They say the brighter the color, the deadlier the venom and the new Hyper Venom is no exception. The color of the Hyper Venom isn’t the only thing that is striking. This new addition to the Venom line pairs the Gear core with new Propulsion MXR Pearl Reactive coverstock for a lethal combination. Proceed with caution: the new Hyper Venom is the most angular Venom to-date and is deadly on light-moderate volumes of oil.
The Hyper Venom is the first ball in the Venom line to utilize Propulsion cover technology. Building from Propulsion cover formulations previously found in the Supra Rally and Nuclear Forge; the Hyper Venom features new Propulsion MXR Pearl Reactive technology. This cover is tuned to create more down lane motion than the ExJ VIP Sigma, while providing more traction in the oil than a Supra Rally.
At the heart of the Hyper Venom lies the Gear core, a reliable juggernaut. Previously found in the Venom Shock, the Gear core is a proven force in the world of bowling. Featuring a low RG / low Differential, this fast spinning, low flaring core promises stability in the mid-lane without the risk of burning up due to excessive flare. A 5500 LSP finish provides plenty of length to clear the fronts while retaining energy for a vicious backend bite.
WHEN TO USE:
- Speed Dominant Bowlers - For bowlers who throw the ball hard and/or have lower rev rates, the Hyper Venom is valuable due to its unique combination of core and coverstock. Many speed dominant bowlers have difficulty using higher RG pearl balls because they struggle to get their ball to hook early enough even in friction. The fast-spinning Gear core helps in these situations while still having a low enough differential to deal with higher friction environments.
- Balanced - The Venom line is a staple in the sport of bowling for balanced bowlers because it is so reliable on moderate oil conditions. The Hyper Venom gives bowlers a clear and simple step down from their Venom Shock when it is just a bit too smooth in transition or too early on the lane. Keeping the same core in your hand and simply switching to a cleaner and faster responding coverstock is a great solution to transition in league or tournament play.
- Rev Dominant - For bowlers whose rev rate outmatches their ball speed, the Hyper Venom will be a great ball for league night on moderate to high friction house shots and moderate length tournament patterns when making the move to steeper angles.

Motiv Hyper Venom
Heard about this ball having a little more pop off the spot, but after punching one I was wrong. It has quite a bit more, but not too much. With a 4.5x0 pap, 265rpm, 15mph, and a 60x5x30 layout, that alone did not create the increased pop of the spot. The Propulsion cover adds a stronger finish without being unpredictable. This was a common sight on a PBA Ballard 36' as well as a beat up 43' house pattern. Once I toss it on a fresh house, I may bump it up to five stars.

MOTIV HYPER VENOM
The Hyper Venom is a massive upgrade from the Fatal Venom. Bringing back the Gear core wrapped in a new Propulsion MXR Pearl cover. This ball provides a clean motion through the mid lane with massive backend potential. Speed Dominant: Benefit when bowling on high friction lanes or low volume Rev Dominant: During transition or when looking to open up the lane. Balanced bowlers: Benchmark Pearl When first ball out of the back starts to see the midlane early and burn up, the Hyper Venom is the next ball out of the bag. Fear not moving in and opening the lanes with this ball. Fear not throwing it at the ditch. This ball has incredible backend motion and massive motion through the pins A staple in any bag

Hyper Venom
The new MOTIV Hyper Venom is a perfect shiny benchmark ball. If you need something to go longer, but still have smooth and controllable motion, this ball is the one. The new Hyper Venom has the Propulsion MXR cover, which allows the ball to get through the front part of the lane very clean, but still read going into the back part of the lane, and give you a smoother transition off the spot to allow for more control.
