Track 505C2 Bowling Ball

Manufacturer’s Intent: Our goal with this new release was to make an even better version of the original 505C. We tried several different options but settled on making one minor tweak and updating the cover to match up better with today’s bowling environment. Core: We kept the original Kinetic core shape due to it’s past successes. We changed the core material which allowed us to slightly raise the RG and lower the overall differential. The core modification gives the new 505C2 more push through the front part of the lane thus storing more energy for the back end of the lane. Cover: Updating the cover was the most important change we made with the 505C2. Our Gen MC (Moderate Continuation) coverstock creates less friction in the oil compared to the cover we used on the original 505C.

I have not drilled a 5 series ball that I have not liked yet. I have a 505T that tends to hook a lot, later in the evening, or later in a tourney block. I can use the 505C2 from start to finish. I can start typically around 15-17, and make small moves right as the transition starts. Because it is polished OOB, it tends to not chew up the heads. It makes a little bit of a sharp corner, but nothing that can not be controlled. The modified Shuttle core is very smooth and stores energy for the pin deck. Hits like a freight train in my hands.
