The Silver Streak Pearl™ is Roto Grip's latest entrant into the mid-priced market. It uses the performance proven Modified Rotary™ Core with a new pearlized coverstock. This Low / Medium RG core with medium differential gives you more length with a sharper breakpoint allowing greater entry angle into the pins for increased carry. Sure Grip Pearl™ reactive surrounds this core creating a stiffer coverstock for those medium to dry lane conditions.

Once again, my thanks to Jeff Lizzi at Star Lanes for providing me with this ball that now appears to be on the endangered species list. It's a shame, really. Looking at the Roto-Grip website (namely the High Scores section), the Silver Streak Pearl will pass into history as one of the company's best-ever rocks, thanks mainly to its loyal users and consumers! I like the dynamics of this ball. With it, I chose another one of my favorite drillings: 5" X 3 1/2", pin over ring finger, CG kicked out to the right of grip center, with a strong mass bias (and I do mean strong!). With the three ounces of top weight, I put an X-hole on the PAP. For a medium RG differential (0.040) with a high-RG layout, the Silver Streak Pearl can snap like an X-Factor and cover just as many boards. The 1500-grit-polished Sure Grip Pearl reactive is stronger than what I expected. It makes me think (and shudder) what the Apocalypse or the RS-1 would do! Nevertheless, the Roto-Grip Silver Streak Pe

My ball is 16lb with a 3 1/2 in pin and low top wt. only 2.06 oz. I have the ball drilled strait up with the pin above the fingers and the cg right in the middle of the palm. I rev the ball and throw usually up 15 out to around 7 at around 18-19mph. With this ball I have found that I can play any type of shot. On our normal late league shot it is great for when the lanes begin to dry up and start flying. It gets through the heads clean and still have enough energy to get to the pins with a lot of power. This ball explodes the pocket. I do not get tapped very often when I am throwing this ball. Also when the shot calls for it this is an amazing down and in ball. The Silver Streak line is an awsome set of balls for a really great price. Much love to Roto Grip!!!!! Keep the good stuff comming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For starters, the pin is just above and to the right of my ring finger, CG is kicked out a little, and I have a balance hole on my PAP. Now, this ball is incredible, not as much length as I expected, but still very clean through the heads. Not an explosive turn on the backends, but still very noticable and very powerful. Very forgiving ball which hits VERY well at the pins. Responds well to a variety of hand positions and because of this, I can play anywhere from the twig to about 6th arrow and not sacrifice reaction or hitting power. This is truly one of the best balls I've ever thrown and if I could purchase a case of them, I would.<

This is my first Roto Grip ball in while and after hearing great things about this gem I picked it, and damn I love this company. 15lbs, 3" Pin, Drilled 41/2 x 3, Pin above the ring finger Cg swung out about 2". This ball is a beast, probably the biggest backend I seen in a while. Anyway I have thrown this on a few conditions so far one being your basic house shot 39' pretty good backends, the other being a 45' reverse block sport pattern. On the House Shot it was a dream, it got very good length and monster backend it recovered very well off the dry, and had great carry. When the lanes broke down though, had to put it up it just got too much for me. The Sport Shot was medium/heavy, And I was supprised at how well it preformed once broke down a little. The carry might have suffered a little but nothing big. This is one hellva ball and I think if you haven't tried one of the Silver Streaks you are really missing out.

i decided to try out a Roto Grip ball since i heard so many good things about their bowling balls. So i went to STRIKE' EM PRO SHOP to see whats up. I picked up this ball and it was great. first three games right off the bat was 267, 213, 217. I stood on the 37 board, hitting the 3rd arrow and swinging it to about the 5 and it came back with a vengeance....killin the pins! Everybody should get this ball because it HITS Hard for a CHEAP price. Please visit www.hitvbowling.com to see tournament information and results. www.hitvbowling.com

