The Axiom Pearl might have just set a new personal record for the fastest that a ball has ever made it into the trusted, "has to go everywhere" pile for me when packing for a tournament. It's exactly what you would expect - a pearlized version of the NeX coverstock from the original Axiom and the exact same core. It provides more traction and stability in oil than any other shiny ball that I've ever used - if you have an R2S Pearl ball that's going too long but equipment like a Phaze II or Axiom are hooking too early, put the Axiom Pearl in your hand and you're off to the races. I don't have any backup blanks of this ball... yet. Because I can already promise you that I'll be drilling more of these. If you don't have this ball you're missing out!

Storm Axiom Pearl Ball Review by PJ Haggerty After having a ton of success with the original Axiom, I was stoked to learn about the Axiom Pearl. As expected, the Pearl is a cleaner version with a quicker response time. I've loved the Axiom Pearl thus far and it goes everywhere with me. I've been extremely impressed with how well it compliments the original Axiom and can be used on so many different patterns. I've drilled one Axiom Pearl so far and love it. I drilled it identical to my original Axiom (5 x 4). This puts the pin above my bridge and I also left the surface alone. After using it for a couple months, I've have had the most success when my angles have been open and I need a ball to be cleaner through the front with a quicker response time. As mentioned before, it's been a perfect compliment to the original Axiom. I've also been able to use it after my Omega Crux and UFO have slowed down. If you need a low RG, quick response ball that compliments the Axiom, Omega Crux, and UFO, you need to drill an Axiom Pearl! #StormNation

The Storm Axiom pearl is to me the strongest Pearl in the Storm Line today. Love the original Axiom especially on the fresh and larger volume patterns. So I couldn't wait till the pearl came out. As when the OG Axiom starts to labor the Pearl is perfect compliment. The Axiom Pearl just doesnt stop coming downlane. Very strong arcing backend motion. Plus the Axiom Pearl carries real well and keeps the pins real low. Plus the Axiom has great self appeal with its bright colors. Orientation: Right Handed Rev Rate: 400 RPM Speed: 16-17 MPH PAP: 4 ½ over and ½ up Location: Enterprise Park Lanes, Springfield MO Pattern: High Volume THS VLS Layout: 5 x 4 x 2 1/2 Dual Angle Layout: 50 x 5 x 40 I wanted an Axiom Pearl from the minute I threw my Axiom. I love the OG Axiom but it is early and strong. I put the same pin up layout on the Axiom Pearl and it is the PERFECT compliment. It is cleaner than the OG by a good deal but it definitely hits the midlane hard and has the Axiom shape I loved with the OG. Sometimes super strong Pearls aren't the best because they're just too slow, so they're clean, But hard to get through the deck in the transition. The Axiom Pearl continues a bit more letting me use it much longer than I expected. If you love the OG Axiom, but need something cleaner, get an Axiom Pearl.

The new Axiom Pearl features the same low Rg, high differential Orbital core found in the original Axiom. The coverstock on this new release is an all new NEX pearl. This new cover provides excellent traction in the midlane without sacrificing any backend motion. This ball is a great compliment to the original Axiom as well as any of the big asymmetrical balls. The Axiom Pearl will give you the control of the midlane you need but will also provide a very strong backend motion. The pin carry with this ball is some of the best I have ever seen! I am not usually a fan of pearls on my local wet/dry house patterns, but the Axiom Pearl is the exception. This ball allows the bowler to play deeper on the lane where there is a higher volume of oil and still has enough energy stored to carry the corner pins. This ball is a must have in anyone's bag!

Storm Axiom Pearl Layout: Pin 4 x 4 x 2 Rev Rate: 325 rpm Testing information: 41-foot THS (medium to light volume) Bowling Center: Fulton Bowling Center Kegel Machine – Brunswick Anvilane The Storm Axiom Pearl utilizes the NeX Pearl Reactive coverstock wrapped around the new Orbital Core. The shelf appeal of the Axiom Pearl stands out with the Cobalt/Graphite/Candy Apple color scheme. As far as the performance report cards goes, the Axiom Pearl was stronger than I anticipated when compared to the Axiom Solid. I have Axiom Pearl a couple boards stronger overall. The Axiom Pearl reads the mid-lane rather well for a pearl. The reaction of the Axiom Solid is smoother overall. We saw the same thing when helping a friend with his game. Disclaimer – A house pattern can give a false impression so this could change when used on a sort pattern, which is often the case. I am looking forward to using this one in tournament play. #Stormnation

Holy freaking cow. This ball is GOOD. I was skeptical because the Axiom wasn't my favorite out of the box. It took some time and effort for me to understand the characteristics of the Axiom. The Axiom Pearl is a MONSTER. Immediately out of the box this ball was pretty clean and provided consistent motion off of the breakpoint. Because the cover base is NeX, you won't see a violent downlane motion. Instead, you'll find a clear and more forward motion than most of our pearls. The Axiom Pearl is really a home run. I was able to use it a few weeks back to shoot my very first PBA 300! It gave me easy length and controllable downlane motion on the long pattern we were bowling on.

