Just want to take the time to talk to you about the roto grip wild streak.Roto grip released this ball in the hp3 line up,very strong rolly type ball that I can see when throwing it.I was throwing it with the box finished on it,it seemed to shine up pretty quick after throwing it for a few games but I felt it wasn't early enough so I hit it with 1000 ab,and let me tell you something what a different.Ball started to read the mid lane a lot more with out pussy to far down lane and had some really good down lane motion as well even hitting the shell with 1000 ab.I for sure can see this ball for a lot of bowlers on the fresh kind of reminds me a little of the silver streak balls for some reason but little more bite down lane with the stronger covered applied,like the deep tone colours as well,good choice in a lot of bowlers bad and 1st ball out of bag.

Wild Streak Solid Sure Trax S19 Cover with the Mutated Rotary Core. The Wild Streak has one of the most versatile cover stocks that I have bowled with. It can easily be adjusted for multiple oil patterns. I find that the Wild Streak is a little straighter than the Original Idol and a little stronger in the back part of the lane. This ball is Tournament ready straight out of the box! I love the down lane motion which goes a little longer for me due to the coverstock which is amazing! I can play this ball on any line! I have thrown it straight up 10 or moved hard left and went over 20 and it seems to find the pocket 9 out of 10 times even with only 6-7 out of 10 being a good throw from me! I think its time for everyone to get Wild and add this to your arsenal ASAP!

Roto Grip Wild Streak Layout: 55 x 4 1/2 x 40 Ball specs: 3000 grit - SureTrax-S19 solid / Mulated Rotary Core Using on SPL with a more blended pattern, this ball was a HUGE strike machine. Was able to play around the other 3 lefties, by moving to 35 and looking at 10-12 in the breakpoint area. Ball was medium in length strength but still very good going through the pins. Similar results were found on the older HPL with less blended pattern, with using the same starting point, but changing the breakpoint area to be around boards 5-7 and moved my eyes further down lane so that the ball roll even later. Will be my solid benchmark ball for a long time I feel.

It's a Keeper!! I have to admit that I wasn't too crazy about this ball when I first got it. However, I stuck with it and the more I've thrown it the more I like it. I didn't adjust the surface any but I think for me at least it is a ball that needs to get some oil into the cover for it to be great. For me the Wild Streak is most comparable to the Idol. For me the Wild Streak has a bit more down lane motion when the Idol starts to loose energy or I have to play bigger angles. The Wild Streak has definitely become a staple in my tournament bag.

Roto Grip Wild Streak 50 x 5 x 25 This ball is incredibly unique. I am a speed dominant player with a lot of axis rotation and tilt. Higher RG balls typically don't match up the best to my game. This ball was a total surprise to me. This ball is a 100% necessity in all tournament players bags. Quite often I experience high friction lane surfaces where the "bigger" balls burn up too easily even on fresh. This ball mimics the bigger ball because of its strong cover and really blends out the wet/dry laterally and front the back. It is a lot of bang for your buck, you will be surprised how much overall motion this ball produces. So far, I have had success with this ball on medium and shorter length patterns and have gotten use out of it on a big variety of surfaces and conditions. This is a ball I will use on fresh quite heavy and medium volume patterns on older surfaces, short patterns, and wet dry lane conditions. Speed dominant players should like this one! Rev dominant I would consider bringing the surface of the ball up and/or drilling this ball pin down!

The Wild Streak is a Must-Have for the serious tournament bowler. This ball will do whatever you make it do. I have never thrown a ball that is so receptive to even the slightest changes in hand positions. If you want to go up the back of the ball and keep your angles closed, it will let you. If you need to open up the lanes a little more, get the ball to turn the corner and kick the corners out, the ball will let you. Because of its unique higher RG core, Medium-High differential and Medium-strong coverstock, there isn't anything like it. The coverstock is between regular reactive and Nano-based material, so it isn't early or skid-flippy. Its right in-between. Plus it has a very thick coverstock which adds to the hitting power and pin carry. Go ahead and drill it with a strong layout because you can fine tune it with surface changes. On wide open house shots you can use any ball. But, when the lanes are brutal, tricky, tracked up or just weird, this ball will save you. Layout: 65 x 4 5/8 x 35. The Wild Streak has a unique reaction that is best used on medium-heavy oil conditions. The higher RG core helps it retain energy, though the cover keeps the reaction smooth and rounded. In that way, it is clean through the fronts, but has a ton of mid-lane traction. It is a great step down from the UFO, but is easily more ball than an Idol Pro. The Wild Streak did not quit when I wanted to move left, as long as there was still a decent bit of head oil left. -Mike LeViner.

