Hammer HPT Cover-Black Pin. Modified Particle Content Cover for Length. Four Density Offset Core. Strong Backend Finish.

CORE INFORMATION

The Hammer Four Density (4D) Core consists of four individual components, Top flare ring, top cap, mid-body and lower cap. All four core parts are of different densities. The 4D core body is placed in an Offset Position in relation to the centerline of the ball. This is the ball's drive mechanism.

COVERSTOCK

The Hammer HPT, for Hammer Particle Technology, is the latest development in "ACTIVE" cover materials. HPT is the production process where millions of tiny material particles are interspersed throughout the Urethanes used in producing the ball's cover. These material particles create the ball's grab on the lane resulting in increased friction causing more hook than ball's with today's Reactive or Conventional Urethane covers.

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION

The 4D-HPT Tour has been developed primarily for use on PBA Tour type conditions where additional versatility is needed as lane conditions change or break down. Just as in the Non Tour version of the 4D-HPT, the ball's cover creates an Awesome amount of friction. Friction, combined with ball momentum, initiates the hook action while keeping the ball's energy "In Check" for devastating pin carry. The 4D core compliments the HPT Tour cover, giving the ball Drive and Revs.

MAINTENANCE SUGGESTIONS

The Factory Finish of the 4D-HPT Tour is a Dull Compound Matte Texture WB-700. To bring the ball close to original surface condition, it is recommended to use a coarse cutting/rubbing compound and significant pressure on a high speed ball spinner. Or use the red scotch brite pad on a resurfacing machine for 15 minutes.

Hammer was brought onto the scene by this ball! Fantastic ball! i hit a 250 with it aged 12 and bearing in mind it is only a 12lb ball it hit harder than a wrecking ball on supercharge! Just have to hit your target and the ball will remain consistent and do what you need! whether ur light or heavy on the pocket it still generates enough pin action to get you high scores! I wish i could get my hands on another one but this time i would get a 15lb hammer 4d to really show the pins who is boss! A ball way ahead of its time!
