The Axiom pearl is the newest pearl release in the storm line. This ball is a perfect compliment to the original solid. I absolutely loved the solid and was excited to get the pearl and it did not disappoint. It has the same ball motion as the solid which lets me switch and play the same area when they start to burn up. I had to hit the cover with a 3000 pad just because I wanted it to see the lane a bit sooner during league play. The axiom pearl is a must have

Storm Axiom Pearl is a great compliment to the original Axiom. My Axiom Pearl is layed out with a 5x4x2 just like my Axiom and the only thing I would recomend to do is hit the super shiny cover with 2000 or 3000 just to make it a little less fast in the front of the lane. What I noticed with the Axiom Pearl is that once the front part of the lane is burned up you can move a little left and stay in the same area with your target without losing carry. If your looking for a strong symmetrical pearl then this would be a great addition to your arsenal.

With the success of the Axiom, the Axiom Pearl definitely did not disappoint. It is currently a ball I know when I have it in my hand, I am confident it will roll great. Whether I am playing straight, or almost swinging the whole lane, the Axiom Pearl is amazing. I've also had a lot of success with this on longer patterns once the fronts started to burn up. 10/10 highly recommend.

Ball Specs: Storm Axiom Pearl Cover: 1500 grit NeX™ Pearl Reactive Weight bock: Orbital™ Core (Symmetrical) Color: Cobalt/Graphite/Candy Apple Review: The Axiom Pearl is one of the best pearl bowling balls I have thrown in a long time. What make it special is how predictable the ball motion is, which can be exceedingly rare to see in a pearl bowling ball. But the Axiom Pearl managed to do that and play off what was liked so much about the first Axiom. The Axiom Pearl makes for a great complementary piece of the first Axiom. The thing I really like about this ball is that when the solid becomes to much ball I can easily switch to the pearl and play a remarkably similar line. In the past I have struggled to find a set of bowling balls that would allow me to do this. The Axiom Pearl and Axiom make for a great 1-2 punch in anyone's bag. If you haven't picked one up yet you're missing out on a great piece. Will Tefft will@parklanes.net www.strombowling.com #Stromnation

Review on the Axiom Pearl N2X Pearl Cover 1500 Polished RG:2:48 Dif: 50 The Axiom Pearl is a pearl I have been looking of since I switched to Storm this year. I have been looking for a transition pearl that I could use when the lanes break down and I need the extra backend to get out the corner pins. I am also surprised at how strong the Axiom is being a symmetrical ball. It lets me move in and create a better shape getting the ball to turn the corner and go through the pins, which I struggle with. This is just what I have been looking for a great addition to the arsenal!!!

The new Axiom Pearl in the Master line of bowling balls from Storm, the Bowlers Company, uses the same Orbital core found in the solid version, but with a new cobalt/graphite/candy apple pearl cover called NeX pearl Reactive. This version comes from the factory with a 1500 grit polished finish. The Axiom pearl numbers in 15lb bowling balls is 2.48 Rg with a differential of 0.050. I drilled my Axiom pearl with a 4.5" pin and a 4" pin buffer. This layout puts the pin just below my ring finger, as I have a PAP of 5" straight across. Comparing the pearl Axiom to a solid Axiom drilled with the same pin placement, the pearl is cleaner through the front part of the lane, and is a more pronounced change of direction off the spot. This motion is better suited for when the lanes have a bit of play on them, and the backends have softened up a touch, or when there isn't enough oil in the heads to get a solid Axiom through the front of the lane. The Axiom pearl is also better suited when chasing oil depletion of a pattern throughout the course of a tournament. I have used the Axiom pearl on many different patterns from sport to challenge as well as blended league patterns, and like it a lot. The pearl Axiom is at least a 3 and 2 move in to find more oil than my Idol pearl, drilled the same. The Axiom pearl is on the list for every tournament that I go to that has a pattern of at least 39 feet in length with medium to medium high volumes of oil. Even though the Axiom pearl has a defined change of direction, it is still very useful on more blended patterns and sport shots that have lower left to right ratios. I really like the Axiom Pearl. Not only does it have a great color combination, but the performance on the lanes is outstanding. Seek out your local Storm VIP pro shop and drill an Axiom pearl so that you too can bowl up a Storm!