New at this review stuff but been around the game a long time with several pieces of equipment. This one is a keeper, For someone looking for value that delivers, I can only say if you can throw fairly consistent speed, you will find a shot that works, down and in, inside/out or play the twig, depending on your preferred style, on medium conditions it will hit hard and mix well. Keeps pins low and really throws them around. Had no problem with over/under for a ball that carries this well. I will be getting the particle with this same rotary core for heavier oil and carrydown conditions. Should make a simple but great one/two punch. I have some fellow bowlers with different styles than myself which by the way is stroker/tweener and they also do well with it. Highly recommended<scrip

The Silver Streak Pearl is just an amazing ball in its self. I was really looking for something for my typical league ball, THIS WAS THE ANSWER! I drilled it up 4 x 4 wanting more of a Skid snap reaction from it, just what I needed! It gives me just enough length but this ball flat out MOVES on the backend! If the lanes are on the drier side; I can pretty much play wherever I want to. On my League shot: I stand at 20, throw to 10, Breakpoint around 8 board. I know this ball is coming back and coming back hard! The carry on this ball is truly amazing for me; light hits send powerful mixers, high hits just demolish the pins. Occasional 10 pin if I get a little speedy (What ball won't?) also if I get lazy and don't 'hit' the ball; I see a lot more solid 8 and 9 pins with this ball. The Silver Streak Pearl gives me area's of the lane, I can't normally play with my Med-Low rev rate. This ball can fit in just about anybody's arsenal. Roto Grip is redefining the art of striking!

Huge hook - a coast to coast ball. Carries from any angle. Handles oil well and explodes on the backend. As the lanes dry, just keep moving left and get it out to the right because when this one makes its' move - it's coming withoug stopping. Over/under conditions can cause this ball to over react at the wrong time - leading to splits. Simply trust it and keep it out, way out, right of the head pin - it will come back. Light, medium or high pocket hits all carry. Light hits don't just "swish", they explode. Not over sensitive to hand or speed changes - a forgiving ball.

The Roto-Grip Silver Streak Pearl has more back-end snap than any other ball I have ever seen. This leads to tremendous hitting power and pin action when entering the pocket. This hook can also cause problems too. The ball can not be used on any light oil or dry shots, and will be highly ineffective for bowlers with slower ball speeds. These players will find it incredibly difficult to control this balls reaction. Puchase the Silver Streak Pearl only if you need a ball to go long and snap. I would not reccomend this ball for normal league bowlers on typical house shots.

The ball is good for regular medium shots and clears the heads well. The ball is well worth the money and I think is bested suited for those tight down and in shots. However if you have a tendency to throw the ball slow or bowl on wood or dry surfaces then this ball is not for you. I would recommend using black magic polish to keep the surface fresh, the ball does not keep the polish long so I polish after every league or tournament session. My overall feelings of the ball is, buyer beware, you better have a purpose an oiled lane and a high powered throwing arm to maxamize perfomance of this ball.

I'm not the biggest bowling ball critic because I'm just now getting serious about bowling. As far as I'm concerned this is 1 of the better balls that I have obtained recently. I am used to leaving many 10 pins which I leave not as many with the silver streak pearl. This ball gives you a lot of room for error and will probably come back to the pocket. I would reccomend this ball for anyone that is looking a good performance ball for the price. Go buy this ball now, you will not be dissapointed with its performance unless you are a stroker with a low ball speed Shout outs to bowlers in Albany

Great ball from roto again.. I always have loved storm equipment, mainly their shells. But in the last 3 years, they have made their balls roll too early for alot of PLAYERS ( not 180 ave. bowlers. that is who they market towards) Roto has filled the blanks for sure! this ball will give you a much better reaction then any ball from Ebonite, Columbia, or Brunswick in the same price range and carry a hell of a lot better!! try one today And as a great bowler once said WOOOOOOOOoooooo!!!!!!!! Thanks Jason Williams for your support. Good luck with your future! Corey
