Lane #1 launches it’s second round of bombing with our Pearlized Carbide BOMB. This beautiful Purple Pearl Carbide BOMB glides straighter through its launch, then turns hard, locking on to its target, destroying the enemy with a MASSIVE EXPLOSION, just in case they got away the 1st time.

I got this ball back in October of 2002. This was the first Lane #1 ball that I have used. My son, who has many Lane #1 balls and swares by them, convinced me to try one. I'm not disappointed that I did. I bowl in two leagues. One league is at a house where the oil is heavy and long on synthetic lanes the other house has a medium oil pattern on wood lanes. I used this ball at both houses until the end of January of 2003 when I bought the Super Carbide Bomb for the house with the long and heavy oil pattern (see my review on that ball for more details). This ball worked extremely well at the house with the medium oil pattern. I averaged 212 in that league (eighth highest average out of 80 bowlers) with very consistant scoring. My high series in that league was only a 718. Out of the 28 weeks that I bowled, I had 3 series over 700 and 4 under 600. The other 21 series were in the 600-700 range. A very consistant, predictable ball. This ball would really take off on the

By far the best ball I have ever rolled. I'm glad it costs so much otherwise everyone would have one. If your release is consistant the ball will do whatever you ask of it. I can play right up the boards if the lanes are flooded, or between 3rd and 4th if they are dry. I only had to put it away 1 time since I bought it because of to much oil. It looks great too. I can't say enough good things about this ball. I may have thought it was expensive at first, until I through it. Now I think I would have paid alot more.

This ball was bloody hard to find in the UK but I found a distributor and had a label drilled Pearl Bomb in my hands 2 days later! I cranked this ball out to the gutter and just got enough hook and an absolutly awesome back-end. I noticed ALOT of dirt on the ball after my first game so take some polish and a cloth with you. I am now converted to Lane #1 and hope there future balls can shine like this one. Tell the bowl owner to start insuring his pins because this baby hurts! UK Distributor: www.loracleisure.co.uk

WOW, OVERALL I THINK THIS IS THE BEST LANE # 1 BALL SINCE.... WELL THIS MAY VERY WELL BE THE BEST ONE. MINE IS DRILLED EXACTLY THE SAME AS MY GREEN BOMB AND IT ALLOWS ME TO MOVE TO THE PEARL BOMB WHEN IT STARTS GETTING TO DRY FOR THE GREEN GUY. FOR ME IT HAS THE EXACT SAME REACTION AS THE GREEN BOMB JUST A BIT FARTHER DOWN THE LANE. JUST DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO THROW THIS BALL ON A SHORT OR DRY PATTERN. I BOWLED ON A SHOT THAT WENT TO 33 FEET AND THIS BALL HOOKED IN MY BACKSWING. BUT HEY THATS OK, THIS BALL WILL HAVE A TIME AND A PLACE. AND THE HIT FROM THIS BALL? THE SAME I-HIT-SO-HARD-I-RIP-THE-7, HIT AS THE GREEN BOMB.
