Throughout the season it has become my spare ball due to the fact it doesnt move at all.. I can shoot a really good back up hook with it but from the propper throwing style it wil move maybe 2 boards in the desert.. Theres very few things that I can say about this ball other then it has increased my accuracy and it has been nicknamed "el Horneto" i know its not the propper term in esponol but we dont care.. Great ball if your looking for minimal movement and a ball that hits like a truck. Every member of my team has take their shots with this ball and only the Crankers have had this thing move more then 5 boards with a normal shot

15 lbs Hornet with a 5 1/2"pin above the fingers ; CG on gripline. The ball works great on drier lanes or short oil patterns. If you like to bowl down the boards on an outside line, you will love this ball ! But you will leave a lot of 10th pins, when there is too much oil. Hard to find a lane, where the hornet works best. The hornet needs dry boards, and you always have to wipe off the oil ! I bought this ball to bowl late at night and I have to say , this is the wrong Ball for conditions you will find late at night. The Hornet isn t a strong hooking ball and when you still have a little bit carry down, the hornet won t hook enough. This ball hates carry down ! This ball has great hitting power, but it is very special and very hard. But I wouldn´t recommend this ball, unless somebody has a really slow ball speed. I think the Buzz is a better ball for dry lanes !

This is a GREAT ball for dry lanes. When the heads are fried, go to this ball. Carry is good and tuneable. Drilled mine with pin just below middle finger, 60 degree layout. A little too angular for me at first, so I stuck a wt. hole in it. Now it has some negative side. Ball "faces up" to the pocket for me almost perfectly. Too many ring-10's with it without the wt hole. The ball hit too hard. Lanes get dry, but not usually dry enuf for me to use very often. A conditon ball, but a good one.

After throwing this ball for a few weeks thought it was time to review. Drilled mine with a 5 ½ X 5 drill, pin above and to the right of my ring finger. If glideability is a word that is what this ball does. Effortless through the front part of the lane with a nice sustained move on the back. Great companion to the Buzz. Does need some dry boards to get it to react. I can see this ball working great on a second shift league or when the lanes really start to go away. If your tired of always moving left, left, left through the night as the lanes breakdown, try this ball. Another great product from a great company.

WHEN THE LANES BREAK DOWN, THIS IS THE BALL TO PULL OUT. SHOOTING IN A REGIONAL, I NORMALLY HAVE A GREAT DEAL OF PROBLEMS ONCE THE LANES BREAK DOWN AND THE OIL CARRIES DOWN. NOW I HAVE A BALL THAT FITS THAT CONDITION. FRED BORDEN HAS DONE IT AGAIN. HE SAID THIS WAS A BALL DESIGNED FOR DRY LANES AND WOULD NOT BURN UP BEFORE IT GOT TO THE POCKET. AND HE HAS DONE IT! THIS COMPANY DOES WHAT IT SAYS AND I HAVE YET TO FIND THEM WRONG ABOUT ANYTHING THEY HAVE SAID AND THAT IS WHY I KEEP BUYING THERE BALLS. IF YOU NEED A DRY LANE BALL, THIS IS IT.

Thanks to lane masters, we got the Hornet test balls in early to get an idea of their performance. I drilled the test ball 4 3/4" x 3", with a balance hole in the positive/thumb quadrant. The Hornet is supposed to be Lane Masters' answer to dry/short oil patterns, and uses the same core as the Buzz with a harder version of the Evolution reactive coverstock. After testing, I realized you can not try to bring a lawsuit against Lane Masters for false advertising...the Hornet performs exactly as advertised. The mellow coverstock provides easy length and the popular core provides for consistent moves off the breakpoint. If you are joining a PBA Experience league or just are struggling with over-reaction, give the Hornet some strong consideration for the short patterns. The smooth roll off the breakpoint is key in keeping the ball in play on the hooking stuff. One thing i noticed is that due to the harder coverstock, oil does not get absorbed into the ball very quickly, so
