Temper is sure to cause a fuss. With the Legion core shape and our new MP Gen I veneer, it performs best when you need a clean entry through the front with angularity on the back end. Temper comes 2000 grit Abralon sanded and polished surface with Powerhouse Factory Finish. This makes for a great combination of control with raw power. The Temper has all of the qualities to be a winner and have your competition throwing a tantrum.

I think I probably like this ball better with a stabilizing wheel somewere in the core. I can't get a full read on the lanes with this ball and sometimes I'm just clueless to where the axis is heding and where the ball is going. I rarely have time enough to big adjustments on hand release and ballspeed. However, it's not totaly useless, I keep it sinse when the conditions match, this ball's hit is awesome and maby I should scuff the surface to make that happen more often! I desided to use it only on a fresh shot where there are less variables to handle. Drilled with pin under and between the fingers a near the COG-line along with the CG, the ball doesn't overreact on the dry and it gets pretty consistent. As soon as oil starts to move from the heads down the lane though, it gets like trying to keep a wobbeling motorcycle on the road and the ball goes back into the bag.

This ball hits harder than anything i have ever seen. Its only 15lbs and it is hitting harder than my 6lb Storm Diablo which sounded like a bomb going off when it hit the pins. The Temper sounds like a freaking 20 car pileup with a bomb going off in the middle of it. By far the greatest ball I have ever thrown in my 8 years of bowling. Within in the first week of having it, I shot 10 250+ games and 4 700+ series. This thing is so freakin crazy. I would not recommend this ball to everyone due to the fact of the huge backend it can have. I love this ball and I will never get rid of it. I plan on buying another one and gettin it drilled to roll up early instead of for more length.

Let me start by saying that I'm a very competitive beginner. I took up bowling 6 weeks ago just to pass time over the winter. Little did I know, but now I'm addicted. The past six weeks I've been use "house balls" exclusively. Testing out different grips and styles. I finally settled in with the 2 finger grip throwing across the 2/3 arrows. I had no idea that house balls were killing me until an old-timer gave me advice. I was averaging in the 140's... and topped out at 178. Then came the Track Temper..... I went to the local pro show and bought the ball... I had it drilled with the pin above the ring finger. I was so excited that I needed to test it out immediately. I bowled 3 games with the ball right out of the box... no weights, no tips, nothing... The first game was a bit rough... huge jump going from a house ball to the Temper. I ended up shooting 149. Mind you I've never before broken the 200 barrier..... The 2nd game I found the ball's groove. Strike