The Axiom is a perfect ball for medium to heavy oil pattern. The Storm axiom pearl for me is the good complement to my nuclear cell from Roto Grip. The fact that the axiom is an symetric pearl ball with a lower Rg of 2.48 compared to the Nuclear who is assymetric with a upper Rg of 2.52 give me a really good transition ball after that the nuclear begin to lost energy when the oil begin to burned. I'm able to squeeze me inside and the Axiom pass the heads and keep more energy on the back-end. Another great addition to my arsenal !!

The Storm Axiom Pearl is simply amazing. The ball gets through the front part of the lane very clean, stores a ton of energy, and runs through the pins like a MAC truck. What I like most about this ball is that you can attack the lane from multiple spots. Its Versatility allows bowlers to start and finish league without having to make a ball change. This ball compliments any of the stronger symmetric balls like its counter part the Axiom and is a great addition to anyone's bag. If you are looking for a stronger pearl ball look no further.

This ball is great right out of the box. I had mine drilled pin down for more league friendly conditions. This ball exceeded my expectations and was able to use it for most of my league session. The ball reads the lanes very clean and there is a great reaction the lane conditions that we bowl on. I am really impressed and am looking forward to using it more and to see how it works on tournament conditions.

Coverstock: NeX Pearl Reactive Core: Orbital Core RG: 2.48 Diff: 0.050 Layout: 5 ½" Pin to Pap x 6 3/8" MB to PAP x 3" Pin Buffer The Axiom Pearl is a perfect compliment to the very successful Axiom. I had great success with the solid Axiom so I knew this was going to be a ball that had to be in arsenal. I put a layout of 5 ½ x 6 3/8" x 3" which placed the pin the and in the middle of my fingers with the CG just about in the center of my grip. I was looking for a layout that would give me that additional length needed when the Axiom solid started to labor down the lane. This ball allowed me to stay in the same area of the lane as the Axiom solid but retained the energy for the extra few feet down the lane, while going strong through the pins. If you are looking for a compliment to your Axiom, then the Axiom Pearl is a must have. Glen Deutschendorf Storm Bowling – Pro Shop Staff

The Axiom pearl looks good, smells good and rolls great! I really liked the original Axiom for strength and control, but it seemed that when I got in with it I had to be perfect to carry. The Axiom pearl is the perfect answer for this. I can open up the lane with it, giving me miss room right when it hits the dry AND left when I miss in. I have heard a lot of people compare this ball to the Marvel pearl, but I'm not buying it. This ball feels more like a high performance MVP pearl. I see a similar shape off the dry, a very strong controllable shape. Brand new Pearl cover to go along with the once used Axiom core...this ball is a goodie that will make its way into anyones arsenal! Ball Specs: Storm Axiom Pearl Cover: 1500 grit NeX™ Pearl Reactive Weight bock: Orbital™ Core (Symmetrical) Color: Cobalt/Graphite/Candy Apple Review: The Axiom Pearl is SUCH a good piece for several reasons. It lives up to the success of the original Axiom. It is in our opinion one of the best complimentary balls that has come out in a long time. Rarely do you see another ball in a line sell BETTER than the original. It is just as predictable (especially predictable for a pearl cover), just as smooth off the spot, and just if not more powerful than the OG Axiom. The thing we love about this line is that there is a large yet still incredible complimentary difference between the two. Often in a line you may experience that when the solid becomes too much that the pearl counterpart is still either too much or just is not fitting with the pattern. The ability to be comfortable moving to pieces in your bag is important and this is exactly what this line provides. We think that is what people are loving with this 1-2 punch. The layouts on my Axiom Pearls are 5.25 x 30 and 4 x 20. The Axiom Pearl provides the perfect compliment to the original Axiom. It covers a similar amount of boards while being providing the benefits of the pearl cover-stock, cleaner through the fronts and more responsive and angular. However where this ball shines is how well it reads the mid-lane and way it blends the pattern from deep! You can get in trouble with cleaner/shinier pieces on your typical wet/dry league conditions as it tends to want to over read the dry and not hook in the middle. The Axiom Pearl defies this and provides excellent control and inspires confidence when throwing. It is the perfect compliment for the axiom when it begins to get too lazy as you move left. It also has one of most eye popping color combos Storm has given us! Pick one up at your local pro shop soon, this is a can't miss ball.