The Wild Streak from Roto-Grip is a beast all of its own, it is a brand-new cover and core combination. The Mutated Rotary core has a RG of 2.60 and a Diff of .048, it is wrapped in the SureTrax-S19 cover stock. The high RG of this ball forces me to use stronger layouts to ensure the ball goes into a roll fast enough for a typical house shot. The layout I chose was 4x4x2. The Wild Streak allows for me to keep my angles in front of me and like the old saying goes, straighter is greater. Keeping my angles in front of me allow me to play closer to the friction while minimizing my mistakes to the left into the friction to soon. (Left-Handed) The cover stock is still strong enough that if I miss into the oil on a THS it can still make it back into the pocket. This is another ball that I will utilize on medium/short conditions to keep my angles closed and just consistently get to the pocket. A higher RG Lower Diff core that adds some much needed length. The HP3 releases have always outperformed their price-point and the Wild Streak continues that tradition while adding a cleaner option. I first threw the Wild Streak on a fresh house shot for league. I was amazed at how easily I got the Wild Streak to clear the fronts and how it hit the pins. I was worried about the solid cover but it ended up being a perfect combination. The core let me play closer to the friction and the cover eliminated any over/under on fresh oil. The Idol line was a power-house but I personally felt a bit limited by the fast revving core. With my lower ball speed it took a-lot of effort to use them when there wasn't a lot of volume. The problem with looking for cleaner balls is they often are squirrely on fresh oil so you have to wait for them to come to you a little. This usually necessitated multiple ball changes over the course of a single league night. The Wild-Streak gives me a perfect option to start strong and not have to completely change the shape I'm scoring with by changing to a weaker ball. I usually have a great look for at least the first two games and then have an easier transition into a weaker ball with a cleaner cover when I need to cover a lot of boards and create more drastic angles to carry. The Wild-Streak also strikes me as an excellent piece for playing straighter on higher volume sport patterns. It's ability to retain energy helps it pack punch in a small window so I'm excited to try using it as a solid piece I can play straight with and open up friction without doing it only in the front part of the lane.

The Wild Streak is a unique piece. The first time I got to throw it, I was pleasantly surprised by the motion it made. It was super easy threw the fronts but it acted like it wanted to rev up a lot quicker. With the RG being 2.60 it explains why it gets through the fronts as easy as it does but the cover wants to dig in a lot faster. If you haven't been paying attention to the PBA this season, you should. This is the motion that a lot of the pros have been looking for. Its a motion that I was missing in my bag. I definitely see myself using this more in the transition or later in a block on a flatter condition. This was shape and motion was long overdue and I couldn't be happier that I finally have it.

What a cool, unique ball! I was a huge fan of the Silver Streak in college and now the second coming is here...and its Legit! The Wild Streak has a classic 2 piece construction of Weight Block and Cover. This ball allows you to stay closer to the friction without any over reaction. This is great with some of todays over/under house shots or extreme break down. I bowl on 80 year old wood and while you can start with the ball on the fresh, it forces me to stay too far right and up against the friction. I personally like to get in and open the lane up. I typically use this ball when they are hooking quite a bit and need something to control the dry down lane. This ball is the boss of that! My layout is 60x5x35, putting the pin above my ring finger. If you have seen a few of the PBA shows this season, you've see the Roto Grip Wild Streak being thrown, mainly by Jason Belmonte. He recently won the US Open with the Wild Streak and it looked great. The Wild Streak is the newest addition to the HP3 line and is a perfect addition to the line. I've noticed a smooth, predictable motion that's been successful on multiple types of patterns. I've drilled one Wild Streak so far and really like it. I drilled it with the intention of using it on shorter to medium patterns. My layout is mapped out as 4 x 4 with box surface. This layout gives me a very smooth, predictable shape with a slower response time. I think the Wild Streak is a step down from the UFO and Nuclear Cell and a step up from the MVP and Hustle Series. If you're looking for a ball to be used on shorter and medium patterns, the Wild Streak is a ball that will keep you in play, provide a slower response time, and be a nice compliment to some other pieces in your bag. The new HP3 release from Roto Grip is the Wild Streak. This ball features the SurTrax-S19 solid cover sanded to 3000 and the Mutated Rotary core. The core numbers are 2.60 RG and .048 Diff (15 lbs). I drilled this ball at 60 X 3.5 X 70 pin under. This drill really smoothed out the reaction down lane. With the higher RG and 3000 cover i wanted something to pick up earlier and the pin under layout does that without loosing the backend motion. Im able to use the wild streak game one on the outside part of the lane the switch to an idol of ufo and move inside. Over all i think this is ball shows a good motion. Its comparble to the Idol in that its a solid symmetric, but the idol is a little bit stronger down lane. For me this is a good goto league ball, but does work on shorter sport patterns for me. I highly recommend this ball.

