This is my wife's favorite ball because of its easy length and the strong but controllable turn. She does leave her share of 10 pins on fresh shots and the occasional 5 pin after some carrydown but she is very good at single spares. High flush crushes everything but light doesn't get the job done that often. It is only 13 pounds so don't read too much into the lack of carry as a heavier ball would probably kick out the 10 more often. She is most comfortable playing over 2nd arrow but does push it out to 8 when the lanes will allow it.<scri

i got this ball because i wanted a stronger ball, it was only my second ball, i didn't do to well with it the first week or so, but then i got used to it and later i shot a 286 with it which is my highest every, but after awhile i got made at the dang thing, stoped doin as well, so i made it my spare ball for about 2 to 3 months but got it cleaned and after that its as good as new, well its still my spare ball but at least i know i can use it when carry down happens, which i love about this ball, i think its amazing on carry down which i happen to have a hard time at :P, but its a ok ball but very yet very good at the same time

Had this ball drill to go long and break hard. This ball has amazing hitting power. Almost hits as hard as my Black Widow Pearl. The carry is great. Best condition to play this on is about medium conditions. I wouldn't recommend this ball for light conditions. You could probably play with this ball on heavy oil as well. Definately a great ball to go to if your Black Widow or No Mercy Beat'n is breaking just a little too much. I don't think Hammer will ever cease to amaze me. Can't wait to see what the next ball from the Raw Hammer line will be.

i cant say much bad about this ball..i mainly got it due to the fact that my No Mercy wasnt cutting it at the 2nd house i frequent. on the typical walled house shot on synthetic it was absorbing the oil and coming like a monster. On the tuffer oil pattern and wood lanes i noticed i had to crank it much more than i already due and slow it down from my ave 19 mph to about 17.. The owner of the pro shop introduced me to the Raw Toxic. he didnt drill it conventional but what he called his 'nascar' pattern.. goes long and then turns left (with a balance hole).. I seem to like this on both wood and synthetic but definitely a wood lane ball (in my opinion).. Great Ball

The Toxic Hammer is just that. It is poison to the competition. It reads the midland well and makes a very strong but controllable move on the backend. It does not love heavy carry down, but handles heavy oil well so long as there is some dry on the backend. I use this ball on both house shots and PBA experience shots. I have yet to find the shot it does not like.(except really dry lanes) I have had it 2 weeks, and put over 30 games on it already. I don't think I have thrown another ball since I got it. Have had (2) 289's not the ball's fault neither was 300. I would reccomend this ball to anyone wanting max performance for mid price

This was an overall bad experiance for me. The ball didn't have the backend that it promised, and it tended to roll out early if I moved too far left. I was hoping for a ball that practiced what it preached. I did find a ball like that though, it's a Storm Shift. Everything the Toxic said it had, Shift delivered. I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done, I'm done

THE ONLY THING I DONT LIKE IS STUPID PEOPLE MAKING BAD REVIEWS ON A FANTASTIC BALL IT HITS LIKE A TON OF BRICKS GREAT PIN ACTION FOR THOSE 10'S AND 9'S VERY VERSTILE ITS LIKE AMEDIUM LIGHT OIL BLACK WIDOW SO ITS A EASY TRANSITION FROM THE WIDOW TO THE TOXIC WHICH ALLOWS ME TO KEEP THE SAME LINE DONT LISTEN TO S*** FOR BRAINS WHICH IS SHOULD BE BUY THIS BALL ITS ONE OF THE MOST AGGRESSIVE YET TAME BALLS ON THE MARKET WHICH IS KINDA OF UNCOMMON NOW SITH EQUIPTMENT NOW WHICH IS STRONGER AND ALOT MORE SNAPPY.

This is a fantastic ball! save some money and do yourself a favor GET THIS BALL. This ball rolls great and can be drilled to do many different things. I can play second arrow or center arrow and swing it with this ball and still carry. Just adjust your speed and ball axis and you have a ball that does it all. I love a ball that hooks and rolls into the pocket and thats exacly what I got with this ball. Great carry and even better pin reaction. The only reason this ball gets a 9 out of 10 from me is because I have yet to find the perfect ball and drilling for me. Hammer and ebonite are leading the bowling world right now.

I'm now 65 years old, a "SENIOR BOWLER". I have bowled in different Houses and Leagues since 1973, and was 31 when I started League bowling. My HIGH GAME so far is a 268 (including the last 10 STRIKES), with my Faball "Nail", and my High Series the same night was a 640 in 1990! However, I have only ever had 4 600's in my life! At this stage, I'm happy to just exceed 500 in 3 games. Before 1973, I had only been in a Bowling Alley 4 times. I've always said I'm definitely a better "recruiter" of good bowlers than a good bowler myself --- my higest average was 164 Twice ("way back when" I had bowled about 5 years (until they started gutter-to-gutter oiling!), and then 2 years ago. Usually, I'm happy if my average is at least 160 for a 90+ -game season. Last year I was using my Faball "Nail" and had my average up to 166 with one month to go, when suddenly I LOST 8 pins from my average in the last month! ). I did NOT realize that my Faball "Nail" had broken its weight block!