The Storm Axiom Pearl is a ball for your bag when you need that little extra pop on the backend yet still that controllable look. I drilled mine with my favorite 5x5x2 with out of the box factory finish. It gets through the heads clean, reads the mid-lane a little later, as it should with the pearl coverstock, and finishes very strong and angular. Man it hit with so much power, pins explode. When it hits the dry look out, it gets moving. I was able to play the oil line on the THS and move in deeper from the start. You'll have to increase speed as the oil goes away or move in. Stand Left, throw right and you won't have a problem with this one recovering. It's the perfect compliments to the Axiom Solid when you need longer and stronger. My PAP is 5-1/8 and 1/8 up. Usually around 15-16mph, I'd probably be classified between and tweener and cranker. See my ball review video on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/uoC_yTsbER4

The Axiom Pearl features the NeX pearl coverstock and symmetric Orbital core. NeX Pearl is the strongest pearl formula in the catalog, and is nano based, so while polish and the pearl helps it clear the fronts, it's still fairly strong and on the smooth side for a pearl. The Orbital core comes in at a 2.48 RG and .050 differential in 15 pounds, it's very early rolling, strong, and slightly forward rolling. It's deceptively strong for how easy it gets down the lane and how smooth it is, but it gets traction through quite a bit more oil than something it seems to be similar to like a Trend or an Idol Pearl. The Axiom Pearl has quickly become a bowler favorite, netting some huge scores because of its balanced blend of shape, control and hook. With 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, for hook potential I rate it a 7, for length I rate it a 6, and for backend I rate it a 6. For hook potential it's closest to a Phaze 3, for length it's closest to an Astro PhysiX, and for backend strength, it's closest to an Idol Pearl.

The Axiom Pearl is the newest addition to Storm's Master Line. The Axiom Pearl is the Perfect complement to Axiom which was released prior to the shutdown of everything. Both Axioms utilized the Orbital Core which is very versatile and forgiving. The Axiom Pearl is wrapped with the NEX Pearl Reactive with allows some length but exact grip in the midlane compared to other pearl coverstocks. The layout I used on the Axiom Pearl with Pin under the ring finger with the cg kicked out. The numbers should be around 45 X 4.5 X 70 based on my axis point (5 5/8 over and ¾ up). I have used this layout before in solid or hybrid coverstocks and it was pretty smooth and controllable. The layout helped the Axiom Pearl start up and was pretty aggressive in the middle part of the lane. On the Fresh, for me this Axiom Pearl was awesome and very forgiving. Pearls and I on the fresh are usually a bad experience! However, as the league session continued the carry down and bad shot making and did not do any surface prep on the Axiom Pearl... Carry down generated a severe over under reaction. The next league session I did my usually surface prep with a 2000 pad and it was still the bomb on the fresh and carry down was no problem! Shot making is an issue... very rusty. The Axiom Pearl is a must have in your bag very predictable with strength where you need it!

The Axiom Pearl has not left my bad since I have drilled it. it features the NeX Pearl cover with the Orbital Core. I personally love this piece because I tend to love quick response pearl balls. This and the Axiom Solid are a great 1-2 punch to have in your bag for sure. There has not been a time where I have not thrown this ball.

With any new release showing off new technology, I never allow myself to assume what I'm going to see before throwing the ball. After about 5 shots I realized I was expecting something a bit more angular. No big deal though... what I got was something I was missing in my bag anyway. A strong symmetrical pearl that doesn't go sideways and doesn't need friction to slow down. Like the original Axiom, this ball reads the pattern early but has a surprising amount of energy left for the back of the lane. And for me, that's usually my struggle. Get a ball to slow down early, but still have enough to carry. I find I typically have to sacrifice one for the other. It seems the Axiom is going to give me that look. In my video review, I decided to compare this to the Trend. I could have gone with the low hanging fruit and compared it to the Axiom, but what's the point. The surface alone tells you they're going to look different. When I evaluate a new ball, I like to figure out where it differs from other balls in the same category. Both the Trend and Axiom Pearl have more of an arcing shape on the back end. The difference is, the Trend needs more friction to tip toward the pocket. I found I had to play about 3-4 boards further right to get the same entry into the pocket. The Axiom Pearl gives me the ability to open up angles and error room which is my favorite attribute of any ball. Watch my review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oT2vYRSKidE