Storm Axiom Pearl Core: Obrital Cover: NeX Pearl Storm's Axiom Pearl adds a strong symmetric core pearl to the lineup. First thing I noticed was the pearl went a lot longer downlane than the original Axiom---Awesome! I really like when the pearl and solid versions are noticeably different (as far as length goes). I hate seeing a pearl go just a bit longer than the solid. The Axiom Pearl goes ALOT longer than the solid. That extra length help the ball get a sharper reaction. This is a pearl/solid combo that can be easily played off each other---Again, awesome! Big strong symmetric pearl...great for house shots and useful on plenty of patterns.

Layout: 40 x 4 15/16" x 35 The Axiom Pearl has that big skid-flip reaction that Storm has traditionally been known for. It is certainly a totally different reaction than the original Axiom, which was very rolly and controllable. The Axiom Pearl goes left in a hurry when it sees friction down lane, which lends itself to be very good for when you need to open up the lane. It is very clean in the fronts but maintains a good bit of midlane roll from the Orbital core, but it really kicks in to overdrive in the back of the lane. I find it to be best on a variety of medium oil lane conditions. Due to the strong backend, however, it is not the best ball for fresh oil. That is when the original Axiom appropriately comes into play.

I drilled the Axiom pearl 50x4x25 which gives it great length and a very strong backend. The NEX pearl cover is a great combo with the Orbital core. With having the pearl versions of the Axiom and Proton cover its a great go to ball when the lanes burn up alittle. On fresh this ball let me play the outside part of the lane, but when i could more in it really showed its hook potential. Comparing the pearl to the Idol synergy the Axiom is a hair longer, but more backend where the synergy is "smoother", but still strong downlane. Doesn't look bad in the hand either.

For all you Axiom lovers, get ready for the next great addition to the Axiom line. The Axiom Pearl is the newest addition to the Storm line. The Axiom Pearl has the same core seen in the original Axiom with a N2X Pearl Reactive Coverstock. What players will see out of this ball is the same characteristics seen in the Axiom, which is control and predictable ball motion, now in a cleaner and more angular version. The Axiom Pearl is a cleaner and sharper version than the original. I see this ball being best when tougher conditions are on the lanes and you need a cleaner option that's going to give you the most control. I think this ball fits in right above my idol pearl and is probably my first option from going from a solid symmetrical ball to a pearl symmetrical. Clean and smooth ball motion. Only two words to describe it. Axiom Pearl. Get yours at your local Storm VIP Pro Shop.

I am still impressed with how the Axiom goes thru the pins. This ball finished over the 8 pin almost every shot. The Pearl NeX cover, although off the top of the chart as the most aggressive Storm Pearl Nano cover to date, felt as if I didn't have to fight it thru the front part of the lane. No doubt it definitely needs some oil in the heads, but not an excessive amount in order to get this ball down the lane. The really low RG Orbital core spins up very quickly and maintains that all the way thru the pin deck. We saw almost no deflection from this ball when it hit the pocket. The low rev guy could ride the oil line up the track and had a nice smooth, hard motion on the backend. The medium, stroker style bowler was able to play his regular 10 to 5 baby swing and absolutely crushed the pins. I was able to move left of them, between 15 -20 out to 7-8, and this ball mangled the 1-3. It carried everything by staying on the smooth side and never creating any weird angles. A foot or two longer than the original Axiom and little bit more angular, but not snappy. You can read the lanes and what the ball is going to do very easily, which makes adjustments a cinch. It fits very nicely in that Medium/Strong Symmetrical spot covering a ton of lane conditions for various styles of bowlers. #StormNation Ron D'Ambrosio

