Dyno-Thane has created an all-new weight block and coverstock for the Elixir. The completely redesigned weight block features an improved tri-stack design with Dyno-Sphere(tm) technology, a dense inner core creating a low rg (2.525). On top is a 4" brick (flip block) for tremendous flare potential (7" plus). Encompassing this core is an all-new GT(tm) (Gripping Technology) particle coverstock for added traction in the oil. The surface of the GT coverstock can be easily adjusted for a specific reaction on most lane surfaces.

I found this ball very unusual. This ball will not hook alot, yet it will hook on anything. I have a fair amount of hand, and there are alot of balls on the market I can hook coast to coat, but this is not one of them. Although, no matter how much oil is out there this thing will hook and hit great. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but I'm not complaining. The surface of this ball is easily adjusted. Dull this thing can hook, polished it becomes a good medium ball. Good ball for heavy oil. 7 out of 10.

i first got this ball drilled it for a strong roll on back end pin next to ring finger.shot 640 first time using it did polish it to 1500 ball carried alot of light hits and when it hit the pocket the pins exploded this ball sent more messengers than the post office.i lent it to one of my team mates he shot 300 with it on some nasty carry down, the ball for me rolls med mid lane with strong back end.if there is no head oil tho put it away it hooks way to soon on dry