Storm Axiom Pearl Ball Specs: Cover stock NeX Pearl Reactive Orbital Symmetric Finish 1500 Polished Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5" Over 1/2 up Rev Rate 300. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed at cameras 15.5 Review: WOW!! This ball is simply amazing! The new Axiom Pearl is the biggest hooking hardest hitting Pearl Ball I have ever used. The new Axiom Pearl even covers more boards than my Parallax. The low RG of the Axiom Pearl helps the ball read the lane and rev up saving a lot of energy and hit from the cover. If this ball finds enough friction it will out move my dull balls. The Axiom Pearl is so good I try to use it whenever I can. I love when a ball comes out that you have absolute trust in the motion and carry which I have with The Axiom Pearl. I feel that when using Symmetric balls you have more forgiveness and can use them longer before a move or ball change occurs. We have been selling these extremely well in the shop and the ball motions for all styles have been great. The Axiom Pearl carries more off hits than anything else I have seen lately. It will be hard to beat the performance of this ball. Summary: The Axiom Pearl is very strong for a shiny pearl. The hit and carry is fantastic. The color is very appealing. Sales on the Axiom Pearl have been outstanding. Glenn Wendel PBA Member Storm Pro Shop Staff gwendel@comcast.net www.stormbowling.com Video Link: https://youtu.be/4S7Ur2aE3b8

Storm / Rotogrip Staffer The Axiom Pearl is a worthy compliment to the Original Axiom. The NeX Pearl cover really lets the Orbital core excel on multiple conditions. The cover is ultra clean through the fronts and stays super aggressive down lane as well. I did have a little bit over under with a pure out of box finish on a wet/dry condition. I used a wore 3000 Abralon to crack the surface, that really help blend out my breakpoint. The Axiom NeX Solid comes out the box 3000 Solid and it is pretty strong out of the gate. Once I had a few games on it, things started to settle in and I started getting comfortable on the lanes. My old go to was a Hyroad when the lanes were hard to read, no I break out my Axiom or Axiom Pearl. Usually the first few balls out of my bag to see how the pattern is playing. I am pleasantly surprised how well the Axiom Pearl reads the backend on oily conditions or wet dry conditions. The driving power is evident and the Axiom Line is a legendary line in the making. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crIGXFbu_Vs

I have the Axiom and knew I was going to get the Axiom Pearl. I figured this would be a good 1-2 combo for me. The Axiom Pearl is smooth through the front of the lane and really pops on the back end. I can choose to start the night with this ball or when the lanes start to transition I can grab this ball. I figure if I start the night with this ball and lanes start to transition, I can grab my Axiom. I am one that when I have to move left I tend to ball up due to my speed and rev rate. Right now my rev rate is down a bit as I have been having some wrist issues. We also did a fit change to help me out with the wrist issues so I have been adjusting to that as well. I feel like with the Axiom Pearl I do not have to worry about my rev rate as this ball still pops on the back end for me. This will definitely be a ball I take to league and tournaments with me. I have been bowling in a sport shot league on Sunday afternoon. We are two week in and have been bowling on the 2011 US Women's Open pattern. This ball is one that I take out maybe game 3 or 4 when the lanes start to see some type of transition. I have not bowled in any tournaments yet this season but I cannot wait to see what this ball with give me in tournaments and at other houses. Sabrina Groves Storm Amateur Staff

Axiom by Storm Bowling Kassy Shumate The first word that comes to mind is, WOW. I'll admit I am kind of bias because symmetrical pearls are my jam but wow, just wow. The motion this Orbital Core creates is simply amazing. I love the original Axiom and I am a huge fan of pearls so this is a slam dunk for me. Superbly clean through the fronts and never gives up on the back. The 8 pin doesn't stand a chance. The only thing I can compare it to was the Roto Grip Hyper Cell Fused, floats so cleanly down lane then BAM. I have a strong feeling we will be seeing a lot of this ball in the upcoming 2021 season.

Introducing the newest addition to the Storm Products Master Line, the brand new Axiom Pearl! The Axiom Pearl features the NeX Pearl Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Orbital Core. The Axiom Pearl is a cleaner, more responsive and, more backend version of the Axiom. The Axiom and, Axiom Pearl are the perfect 1,2 punch that compliment each other perfectly! I am definitely in love with the motion of this ball. So much that I can't put it down. This ball for me is perfect for when my Axiom starts responding to early or, is to smooth and, just doesn't have enough to get there. Storm definitely hit a grand slam with this ball

I strongly believe the Axiom solid is the best new release in the last few years (if you don't have one... go get one!) and seeing the Axiom Pearl go down the lane it's pretty clear that this one is really special too. The pearl has a lot of the same great characteristics as the solid. I am most impressed that even with the pearl cover, the Axiom Pearl still kind of has that strong, grippy, slower response shape. Mine is drilled with the pin in the ring finger which is about 4.5 from my PAP. The best comparison I can make is it reminds me a lot of the Marvel Pearl. And there aren't many pearl balls in Storm's history that have been more beloved than that!

PAP 4 ½ over and 1 up ball speed 15 rev rate 275 Drilling 90x4x30 I drilled the beauty to compare to my current favorite ball, my Phaze 3. Layouts are pretty similar although overall I get about 5-7 boards more hook with a very similar motion through the lane. The Phaze 3 is a touch stronger off the spot down lane but that is mostly because the Phaze 3 is more angular where as the Axiom Pearl is a little bit more forward which gets the ball into a roll just a little bit quicker. So overall more mid-lane dig and stronger reaction. Between the look of this ball and that amazing peppermint smell this ball is going to quickly make it to one of my favorites!
