I had this ball drilled 5 x 5 to handle carrydown and spotty conditions better. After drilling, the scale reflected neutral side weight. I was a little hesitant with this arrangement, but I tried it anyhow. No regrets. This ball will clear drier heads and retain a crapload of energy to turn into the pocket. On my typical league shot, I throw this ball 16.8 - 17mph, over 14 out to 2--with about half as much hand as Tommy Jones. Even on wood lanes, tournament conditionds, I keep this ball for the later games. I have a Full Throttle and Overtime for the early games, but the HexPlosion handles carrydown like no other. Just go buy the damn thing.

This Hexplosion I just bought was label drilled. Before going down for play this one,I think it will be a big curve ball but easy to predict. However,I was wrong for the layout given to it.Actually this ball moves horrible wild on the backend with a un-stoppable backing power.WOW!!Amazing...I can use it go thru from the outside first arrow straightly then hit 7 pin with a break point at 40 feet of lane.Even much more wilder than my Xception... Generally speak, this is a great ball who's looking for bigger hook on the lanes. But for me,too wild...I need to reduce the side weight by drill another balance hole in short. For you,I suppose you to have one.Ever enjoy a outstanding hook ball yet??This is the best choice you need!! Play it carefully, otherwise the pin may broke up by the big Hexplosion caused... Just play it!!

The Hexlplosion is smooth. It clears the heads easily when they start dry out. If you can find dry in the backends it will get through some carrydown. The particle coverstock with the coat of delayed reaction I put on it does not overreact. This has been the best dry lane ball from Track that I have used to date. More than likely with the recent strong releases of the Rule, Xception, GP2, Arsenals and Freakazoid the Hexplosion will be overlooked. It is a shame because this ball can be a great addition to any bowler's lineup. As mentioned, the cover is light load particle, but it backends like a reactive ball.

this ball will work any way you throw it. normal shot for me with it is about 17 to 8. it reads the lane well and carries better than most of my other track balls. I have had several dry lane balls and this is my favorite. compared to the dry heat it is not as strong on the back end ...compared to the hot rod by storm it continues thru the shot ...i had several problems with the hot rod not finishing...i have 8 track balls and this one goes with me every league and tournament i bowl in .. everyone needs one of these in the bag!!!
