For the most part this is a great ball, just destroys the pins.... Alot of Backend, and love the way it sends messenger all over the place to take out them sturborn corners.... The only reason it dosnt get a 10 rating is cause it can get really squirily as the day goes on thru the tournament....great on a fresh shot, but when carry down starts to pick up....tends to affect this ball alot....but hey thats why u have an arsenal..... over all a good ball and made me want to maybe try some other storm stuff, but i think im always going to be a Columbia guy

I noticed that all of the balls in the eraser line perform like a high performance ball all though it is a mid price ball. Which is why I was shocked on how the erase-it reacted. It had the strong roll as advertised, but it didn't have the backend that I expected. This ball is best on a medium condition with some carrydown. The problem is that if there is too much oil, the erase-it can't recover. The way it is sanded down to 600 grit, it would need oil other wise it would roll out on you. I would polish it but it would just become a eraser. Compared to the original eraser, it revs up the same, but the eraser had much more backend. I had the same feelings about the boost and blaze, maybe a pearlized ball is just better for me. The erase-it is a good ball, it just wasn't as good as I thought.

I love thid ball it so great I have' not even had it for so lond but I like I went up 2 pounds to a 14 pounds and it really carries better and I really like it and I plan to get a 600 when it counts but I lot I could hook it more because when got in oil I was hoping I could still do out and in with and I did it just was a very big hok I like this ball and I hope it will get me some really high scores and series so I recommend this ball to any body this ball is not the best 10 pin ball to try to pick when dry to have to stand almost in the other lane to pick it but in oil you can stand where you usually would stand it is a great looking ball and smell great and does great to so I love this ball it hits hard and is a nice ball for how much I got it

I THINK STORM GOT A WINNER IN THIS ONE I HAVE NEVER THROWN A STORM PRODUCT AND WAS VERY IMPRESS WITH THE WAY THIS BALL WENT DOWN TURNED TO THE POCKET AND THE HIT WAS AMAZING!! I LIKE THIS INEXPENSIVE BALL. I WOULD BE SCARED TO SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I THREW THIS BALL ON LIGHT OIL... I AM GOING TO A HOUSE THIS WEEKEND THAT HAS A SHOT THAT IS HEAVY INSIDE OUT AND I WILL GIVE THIS BABY A SHOT. I THINK THIS BALL SHOULD DO GOOD I'LL JUST PUT MORE FINGERS IN TO IT. IF IT DONT WORK I STILL HAVE THE FREAK!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE!! BALL WORKED GREAT!! I WISH THEY HAD NOT DISCONTINUED THIS BALL IT WORKS GREAT I HAD TO PUT ALOT OF FINGERS IN IT ON THE OIL BUT OLD STORM DID NOT LET ME DOWN. MY FREAK IS KINDA WORRIED I MIGHT HAVE A NEW BALL IN TOWN!!!<scr

Just a great ball, period. I actually purchased this ball after reading the reviews on here and I can say that they all were right. This ball performs time and time again. The only problems I run into is when the lanes dry up you may have to put the ball up or move your shot alot but what high/end ball isnt like that? It seems to have plenty of bite for heavy oil and is tame enough to handle medium/dry conditions. Have used this ball on all lane types and conditions and it has ERASED the competition! This ball cant be beat for the money involved.

This is an awesome ball for medium heavy oil lanes. It has good backend and niiiiice power. However on heavy oil and some spoty conditioned lanes i do not like to break this ball out. I like the shock trauma or the game by columbia for heavy oil, because the erase-it seems to glide a little bit. it will still hook...just not as much as u'd normally like for some1 playin my line. When this ball is used on the right condition...it will be your dream ball. Finding that condition seems to be the only problem.

Great ball i really enjoy this ball I shot 650 the second night i had it. It is the best ball I think I own. I get thru the head great and good midlane roll and it finishes what it starts. With my style it does leave a few nine pins. but other than that it finishes good. For the price this has got to be one of the best buys on the market. I have two now Going to get the other drilled this week. Going to try a diffrent layout.don't get me wrong the fist is strong.

It was great and im still using it and overall it would be a good ball for bowlers who are high crankers if the dont spin the ball alot. It was a good ball i rolled on of my highest game of my life with it and it was a 279. Its a great ball to have around if the lanes are soaked but if there dry our in for a long night if you have it to hook alot. so overall i liked it till i got my other ball done over so it wouldn't hook as much, it doesnt have too much of a back end as that one does.

I shot 300 with it in practice the second time out with it. Sometimes it's a little flat in the backends, but it carries most of the time. It's more forgiving when you miss outside than inside, unless the shot is too easy. It starts hooking at the right place, and finishes up at the right place. It's a lot like the Shock Trauma in the respect that it seems to react when you want it to, but it's better because I bought it used (although without a bunch of games on it) but it hasn't died yet! It still hooks the same as the day I bought it, and it just loves surface adjustments, it'll polish as well as it will sand, and it's no trouble at all going from one to the other. This is the one ball I've had where I know exactly what it'll do depending on if it's sanded or polished. Very readable, I love it!

