Performance:
This second generation Yeti incorporates the same dynamic core as the original Yeti, but with a brand new resin base coverstock. The Yeti Untamed is a monster, and it has more overall hook than the original Yeti with most of the action taking place down the lane. To say the Yeti Untamed has a big back end would be an understatement.

I drilled the Untamed pin up (45 x 5-7/8 x 40) to give me the reaction I needed between the original Yeti and the Unleashed. I left the surface OOB. The Untamed, for me, likes the medium to medium-light patterns it cleared the front part of the lane very nicely, didn't pick up to early in the mid-lane, and then would explode on the backend and just drive through the pins. The carry the Untamed gives is similar to the rest of the Radical line, the pins stay low and push each other off the lane. The Untamed is a welcome addition to the already versitile Yeti line.
