This is a peralized polished ball, and really responds off friction and starts rolling very early. I really like the tackiness of the cover stock, and the ball is a very durable bowling ball. This ball does not like oil period. If there is not friction on the lane leave this ball in the bag period. However if the lanes are medium-medium dry and crossing boards is essential I recommend this ball. I have mine drilled with the pin about two and a half inches above my fingers and my cg kicked out about an inch for predictability. This ball is unlike any ball I ever thrown and it sure does hit like a hammer.

I was a 200 average bowler a year ago I broke my wrist and had complications I started bowling again I still haven't got my strength back I used to loft the ball alot well I can't do that anymore .All my equipment was drilled agressive I had to play 4th arrow standing left of the left gutter because of my slower speed went to 8 board and when it hit the box usually a flat 10 pin. I been researching balls and read about the cherry vibe I got it for 77.00 shipping included from buddies pro shop. I talked to them and they recommended the second drilling on the sheet. All I can say is I can play straight down and in again I play the area around 7 board and it blows the rack . I first set with it was only 585 bit I have lowered my average to 173 because of my injury I can't wait till next year and I will get on the tournament trail. This is the first hammer I had since the 3d offset that was a great ball too. thanks hammer and thank you buddies pro shop.

hmm its junk it hits like a girl ( no offense ladies ) its pretty but its so inconsistant that that doesnt matter if you throw the same exact ball twice on the same track it still hooks differently one time its strong the other its dead just like the toxic and any other of the hammer products that i have thrown i love consistancy and that all i look for in a ball i am very consistant myself so i stick to consistant balls i gave it away to an inconsistant friend and he shoots well with it he only uses his two fingers but still does halfway decent most of the time

WOW!!!!!!!!!! THIS BALL IS GREAT. THE DAY AFTER I BOUGHT IT I SHOT 680 AND THEN I TURNED AROUND A FEW HOURS LATER IN MY SECOND LEAGUE AND SHOT 796. IT WAS AN AMAZING BALL FOR THAT PARTICULAR SHOT. BUT THE BALL REQUIRES A LOT OF MATAINANCE. REGUARDLESS OF THAT IT'S AN AMZING BOWLING BALL AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT FOR ANY FIRST TIME HAMMER USER. ALTHOUGH IT DID KINDA DIE DOWN AFTER TWO WEEKS IT'S AN OVERALL GOOD BALL AND IT'S A MUST HAVE ONCE THE LANES START TO BREAK DOWN. I USE IT AT A LOT OF GREATER IOWA TOURNAMENTS AND IT CONTRIBUTES WELL TO MY ARSENAL. PROVIDING A HAPPY MEDIUM BETWEEN THE ANGER MY TOXIC AND MY NEWLY AQUIRED BLACK WIDOW BITE(TREMENDOUS BOWLING BALL!!!!) HAMMER YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING AND AS LONG AS YOU PROVIDE THE EQUIPMENT AND I'LL KEEP BUYING IT!!!

great ball hits like a big monster just coming into the pins and i can not belive i have to type a 100 words just so you people need to know why i like this ball. play around second on a normal house shot and throw it 16 mph and you'll do fine. i cant do that thow because i cant throw it more then 13 mph because i only weigh 75lbs. i dont have any complaints about this ball though. i really really really really very very very very very very much like this amazing ball for a 100 and 30 dollars and it is goood

I JUST GOT THIS BALL RECENTLY I HAD IT DRILLED WITH THE PIN ABOVE THE RING FINGER AND THE CG KICKED ABOUT AN INCH THIS DRILLING IN RETURN GIVES MORE LENGTH AND MORE BACKEND REACTION IT BASICLY GETS IT TO FACE SOONER. I HAVE BEEN BOWLING SOLID WITH THIS BALL SHOT A 691 OUT OF THE BOX AND I JUST LOVE THE REACTION AND HOW WELL IT REACTS ON LONGER PATTERNS TO BUT ANYTHING OVER 41 FEET THIS BALL IS A NO NO I THREW IT ON A 38 FT 5 TO 1 RATIO AND I PLAYED 27 TO 15 AND THIS BALL CAME RAGIN BACK ITS AMAZING WHAT IT CAN DO WHILE EVERYONE ELSE TRYING TO PLAY THE SAME LINE IS GOING HIGH THEY ARE ALL USING THE WORST BALL EVER(TOTAL INFERNO) A MUST HAVE FOR A GOOD ARSENAL

The Cherry Vibe for the price and the multi dimensional use of this ball is a must have. In fact, I am planning on getting a second one to put away in case this product is retired. This can also be a great starter ball for a beginner just learning the game. Me personnally, I dont believe anything should be done to alter the coverstock it works just fine as is straight out of the box. Can be used to play down and in or swing the length of the floor on the right conditions, given the right speed, target line, and amount of hand put in the shot. Got this ball drilled pin above right of the ring finger (left handed) 16 to 17 mph speed, high revs, was really surprised when purchased thought I was getting a fairly weak ball to handle a drier shot, but boy was I surprised, Overall grade AAAAA+++ equipment like the title says a must have in your arsenal, real bang for the buck.

I was talking to a pro shop owner about how I was in the market for something that can clear the front heads and store up more energy in lighter oil patterns. Without giving extra thought, he recommended this ball. As soon as this ball hit the market, the hammer rep told him that this ball was one of the best kept secrets out there. The way this ball reacts is something that you would expect from a high performance ball. I decided to take him up on the suggestion and I'm glad I did. This ball hits harder and stronger than anything I've drilled up in a long time. On a light oil house shot, I was standing on 32 getting this ball over the 3rd arrow and the pins never stood a chance. If you are looking for something for light oil or when your line begins to break down, look no further. Do yourself a favor and drill up one of these, you will not be dissappointed.

I had this ball drilled weak for light oil, it is still a little too strong, but I still love it. Ball goes pretty long and stores up energy while going down the whole lane to make a great turn and impact. It is just remarkable that a ball with such a low price can be so powerful. You will leave a 10 with this ball here and there, but what ball doesn't? I definately don't reccommend this ball if you are looking for something for light or dry conditions. Hammer just keeps making better and better balls.

Going to drill another with the pin under the ring finger for a more controlled breakpoint and to play straighter up 8-10 through the front part of the lane, instead of swinging the ball from 17 to 8,the way it's drilled now. pickup ball at Gastonia pro shop (Darn good ball drillers) Cherry Vibe is replacing a Track Artillery Partial (gave it away) ping above ring finger 1 o'clock from cg no weight hole, I found this ball is all about ball speed give it time to the break point this ball will start to arc toward the pins. this ball didn't leave nutty splits / spares a 10, 7 or 5 pin might be standing (bowlers fault) others wise nice turns to the pocket. Now for us non pro bowlers if you miss your mark this ball won't recover but, Overall a must have this fall for winter league season

very strong, hard hitting ball. i can't wait to use it in a tournament when the lanes start to breakdown. the reaction is amazing. very strong off the dry. controlable break point. great for the price. Drilling #2 - Length Layout on Hammer's Symmetric Core Drilling Guide Pin Placement: Place pin at 5 - 5½” from the positive axis point (PAP) above the ring finger. provides extra length that i need on light oil. if you get soft with it, it'll pick-up its roll alittle early causing high hits and spilts. i was very surprised i could use it on more oil conditions than i thought and i was able to play deeper than i thought.
