A hooking monster designed for medium to heavy oil conditions. Gets down the lane with a ferocious hook on the backend that is sure to scare up some pin action. Long and strong, there's no going wrong with the Kong!

I bought this ball for the med-heavy Oil conditions. Used it on variety tournement shots in variety bowling centers. I played it over second arrow and it goes long and hits the pins hard. Very good pin mix also on brooklyn strikes. Shot my highest game and series with this ball. But what`s happend ? After 100 games the ball doesn`t hook any more. I tried to refinish the coverstock with all method I know, but the ball is still dead. I`m very pleased with legends/lanemaster balls, but I can`t spend every 3 months a lot of money for a new bowling ball. Now I changed the company from lanemaster to lane#1. I`m anxious to the experience I will made. I don`t know if other balls from lanemaster died also quick.

it's a good ball for medium to light oil. i have the pin below the ring finger. with a weight hole 2 1/2 in. away fron the ring finger. and the weight hole going about a half in. for the price i paid for it. i don't think i got what i paid.. but oh well i guess it all wks out when you bowl on medium conditons? i thought it was a good ball when i first bought it. but it proved me wrong. i mean i would buy it again and drill it differently. and have it stacked.

If you purchased the Kong from among a substandard batch made by Lanemasters, contact the company about replacing the ball. I was told the hardness of the substandard balls are 80 instead of the intended 74. This causes the ball to roll and roll without gripping the lane. I've found good use for this ball on dry lanes and I have no desire to return it. However, I remain disappointed that it is not the ball I thought I was purchasing and I purchased it directly from the company. Per the Company's discription of the Kong's, I still want one, a real one, but I am leary of purchasing another.

This ball is amazing for a fast bowler with a lot of revs, arcs down the lane and whips in at the last second, shape is more rectangular at the break point, annihilates the pins! I wouldnt reccommend this ball for a beginner/novice because of the variations of shots you can play with very little change to release/approach speed. Anyone who says this ball is weak has bought a knock off! People who have seen me bowl with this ball all comment on how strong it is, usually clearing the pin deck with ease. A tournament ball if ever there was one! P.S I had a weight hole drilled, but after seeing it react I wish I hadnt, when the lanes get dry I'm forced to swap to my HotRod Hybrid since keeping it from going brookin is a minor miracle.

Hyped as a heavy oil ball and nothing could be further from the truth. Legitamate write ups, not those by company shills, and reviews from many others confirms that the Kong is a dry lane ball - and believe me, the lanes better be good and dry. Carry down will drive you nuts with this ball - it simply can't handle the least bit of oil. If dry is what you bowl on, or you simply need a ball for the dry - this one will go long in the dry and come back to nail the pocket in typical Lane Master/Legends fashion. I love Lane Master stuff; however, this ball is anything but as advertised. I've bought seven Lane Master/Legends balls, I regret having bought this one.

The moment I threw this ball I knew I would like it. The ball just throws pins in all directions. Three of us bought this ball in my summer league and we all have thrown seven hundred series for three weeks since the purchases. If I had to decide between my wife or this ball, I would let her go......I have been bowling for some time and I can say very few balls come along like this one. The KONG makes my weak game look strong. The amazing thing about this ball is the pin carry. Just get it near the hole and go sit down because the pins take care of themselves. I feel I can beat anybody when I use this ball!

my pap 5 1/8 over and 1/2 up medium rev high track , lane condition medium oil inside 38feet out side light oil 20feet end of run the buff is to 42 feet , the oil we use is kegel oil , the ball lay out , 4 1/2 by 3 with a low hole 2inches below the pap, cover was 800 sheen box , that means sanded to 800 grit with sand paper and then with gray pad that is how they sheen their balls ,ball reaction , ball is clean through the heads as long as u have oil with box surface , theball was really reving in the mid lane ,the reaction from midlane to the pocket , theball fliped into a very heavy roll with no over or under ballreaction and very consistant hooking motion with great carry , the ball dose not give u an earatic break point ,it has great continuation thru the pocket and keeps the pins very low thus giving u great carry , since throwing lanemasters stuff ive been bowling great .