I am a big fan of the original Axiom so it was a no brainer for me to grab this one and add to my arsenal. I decided to drill this ball pin below the bridge with a 5" pin. What I didn't anticipate is how big this ball really is. I have to stand pretty far left unless there is a bit more volume up front. However, I can get pretty far left and this ball finishes with anger every time! This is by far the strongest pearl in my arsenal which creates a unique spot in my arsenal. This ball would be ideal for speed dominant or rev challenged players who need that big backend help. Go talk to your local PSO about this one and go bowl up a Storm! Storm Axiom Pearl Cover: NeX Pearl Core: Orbital Layout: 5 1/4 x 20 The Axiom Pearl is the clear choice when you have a fair amount of volume with defined friction. The Axiom and Axiom Pearl are similar in overall strength, but the Axiom Pearl is sharper and more responsive to friction. If a bowler has trouble with the original Axiom carrying the ten pin due to early hook, you can't go wrong with the Axiom Pearl as the transitional ball as it will surely increase the angle to the pocket and help carry. The Axiom Pearl is my favorite strong pearl in my bag currently and it has a VERY sharp looking color scheme. Couldn't wait to drill this up since I love the Axiom solid so much. The pearl definitely does not disappoint. I used the same pin up layout as I wanted this to go to when the solid started to slow down to early. The pearl is the perfect step down and does exactly what I hoped. Cleaner through the front with a quicker response down lane while giving me the same look I had to start with the solid. The best solid pearl 2 ball lineup available! #stormnation

Storm Axiom Pearl - 35 x 4 x 70 - 1500 grit polished NeX Pearl cover stock with Orbital Core The next generation of pearl reactive has arrived! I found this ball to rev up quicker then even a Hyroad Pearl and went through the midlane like a rocket ship and hit the pins like they were toothpicks - that was my first reaction when bowling on newer SPL with a 46 ft house pattern with a bunch of 2 to 2's built into the pattern. I usually "struggle" to be consistent on getting the ball to stay in the pocket area because the conditioner moves around so much at this center with other pearl reactives with symmetric cores and Asys are way too strong to recover after a few games on the pair of lanes. Rolled better with 2000 grit done by hand on my second 6 games with it. I will keep it at 2000 grit because it was just a little more controllable after the pattern broke down. The NeX pearl coverstock is the real deal. Stop by our local Matchmaker and give it a try. Axiom Pearl with not disappoint you.

I drilled my AXIOM PEARL up 65 x 4.5 x 35. I have cracked the surface with a used 2000abr pad to help smooth out some of the sharpness of the down lane motion. This layout is a slower responding layout for my game and I wanted to keep the AXIOM PEARL usable. I have thrown this mainly on league patterns of 41 feet and tried it a couple of times on some of the medium longer patterns in the 40-42 ft range. I put it up against the IQ NANO PEARL, ASTRO PHYSIX, and TREND. For me the AXIOM PEARL was more responsive down lane than the IQNP. The TREND responded sharply but after the AP was slowing down so they were a nice progression. The ASTRO PHYSIX was sharper off the spot when the AP had the transition to the TREND. The TREND was the better move as the ASTRO was sharper and forced me to move another 5 and 2 left and give up some angle to the pocket which made my carry go down. Against the IQNP, the AXIOM PEARL was more motion and would be a good compliment to control a pattern that has evolved into a wet/dry scenario where the IQNP has slowed down too much in back. The AXIOM PEARL with some surface would be a great move left into the cliff.
