Track Champ Bowling Ball

Knock'em down for the count. The Champ's design offers a perfect balance between density, geometery, core and coverstock. All so you'll power down the lane with a smooth transition from roll to hook. With its keyhole-shaped core to clear the heads and close in hard, plus the undefeated ProTracktion coverstock to bite through heavy oil, it's unstoppable. Throw the kind of punch only a ChampTM delivers. Our Heavyweight Champ Core Technology achieves a perfect match between core, geometry, density and coverstock. The result? Pin splitting power with a smooth transition from roll to hook. And thanks to our keyhole shaped core, this pile driver clears the heads and closes harder than any other ball we make. Combine that with our undefeated ProTracktionTM coverstock for heavy oil, and you've got one hell of a fighter. The Champ. It'll send your opponent down for the count.

this ball is great. i polished it to get a little variety. most of my stuff i have is for just about the same stuff. does similar stuff. the only thing that changes is just how it gets there. this rolls up early basically right off my hand which is a little strange but thats what it does. then it still stores energy and arcs in the backend. thats why i say smooth and predictable. polishing it gets it to skid a little bit. making it turn a little later but a lot less. but dont say that it doesnt turn a lot still.

This was my first performance ball after my Brunswick Groove Reactive and I learned a lot with it. Factory finish on the ball works well, but ball lacks finish on anything but dry lanes. If the ball surface is sanded, backend is gained, but be prepared to clean the ball with solvent- not just wipe it down- about every 3 frames. Ball will pick up roll about 1/3 the way down the lane even if few revs are put into the ball. Synthetic is not this ball's friend. Overall, keep it on drier, wood lanes, and buy stock in rubbing alcohol or acetone.

I would recommend this ball to anyone. A very good arsenal ball. Just be prepared to shoot the 10 pin I shot my high game ever with this ball(289). I like the line to the pocket and I love knowing what the ball is going to do when I set it down. Not a ball with alot of hook but is hard to control when the lanes dry up. I have factory drillings for the maximum roll. About average length. Great for you average house conditions during league play. No-tap Warrior. When it comes to bowling there is nothing like a champ!

This is the Trackball that won me over. Before this came out I could name all the balls I played but i had no idea of manufacturers. The Champ wasn't my first particleball and it didn't grip the synthetic lanes better than for ex the Brunswick Pro Zone Deep Violet, but it sure gave the words pinmix and pinaction a new meaning to me. Even though the RG is high i never felt there was a resistance lifting and turning this core, not with the lable drilling a started out with, nore the CG towards PAP layout it has now. But then again i always plays it hard arround first arrow, allowing it to preserve its energy and not wasting it on tremendous hooks.Yes, I still pick it up whenever it seams impossible to open up the lanes because the old Champ still knows the shortest way to knockout.

Likes - This ball seems to hold a big area on the lanes. I have thrown a few that didnt think would snap back.... then out of no where, it carries a light pocket strike. If your looking for a ball that does alot of work on the lanes by itself, this is the one. Dislikes - The ball tends to just completely fall apart on dry or medium oil lanes. I have brought it out of the bag, just to see solid 8's and 10's all night long. Overall - On a scale of 10 Hook 8, Backend 9, Carry 8

I have 2 of these, one drilled 4 1/2 x 1 1/4 with the mas bias in the early roll position.which i drilled to give me an aggressive, early rolling ball in oil.And the 2nd is 4 x 4 leverage with the mass bias at the strong position.I have some polish on this one.It tends to give me a touch more length and back-end.Both balls work very nicely on the med/heavy oil and give me 2 slightly different motions. For anyone that needs extra roll or having trouble getting the ball to build energy, this is an excellent choice. The only dislike i could mention is on med/drier lanes or strong back-ends it could be a bit uncontrollable and overly aggressive.Im interested in others thoughts or comments too, My e mail address is vze34mpc@verizon.net thanks
