-light lane conditions, I have the option to throw as much rev as the lanes will allow, and when they dry-up, I simply move right and flatten out my hand position and continue to kill the pins! I throw with a Medium rate of speed with a fair amount of revs and no matter how hard I try, I can't make the pins fly which for me causes splits. This ball moves pins with ease! This ball is so great that I still can't believe it costs under $100.00!---- Update 1/3/06, My Scamp was stolen a few month's ago but I have recently found another regular Scamp that I hope to use with success in an upcoming scratch tournament with a Sport condition,