Sorry it took so long to post this.....i drilled this up back in Decemeber i went pin 3-3/8 from my pap pin up. cg 4-7/8 from my pap unstacked. i used a 1-1/2 pin buffer to the vertical axis line and WOW does this thing flip. With dry backends this ball can handle any ammount of head oil. The ball excels on Medium house shots. It is smooth through the heads and vicious on the backends. i had two 300's in January with this ball. It is definately not a light oil ball unles you have higher speeds. The toxic is just slighly weaker then the Black widow and it has more length. unfortunately it almost acts like a polished black widow and at that mid line price it is definately a steal for the performance you get. Another solid ball from Brian Graham and company. Current aresnal Elite PBA shark ( review coming soon) heavy oil 500 grit Hammer No Mercy heavy oil 1000 grit Hammer Black Widow & Hammer Toxic ( medium oil) Hammer Switch Blade dry lanes ( this ball is eternal) Maxim Plasti

Well I just got this ball no longer than 2 days ago, I thrown it only 3 games. My series was not great with a 576, but I still have to get use to it. Its hard for me cause I use such a big hook I dont know how to control it right now. But when I do hit that pocket it hits hard and I dont leave any pins standing. I love the ball but i have to work on my shot. I would recomend it to any one. i love the color of the ball. It helps me get excited to throw the next shot. I would get this ball for any one that wants a cool looking ball and it gives you a great hook and hits the pocket with a strike that you'll never forget?

I was looking for a ball that went long, but with a smooth transition and strong mid-lane roll. It was a toss-up between the toxic drilled tame, the zr40 and the smash time pearl drilled weaker. I settled on the toxic and wow, what a great ball this is. The pin is set up just to the right of the ring finger and slightly below it (i'm right handed) , CG right near midline theoretical mass bias real close to the thubhole. I'm not real good with all that ball drilling and placement stuff so bear with me. First time i threw it was during a practice session, with no scoring, but i think that i averaged around 245 with the ball in about 20 frames. The toxic absolutely carries the world- i threw the ball okay in the pepsi districts and still managed a 729 out of it. It also worked surprisingly well on a fresh shot and worked even better when the heads started to break down- it was cleaner than most balls i've seen. All this only cost me $160, so its also one heck of a bargain too. I hig

I had drill that ball for a customer in the morning ... and ine the afeter noon ... he try his ball and at his first game ... he shot 12 balls in the pocket and done a 300 game ... Unbelievable ... this ball hit very hard in the pin ... slide the first part of the lane ... and curve to much It's a great bowling ball for all bowlers whit a minimum of rotation ... Hammer have done a good job for this ball ... I hope taht is a new way of great bowling ball ... sorry for my english ... i'm a french person ...

Don't plan on using this ball if you have a slow ball speed. Ball wants to fly down the lane and snap hard. Very inconsistant movement if you miss your mark. Extremely snappy with a hard movement to the pocket. Bought the ball for it to be a less aggressive lighter oil ball with some backend. Not the case! Compared to the No Mercy, over all hook is the same but the Toxic hooks later and harder. Perfect ball if you get the right shot. Terrible ball if you get a inconsistant shot. Keep your speed up and you can score well with this ball.<

Just saying at first, I love this ball, and I still do The ball was drilled with the cg in the middle of my palm and the pin above the figers and a little to the left of my ring finger. Thats right, label. I think it turned out to be a 90 degree layout, which for me gets angular on the backend because of my roll on the ball(I track high) Oily house shots: Ball give me enough on the mid lane to get a great read. The ball just turns and goes. The breakpoint is smooth, but short. This has become on the my best weapons on any house shot. 37' Sport shot: The lanes I usually bowl on tend to favor outside shots, so I though this ball would do very well on the sport shot. It's a medium oiled 37 foot shot. I usually could stand either 8 looking 3/4, or stand 4 and pop it of the 1 boardm both with great sucess. The first look give me more of a smoother rolling reaction, the second is more of a snap. 44' Sport shot: NOT A CHANCE, DOESN'T MAKE THE TURN. Overall this ball is awesom

Sand it to go earlier. Sand and polish to tame flip. It has a very modifiable cover stock. Hots like a truck once you get the cover where you need it. Factory polish little too late for me, hooked into pocket but weight block wasn't in proper position. This is just what i needed to break my slump. Ball is very deceiving in the amount of hook it produces. It appears that its not hooking that much. But in reality it is covering a lot of boards. Played inside and out, Down and in, Fade the heads. It all works with different types of carry. Cool to have so many options.

