It's back...The Pulse, from Columbia 300®. How have you survived so long without one? Well, its time to take your game off life support and bring it to a higher level. This Crimson Red classic incorporates the hottest coverstock of the decade, SUPER-FLEX Resin, with the original pressurized polymer core, including the Ceramicore satellite center. The core creates 2-3 inches of track flare, due to its .026 differential Rg. As you remember, the Pulse delivers a smooth, controllable ball reaction. The result is a consistent, predictable ball motion on most common lane conditions. So get a Pulse! You can't live without one! Core Technology: Pressurized Polyme Core with fired, undrillable, Ceramicore® satellite. Core Technology Benefits: Forgiving arc minimizes over/under reaction. Ceramicore supplies 4-6% more energy transferred to the pins, compared to unfired imitations. Coverstock: SuperFlex Coverstock Benefit: Unequalled hooking characteristics. This aggressive reactive shell produces skid through the heads and a sharp turn on the backend. Best ball i have owned. 2-300s and probably 40+ 700 series. Smooth arc with good hitting power from any angle i needed. Unfortunately after a resurfacing it died and havent been able to revive it

Got used with only a few games on it and it has been the best ball i have owned. 2 300s and probably 40 700 series later. Was my go to ball for years. Smooth arcing ball. Very forgivable of pulls and swings and good carry

me and my ball driller decided to try an " controlled backend " ball and it seems to be an success when the lanes are dry and we have really drilled this ball so i can learn to put hand on the ball so i can rev up on the ball easier at other places because i have lost hook and this ball is pretty good until it starts leaving dead flush 8 - 10s and 7 - 9s but i can take this ball and play straight up in oil and swing it in dry but this ball has accomplished my high game of 289 ( with the front 10 )

OK, so Columbia brings back a "legend". Me, I'm easy on manufacturers, I think they put out good stuff, in general, and have heard wonderful things about this ball. I need something that isn't jumpy for wet-dries and lighter conditions. So, I pick up one of these. Been trying to find someplace to use it for quite a while. No luck. Oh, it isn't jumpy, drilled pin in with the CG on the centerline and the pin directly under the ring finger. But hit? OK, where my 7x5 drilled pearls blow through the pins, this one is leaving 5 pins, weak eights and flat and wrap tens. And sevens. Didn't have to worry about 9s or 4-9s, generally a problem, but geeze, at what price? Yeah, I know most of the folks love the ball. For me, well, my urethanes hit better. Five is generous.

Great ball very controlable first ball out of the bag. It is so smooth down the lane and it just drives hard in the back end it is shocking. first night i took it out everybody was amazed at how much it hooked. even i was kinda suprised! I shot 744 on a shot that was pretty much dry for alot of people. Oh yeah i'm a lefty. but the leftys' were complaining about it being dry. Well i took it home and the next day my friend calls me up and asks me to go to a different bowling alley so he could try out a new ball that he just got El Nino X-It. So we walked in, got our lanes and started bowling. well the shot looked oily so i pulled out the quantum jade. I threw my first shot and it just skid the whole way down the lane so i pulled out the response and it did the same thing so i put them away and i decided to have a little fun and i got the pulse. I threw it down the lane not really careing where i hit and the ball just jumped right into the pocket. i was suprised, really suprised

My arsenal includes three new pulses (two solid and one pearl) Two are drilled the same (solid and pearl) ... pin is under the ring finger (4 1/2 from pap), cg bumped way out, and big hole on vertical axis line (10:30 drilling or 25 degrees). Each ball has the same surface (1200 wet sanded, no polish). The solid matches up well on fresh and broken down league patterns. The pearl is difficult to control (snappy). My other solid Pulse is drilled 5 by 4 1/2 (75 degree drilling) shined up for drier conditions. Flare is minimal. I find the remake Pulse flares less than the original.<scri

I had this ball drilled label leverage. Has a good 200 - 250 games on it. The CG is right smack dab in the middle of the palm. Pin to the right about an inch and knocked down a quarter of an inch for those who don't know what a label lev drilling is. When I first got this ball, it did one bad thing for me. It had so much hook in it, I had to look at the 6 pin just to get the ball in the pocket. However, I finally adjusted to it after 15 or so games, and started blasting the rack with it. It's significantly increased my average by 15 or so pins. then again, I only came up from a plastic ball. :) I'm looking for another NIB Red Pulse for a reasonable price. 2-3" pin.