I've had this ball for about half a year now and it just keeps getting better. I have over 200 games on this ball and it works better now than when i got it. It works on a variety of lane conditions, but if they are bone dry leave it in the trunk. This ball has helped me increase my average by about 20 pins. It just won't quit. It outhooks my Trauma ER. Storm hit all the marks when they made this one. It seems like it will last forever. If it ever does die I will replace it with a fresh one. Great ball!!

This ball has no weight drilled into it, Finger,Side, Top. None. The pin is directly under my fingers in between them. I threw my Trauma Response at first then the heads burned up just enough so I had to pull this pup out. This is a straight Medium oil ball. I do not think if you have any hand at all its going to be of any use on heavy oil and maybe just a little too strong on drier conditions. I also got in deep with this one because there had been open play on the lanes that I bowled on so its time to put this over the 5th arrow and see what it had. Got my moneys worth, Period. I really like the way this one cranks up thru the midlanes then has enough left for the backends. I normally throw the ball pretty straight but my pro shop guy (Thanks Bob Katzler) drilled this one a little different for me so I could get in the lane and twist it up a little. This ones going to Regional with me also, Really like this one for Medium oil. Hope this helps, Take Care, rickyp......................

Received this ball about a month ago. I left the ball as an out of box dull finish and used it on a league shot with med. oil on synthitic lanes. Found this to be to aggressive, touched it up with a small amount of black magic polish. Now the ball reacts the way that I wanted it to. Haven't shot anything less than 650 and shot 300 the 3rd time using this ball in league. This ball is very versitile weather you want to leave it dull and have it as a heavy oil ball or polish it and create your oun coverstock for what ever type of condition that you would fell comfotable with.

Have this one drilled up w/my favorite and most common drill patern (pin above and right of ring finger, cg lined up with it below, extra hole) and after loving its brother the eraser, expected more of the same, just a little bit eariler being a solid ball instead of a pearl. Boy was i wrong, this ball has no snap for me unless the backend are stripped. First used it sanded on a heavy patern when my eraser was going a little to long, and this didn't move, polished it up, thinking it would have a little more snap, nope, just more skid. Great ball when the backends are stripped, i'll give it that. If it wasn't for that, it would be the first, only and probalby last strom ball i would dislike. The pleasure has been yours. The great one *UPDATE* Wow, i started throwing this at the dry house i bowl at and it is terrific! Holds in the little wet, snaps hard on the dry, and carry is great, have gone front 9 twice in 1 week w/it. Something has come alive in the ball because its moving ever

I bought this ball because the most aggresive ball I had was an ebonite pantera. On a wood lane with carry down my pantera will hook but not carry the 10 due to poor entry angle. It just makes its move too late. I have a visionary midnight scorcher on order so I didn't want to pick up a particle ball while I wait for the scorcher. My pro shop suggested the erase it for me. We lightly sanded the ball to give it some extra bite. This ball hooks about the same # of boards as the pantera, but it makes its move earlier, carries better, and is less sensitive to oil and speed changes. I like it a lot. I'M IMPRESSED STORM

I got this ball about a week ago and couldn't wait to use it in league on Sunday. The league shot is wet in the middle and even wetter on the outside 5 boards. I got it drilled 3 3/8 X 3 3/8 with a weight hole on the PAP, and after seeing other people throw this ball and knowing how mych its gonna hook, I went ahead and polished it as much as possible with Ebonite's Extender Polish. I stood on the center dot, and was able to play anywhere between the 10 and 15 board and make it back to the pocket flush. You haven't seen a ball hit until you have seen this ball. I shot a 519 at league, nothing special but its my average, I should have shot a 560 but I lost my shot in the last game. Storm must have been on some good crack when they said that this ball was for medium oil. Just a quick lil' update THIS BALL IS F'IN AWESOME

I had my ball, 4 inch pin from CG drilled stacked leverage-strong, which in turn is not necessarily good for dry lanes with this ball. I like this ball, I like it a lot! It's definitely a must have for medium-heavy oil on wooded lanes. The only time I would suggest sanding the ball to box finish is when for use on Synthetic Lanes. And polished for wood (with the grooves). With the grooves sanded off and glossed to a shine, this ball kicks ass in the dry, but tends to overreact. Performance and versatility for the price, unmatchable!<scri

I have mine drilled pin at 4 and 1/2 cg at midline 105 degree pattern. I used liquid sandpaper to remove the sanding rings and put re-new it polish on this cover and it still hooks. Disregard what Storm says, if you have revs-you need oil. The move this ball makes to the pocket is strong and when you get it there, look out...carry was unbelievable. The usual nine pin that stands didn't even stay, messangers were tripping it out with regularity. Over-all it is an outstanding value for the money. 8 out of 10 pins.
