ITS A GOOD BALL WITH THE RIGHT OIL PATERN..I HAVE FOUND ITS MUCH STRONGE RIN DRY TO LIGHT OIL..I WOULD RECOMEND IT TO ANYONE THAT WANTED A GOOD HAMMER BALL.I AM USEING 14LB..ITS AGGRESSIVE ENOUGH THAT YOU DONT NEED THE WEIGHT TO MAKE THE PINS FALL.I HAVE LEFT FEW WASHOUTS OR SPLITS WITH IT..I LIKE IT OUT OF THE BOX . I WOULD GET ANOTHER BALL FOR OTHER OIL PATERNS..& IF YOU CAN FIND ONE I RECOMEND THE HAMMER BIG BLUE SPARE,,I HAVE HAD MORE LUCK WITH LEFT CORNER PINS WITH THIS BALL THAN ANY OTHER........

This is my first ball that's in my "move to 14lb" arsenal. I was skeptical at first, but after about 2-3 games any dislikes I had about the way the ball reacted were thrown away. We drilled the ball to be even (pin above the fingers, right down the middle). It's a versatile ball, I've played 6th arrow, and I've played 3rd board, on the same shot. Worth the low line money you pay for it. The ball does hit like a hammer, unless you send it outside, than you may have problems with weak tens/wash outs. At 14lbs, the ball still carries all the light/heavy hits that my 15lbs ball did, very important to me moving down in weight. Short update: I've put about 40-50 games on the ball with basic cleaning after 6 games or so and the ball still hasn't shown a sign of tracking out

I decided to try this ball after talking to Ron Sr. at Ebonite/Hammer. I called him asking about the Toxic but he seemed to think that it would be more ball than I needed . I didn't have the Anger yet then either and was looking for something when our wood lanes started "going away." It completely fills the bill. Thanks Ron Sr. This ball really surprised me by just how much it actually hooks if there is just a little bit of dry in the back end. I found that it will work for me on medium oil if I can find some dry down the lane somewhere, This is my third Hammer ball and I like each of them...even as much as my Ebonite balls and I normally prefer Ebonite to everything else.

This ball is a lifesaver for me. My other ball is a Raw Hammer Pain and as soon as that hits a dry spot, forget about it, it's not gonna even come close to the pocket. The Vibe which this review is about, just flat out destroys the pins. Ive been able to use it on medium oil conditions and play straight down the 10 board/ 2nd arrow and the backend can be too much sometimes. Ive left a good amount of 9 pins because of the backend on the ball, but that is a lot better than split after split with my Pain.

easy to get through the heads with nice snap on the backend. Can actually play this ball on more lane conditions than i expected. haven't bought this ball yet, but borrowed my roommates and threw it. amazing length through the fronts and nice controlled move towards the pocket. Didn't think i'd be able to move inside with it, but it has the ability to play a tight inside line and carry. Love the look and style of the ball. This ball will make a nice addition to my hammer arsenal when everything i have wants to jump brooklyn like all less aggressive balls, if you swing it wide you're on your own. some washouts and weak tens.

I bought this ball because the advertisements said it goes down the lane with little effort and hits hard. Boy does it ever hit. I use a 12 lb. ball because of two rotator tears and the Vibe hits more like 15 lbs. than 12.The reaction reminds me of the old Faball Ice Blue Razor which was my favorite ball. I might just buy another Vibe to keep it as a backup before they discontinue it. Another great aspect of this ball is that I can also use it for my corner pin spares. I just flatten it out and it goes where I tell it to. It is very good looking ,too. I give it a ten out of ten. Nice job Hammer!.

Warning: Do not try to use this ball on lanes with ANY OIL! I started bowling in 1973 at the age of 31, had only ever been in a Bowling Alley 4 times before that, and am now almost 65 years old. I have always been a far better recruiter of bowlers than one myself. I bowled 17 years before I was lucky enough to win First Place in 1990. My 3 First Place Teams were in 1990, 1994, and 2006! I have been on 4 Second Place Teams, 5 Third Place Teams, and a whole lot of Last Place Teams. I bought this ball because my Faball/Hammer "Nail" had a broken weight block, has been discontinued, and cannot find a good replacement. I purchased a TOXIC Raw Hammer today, because the Blue Vibe will NOT do the job when ANY oil exists on a bowling lane. <THIS IS THE VOICE OF EXPERIENCE TALKING!>

I'm a lefty who loves to stand on 15 or 20 and swing it to the channel if the shot allows it. This ball exploded through the pins, keeping them low. My light shots carried extremely well, shooting the messenger head pin back across the lane kicking the 7 out several times. I tried playing an inside line for the heck of it, and this ball was brilliant with a very smooth backend into the pocket. This ball is very workable from just about anywhere on the lane. If you're a player looking for control and forgiveness, this ball is a great place to start looking. I'm a 220 + average player in 3 houses, and I'm here to tell you this ball hits just as hard as those 'high performance' $200-$300 monsters. Try it, you'll love it. --Hammerhead 4 life.
