I went to Corpus Christi to bowl Nationals. On the way back went to Columbia for the factory tour. Found this ball there. They were selling it as a blem because the pin was 5+" from Cg. I drilled it with the pin 6" from PAP above the middle finger and the CG in the thumb positive quandrant. Put a little wt hole 1" below PAP on the VAL. First night out, no practice, shot 231 avg right out of box. Threw on the second shift and the shot was way broke down. Down and in around the 7 board, ball went 40+ ft then a smooth arc to the pocket. Great carry, 9 or better every shot. One of the best Columbia balls I have thrown in 20 years. I think that the Dr Jekell is the same ball different color. I had been wanting to buy a desert heat, but I'm very happy with the Panic. Not a big hooker, more of a control ball for light oil.

I was in need of a ball for medium to medium-dry conditions and my Buddy recommended this ball. Got this one NIB, $60 bucks well spent! Specs are as follows: 16Lbs, Lay Out: Pin above bridge, CG in Center of Grip. With this lay out I am able to play a variety of lines with the same end result. This ball has amazing smooth roll, and awesome carry. When it hits, it hits hard. This ball works really well on carry down , and spotty conditions for me. This is the ball I go to when its not quite dry and not quite heavy, but nothing else seems to want to roll up. A definate must have if you see spotty conditions, or if you need/want a good medium- medium-dry oil ball.

I bought this ball as a test but for a good price on buddiesproshop.com. I have this ball drilled with a 4 1/4" pin with a little negative side-weight. Let me say this: THIS BALL GOES LONG. The ball goes very long on the front but then rolls very nicely on the backends. Very good ball for a stroker, if you crank I would not recemmend this ball. You have to be very accurate throwing this ball cause with if you throw this ball with a wrong hand release, this ball won't do jack. But if thrown correctly, great working ball.

Never had a better ball for the money (Cheap). Don't buy high performance balls that cost 200.00 plus dollars until you try this 75.00 dollar ball that reacts better and very consistent on Medium to Light Oil conditions. This ball comes back to the pocket from anywhere with authority without overeacting and pin carry is outsanding. Ever since I bought this ball and used in the two tournaments...I've never been ask so many times in my life about "what ball is that"...Go to www.buddiesproshop.com and purchase this ball. Get this ball you won't regret it.

this ball its good for stroker and tweener but not for cranker looking for a good controlable reaction on sport condition or heavy oil this ball reads good but just thru the midlane the ball loose all the hook action and just stay stright you can useit for the 10 pin or right side spares hehehe but in medium oil the ball its very awesome hooks pretty nice and hits like a monster truck but never use this ball in light it over reacts the lane... in a few word the ball is for medium oil only no more great medium oil but not for all styles

i bought this ball to fill out my arsenal for light oil to dry conditions and was pleasantly suprised at how consistent a shot i got from this ball. when the conditions go haywire and i cant seem to figure things out i pull this baby out and go to a down and in shot and just start crushing the the pocket. its coming out of the bag alot more then i figured when i bought it but got to go with what works.........glad to have it in my arsenal and would recommend to anyone. two thumbs up. trying to find a benchmark ball this good.

Another great med-light oil ball from Columbia. As long as I do not have to get inside this ball is absolute dynamite when it hits. If the shot is inside put this ball away and get a ball made to play that line. If not you'll get real tired of leaving flat 10's. The last 8 ft you can count on this ball finishing and punishing the pins. Like I said, you can't play inside because it's not made to play there. But if you see that you have a shot outside, DON"T PANIC! Just reach in your bag and get this ball and put a sense of PANIC into the pins.<

This ball has to be my favorite of all the Columbia ball I own. I used a 3" pin in between my fingers, with the cg kicked out just enough not to have a weight hole. I use this ball on heavy oil, right up the twig, and it holds lne so well, and when it snaps, IT SNAPS!!! As long as you swing it out to dry boards, this thing with hook. The ball revs up so fast, and still just skids through the heads clean. I recommend this ball to anybody looking for a ball to play the gutter, or any house shot. for that matter.

The specs. on the ball was 1.5 inch pin out with 2.75 oz top weight. Drilled the ball stacked with pin 1/2 in outside and below my ring finger. Wanted a ball to use on a medium conditions. There was a big gap between my oil ball ( Dynothane Vendetta Particle - Sanded and my Vendetta Pearl) , so I thought this would do the trick. I talked to a Columbia staff member and he loves this ball. WOW I do too , since using it!!!!. Get one, get one , get one get one , get one get one, get one get<s

i had the ball drilled to go long down the lane with a good amount of backend on it. i bought it because the house i bowl at is pretty dry, but when i had it drilled, i used it on lanes that were pretty oily, and it worked like a charm, i havent found a lane condition yet that this ball cant handle. when i release it, you can just see the ball building up the revs, and when it reaches the break point, the pins have no chance, the ball just destroys em all. my advise to anyone looking for a versitile ball, buy a panic, you wont be disappointed.<

This ball was one of three given to me by a friend of mine, had only 5 games on it, practicly new. Ball was drilled for light oil, or if i wanted to a down and in (down & dirty) shot. First time i threw it i was shocked on the amount of pin action it got, just threw the pins in every direction. Also use it as a spare ball once the lanes start to break down to pick that nasty ass 10 pin. This would be a great ball for a beginner and a must have for anyones arsenal. Another great product by Columbia....Keep it UP!!!

when i first drilled it i didnt even throw it for about a week, cuz all lane conditions were oily, so when the lanes finally called for medium oil, this ball was unreal, bombing the pocket, pins didnt stand a chance, the late revs caused by the high rg is a thing of beauty, it rolls down the lane a catches the flip and unloads all over the rack, awesome ball for the drier lane, people who have seen me throw it have gone to get one, i dont think there is a better ball for drier conditions than this one,

if you bowl on chaning lanes, you need this ball for the carry down, and drying out of the later games. The ball does not over react on the backend... so pocket splits are not a problem for this ball. The consistency of the reaction of the ball makes it easy to quickly locate the shot on the lane. If you are bowling with crankers who carry midlane oil into the strike area, this ball still reacts well. I am throwing this ball around 15mph finger tip. My husband liked it so much, he went out and bought one. It is a good ball to have in the aresonel.