Roto-Grip Wild Streak Cover: SureTrax-S19 Core: Mutated Rotary Layout: 50 x 5 x 30 I drilled my Wild Streak 50 X 5 X 30. The Wild Streak is in the HP3 line with the Idol balls. Naturally, I will to compare this my similarly drilled magenta Idol. Ball to ball, my opinion is that the Idol will handle more oil. It seems to pick up a bit quicker and is a little sharper at the breakpoint. The Wild Streak is a perfect complement to the Idol though. The higher RG core allows the Wild Streak to have length, but oddly, it isn't angular even with all that length. It is actually quite unique (a common descriptor of this ball). I am not sure I have thrown a ball that looks quite like this ball on the lane. If you have liked your Idol balls, give this one a try. As I began playing up the typical track area the Wild Streak was clean through the front. In the mid lane the ball begins to pick up its heavy roll characteristics as it heads to the pocket. I will probably put a little compound finish on it. Pattern B: The Sport pattern I used was a modified version of the 2015 Nationals Doubles/singles pattern. Let me tell you. I really liked the Wild Streak on this pattern. I could stay more up the back and direct at the 5 board and roll the Wild Streak even to the pocket. I didn't have to worry about an early roll as it stayed clean in the front. NOTE A: on a THS on SPL this is a ball out of box I would stay left a bit and rev up because of its Rg and ability to be clean through the front. NOTE B: As for the sport pattern, I found more room to move around with the Wild Streak. I would prefer to make this a tournament ball and keep the surface out of the box. LOW DOWN: The Wild Streak can really be a ball that every style can use and will be able to control. It's going to come down to your style and your preference for where you want it to be. NOTE A: on a THS on SPL this is a ball out of box I would stay left a bit and rev up because of its Rg and ability to be clean through the front. The Roto Grip Wild Streak is something I've never seen before. Weaker core but with a very strong cover. The Wild Streak features a RG of 2.60 with a Diff. 0.48. The Wild Streak is the type of ball with different surface change, changes the whole dynamic of the reaction of the ball. I feel like the Wild Streak can give me 3 different ball reactions. OOB (Out Of Box) finish gives me a really strong mid lane read but gives me a predictable breakpoint reaction. When I polish the ball, it's smooth on smooth. Gets down the lane really smooth and really controllable breakpoint motion to the pocket. When you put little weaker surface on it (used 2000 grit) I get the best of both worlds. The ball is a little bit cleaner through the first 20 feet of the lane then it is out of box finish with a predictable arcing motion. The Wild Streak is between the Idol Series and the MVP in my bag. The wild streak is a completely unique ball on the market because of its core characteristics. It's 2.60 RG and 0.048 Differential are a one of a kind combination in the market. Not only is this ball very clean for a HP3 ball but it is very predictable. For me, this ball is great on medium oil, shorter oil patterns and lanes where I need control but the lane surface is older or wood. When those conditions are met, it is a very good benchmark ball for me. It is also a nice step down from the original idol when that becomes too early rolling. If you bowl on lanes that typical hook a lot but still need a stronger core, this is a great ball to have!

It is a great ball to go to when the Original Idol is too much or it is reading the lane pattern too early. The Wild Streak is very medium for me and reminds me of my All Road but with more back end. The Wild Streak rolls heavy through the pins with very strong continuation. The ball out of box is 3000 but to recreate that finish in our shop we use 2000. The Wild Streak polishes nicely and looks great with a shine. Putting polish gives the ball more length and flip but seems to keep it in the medium hook potential range for me but with a different shape. The Wild Streak works well on house shots as well as flatter shots and I am very happy with the versatility of this ball. The Wild Streak does not seem to lane shine quickly which is nice. I just clean it good with Reacta Clean and a towel and I'm good to go. We have drilled plenty of these so far for customers and everyone is very happy with the results. Summary: The Wild Streak is a strong medium ball. The Ball has more back end than I expected. The Wild streak is a great option when the purple Idol is too strong. Pattern Volume: Medium Pattern Type: THS and modified THS Right Handed The Wild Streak has the symmetrical Sure Trax-S19 cover stock, surrounding the new Mutated Rotary, symmetrical weight block, which is a solid reactive core. The box finish is 3000 grit, but as always, can be polished or sanded to suit a variety of lane conditions. It is an eye catching Purple, Grey, and Black color. The new Mutated Rotary weight block does not have outer wrap core material, which makes this the thickest coverstock Roto Grip has produced in many, many years. I have used the Wild Streak on a 40 ft. house pattern, and a modified house pattern in local tournaments. I tried the Wild Streak, initially at the 3000 grit box finish, and haven't done any surface changes, as I've found this to be my new benchmark ball. Once it picked up some lane shine, it was just enough to tame down the reaction, with no surface changes. I find it to be a good starting ball on both patterns that I've used it on. This ball is a bit more aggressive than i expected it to be. I find it to have a similar motion shape to the MVP, with a slightly earlier hook, and a stronger finish down lane. Being a lower rev player with ball speed around 14-14.3 mph, I could migrate in, with the Wild Streak, and still have it knock out the corners. If you're looking for a replacement for the Idol, or a new benchmark ball, this is a great ball to have in your arsenal. For the price point, you're getting a good bang for your buck. Bowler Bio Gender: Female Rev Rate: 315 Ball speed: 16.5 mph P.A.P: 4-1/2 & 1-1/8 When it comes to the Roto Grip Wild Streak I was not sure if this was a ball that I would fall in love with and add to my league bag. I continued to practice with it and found it really works well for me when I need something slow and controllable. The cover on this ball allows me to get right and play straighter angles allowing me to get a nice slow motion that doesn't over react. This will be a great ball when you are on flat patterns that play really tough. I compared it to my idol pro and found that the wild streak started about a foot sooner. The wild streak was overall around 3 boards stronger then the idol pro and a lot more controllable. I have used mine shined up and at different sanded finishes finding the most success with mine at 4000 polished to help me keep moving left without losing any extra energy.
