tracked out like an ebonite but even with a track in it, it still moved nice and smooth to the pocket and had this funny tendancy to leave a farmiliar ten pin. if you get alot of speed on the ball then this is not the ball for you. like the black color and silver writing, but drilled it incorrectly the first time also. by putting the pin under the hand and the CG out 45 degrees from that and adding a weight hole made it a perfect arc with continious back end. I stil lcarry this ball with me to this day if that means anything to anyone

Very smooth controlable ball. No jerk on the transition, just a great midlane read. If you can only afford one ball this year, consider this one. With a little skill and speed control, you can throw this on almost any shot.So far I have bowled on one house with synthetic heads, and wood backends, and three houses with two different kinds of synthetic lanes. while the line is different in all these houses, the smooth arcing shot remains constant. This ball hits very well, and responds well to changes in hand position, and changes in rev rate. A great choice for a stronger medium ball.

I saw this ball on eBay and thought, let's give it a try. I had never owned a Roto-Grip ball before, but I do have several Storm balls. The ball is not much to look at, but let me tell you - it hits the pins hard. In fact the first time I threw the ball, I left several "fast eight" counts. The 2 pin flew over the 4 pin like it was shot out of cannon. This was most likely due to the fact that the lanes were fried and had very little oil anywhere except for the extreme middle of the lanes. I had this ball drilled with the pin above the fingers and the CG kicked out slightly to the right. Between the auction price, shipping and drilling, I have less than $90.00 invested in this ball - what a deal! The first night using the ball (coincindentaly the first night of the fall season) I shot the following scores: 300, 249, 279 - 828 series. I know this ball has been discontinued, but if you see one used anywhere, pick it up - you won't be disappointed.

Bought this ball on Ebay for $40 after looking at the review for this ball. I figured for $40 + $15 +$30 (purchase, shipping and drilling) what could I lose? I had this drilled similar to my Fuze Eliminator (label leverage) due to the reaction that I have on a wide range of conditions. I used the ball on a fresh house shot condition with medium oil and WOW. Ball cut through the oil with ease and did not over react. I actually pushed the ball 5 boards to the right of my target and the ball screamed back to the pocket almost making a 180 after about 35 - 40 feet coming in light to the pocket and leaving the 5 pin sticking out of the side of the pit!! Even the house pro who drilled the ball was stunned at the reaction. We had decided to drill the ball with a strong mid lane and angular back end, but we stil didn't expect that strong a move. This thing revails my FUZE ELIMINATOR for hitting power, but is not quite as versitile with changing lane conditions As with my other particle ball

This ball was given to me by a friend who is taking up another recreational sport. He threw a total of 4 games on before it decided to sit at his house. It was drilled to go long and snap, but I find it to go long with a continual arc, not too violent but you can just watch it just keep on coming. When this ball hits it crushes anything in its way, so if anything is left standing it is definatly user error. This ball is as close to perfect as my old Eraser, solid or light, it doesn't matter it knocks the wood down. But you must have oil, If you are a classic down and in player, don't be afraid, with this ball you can move inside with confidence and see what you have been missing all this time. This is my first time throwig a ball from Roto Grip, but I have definatly become a believer in the rotary core.

I have been throwing exclusively brunswick stuff, but as of late there stuff has only worked when the shot was just right. I have a detonator that i used when the shot was tight, and that ball has just died on me almost no reaction at all. SO i was in the market for a new oil ball. I decided to try another companies heavy oil ball. Did some research and decided on the roto grip silver streak particle. I just could not beet the price, around a hundred bucks, for a ball I was not totally sure about. Well i've had it for about week, and what a ball. Nothing has stood in its way. Has no problem clearing the heads and has plenty left for the backend. Hits like a truck and keeps the wood low. I've used it in three totally different houses and worked great in all of them. Have played about four different lines with it and the ball always gets to the hole. I'm very happy with this ball and would recommend it to anyone.

I believe this is the first review on this site for the latest Silver Streak from RotoGrip. The whole series of Silver Streak balls are fantastic for me, and the particle version does not disappoint. I received the particle ball about three weeks ago and punched it up right away with a basic label pattern (4x5). I was looking for a ball with the same basic characteristics as my favorite solid Streak but with more movement for use on heavier oil, carry down situations, or when I just plain want to move left and wheel it. Much like the other Streaks, the particle version revs quickly and is clean through the fronts and mid-lane. At the turn it moves strong, but with a predictable arcing characteristics. Hit is hard and crisp resulting in good carry. Many of the particle balls I’ve tried previously burn up early, hook-out and hit weakly. The Silver Streak Particle does not. Result is I finally have a particle ball that gets down the lane and maintains rotation and energy. It usu