This ball right out of the box is very agressive. Straight out of the box 255,258,227. I'd like to thank Chris from Buddiesproshop for drilling this ball for me.This ball is a very hard hitting and just the one to have in your bag. This ball by far is the best inverstment that I made. I have the Paradigm and it reacts better and hits a lot harder than it. It comes in the pocket very clean and the backend is just great. This is the ball to have in your bag on any type of shot. This ball by far is the best inverstment that I made.

Why spend all that money for a Domination or Angular One when the Toxic is same type of ball the alot lets!!! I have the ball drilled strong, and its the next ball out of my bag after the No Mercy! It is very versitile when playing different angles! but if there isn't enough oil then you better watch out for the almost immediate left turn. I have the pin just to the right and below my ring finger with CG in palm, and I get extactly what I was looking for HOOK! First would have to be the PIN ACTION!!! HIT HARD!!! Great backend reaction!!! If your looking for a skid/flip ball, this is it!!! I scored my highest game with this ball!!!and thats alot to say when I own both Black Widow and No Mercy!!!!Like I said NASTY!!!!

amazing. The Widow and Toxic are the best balls Ive thrown in awhile. Ive always thrown Hammer and am very pleased (dont recommend the No Mercy--Widow hits harder; at least for me) Toxic reminds me of the Widow. Overall, very pleased and excited! My 1st set with Toxic was 221, 198, 213 (think I couldve done better but was 'fixing' the ball during that set) =) HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I dont think you will be disappointed with Toxic...and its pretty. =) Its a very strong reacting ball and doesnt quit driving once it hits the pins. Doesnt have the 'hockey stick' effect when it turns...more of a banana style...nice smooth turn yet drills the pins! its awesome and a great investment.<sc

First Hammer bowling ball for someone in my family since Ebonite started making them and they hit the mark with this ball. Looking forward to trying one out for myself - nothing hits like a Hammer. The ball was drilled 4X3 with no weight hole, pin placement is center above the fingers. For a 9 year old he can play either straight up or swing from 3rd arrow and back with no problem with this ball. The easy read through the heads will greatly benefit him as the lanes transition. This was a test to see if he could throw a 13 pound ball verses 12 pounds. During the test he went: 194, 205, 215, 189, 168, 185, and 188 the 168 game was bowled with his 12 pound ball. I think he has passed the test and is moving on to 13 pounds and it's Toxic . Update: Within the past four weeks he has bowled (2) 600 series in league with a high game of 289 on 02/17/2007. The Toxic hits hard and is easy to read.

Ball Layout Pin and CG 3 3/8 from PAP Weight Hole 1" beyond VAL on a line from Center of Grip through the Center of Gravity. No Surface Adjustments at all PAP 5 1/8 x 1/8 I had made some changes in my grip and at first I didn't like the results but as I learned how to get out of the ball cleanly, watch out. Ball has a strong predictable roll no real over / under at all I had a 300 with the ball (First in over 6 yrs) and have had my highest set in 12 yrs a 789 (I had 1028 for Four in that set.) Needless to say I like the ball and it is currently the first ball out of the bag

This ball performs as good as it looks. It's sick! I was a 170 avg bowler before updating my equipment. This is the 2 in my 1-2 punch of PAIN and TOXIC. I use this as the night wears on and exclusively in my late league. The ball holds a nice straight line and turns hard into the pocket on the back end. Even if I miss outside, it finds its way back. Awesome Hitting Power and carry. Most pocket shots (light and heavy) either end up in strikes or one pin leaves. This ball and my PAIN have helped my average improve over 20 pins in less than a month's time with some decent amount of practice. And how could you possibly get a better value than any ball in the RAW line? Should I go for the sweep and get a DOOM? The TOXIC green color is aweseome looking. I am an old Hammer Head and I still have my original 3D Offset. Hammer bowling is back and back strong. Nothing hits like a Hammer!

Well, I just got this ball a couple days ago and this ball saves a ton of energy for the backend. When ever I hit the pocket with this ball, I get a strike every time almost. Keeps pins low and very easy to control. I almost rolled a 300 the first time I practiced with it. I'm a lefty that plays just outside the second arrow. This ball should be everyone's arsenal because what the ball does speaks for itself. In other words, if you're looking for a ball that's very forgiving and hits the rack like a bomb, this ball will do havack for you. Beat the competition with one of the best balls ever. You won't regret buying one of these.

I rolled a 602 my first series with this ball (my highest ever) with a 166 average. I love this ball and I hope that it will take me to some junior tournaments. This ball carries very well and hits the pocket hard. Even if I don’t hit my mark, this ball gives me a high pin count and easy spares. My average so far with this ball is a 196. By far the best ball I have ever thrown. I can’t say that I have had any trouble with this ball so far because I have had it for only 2 weeks.
